(NL) We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in dit huisje. De eigenaar is een hele vriendelijke man en zorgt ervoor dat alles in het huis naar wens is. Het zwembad bij het huis werd elke dag vroeg schoongemaakt zonder dat wij er iets van hebben gemerkt. Een prachtig huis waar je de hele vakantie plezier kunt hebben zonder dat je het huis verlaat. Ik zal elke groep vrienden of familie die op vakantie gaan om een goede tijd met elkaar te hebben dit huis aanraden. (EN) We had a great stay in this house. The owner is a very friendly man, he makes sure everything in the house meets your wishes. The owner cleanded the pool every day early in the morning whitout us even noticing. A beautifull house where you can have fun without even leaving the house. I recommend this house to every group of friends or family who are on a vacation to have a nice time together.

Antieke huis op een mooie locatie! We hebben heerlijk genoten van het buitenzwembad en jacuzzi. De gastheer is 24 uur per dag bereikbaar. Wij hadden een klein mankement en dat heeft hij direct opgelost! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Het is een oud vakantiehuis, maar heeft wel een aangename uitstraling. Voldoet wel aan de verwachtingen.

Nous venons de passer le week-end dans ce gîte pour fêter un EVG,nous avons appréciés le séjour dotant plus que le soleil était au rendez-vous.Piscine et Jacuzzi au top!!!Nous étions 12 et tout le monde a dormis plus que correctement.Proprietaire très sympathique.Appréciable de pouvoir rendre la location le dimanche en fin d’après-midi plutôt qu’au matin.Cela permet de profiter pleinement de la journée. Rien a redire

L'accueil et le séjour ont été à la hauteur de nos attentes. C'est un vrai havre de paix avec une literie très appréciées par toutes et tous. Nous recommandons ce lieu très charmant.

Great place to stay! We were here with 10 friends for New Year 2018/19. House was very clean and the interior was great. Had an awesome time. Mr. Cavalera (the owner) was very courteous and came regularly to maintain the pool. And a tip for Peruwelz, try restaurant Tonton Toque, it also grat! Thinking about coming back in summer!

Spent a long weekend here in August. Everything was in good order, pool was clean and not overlooked, hot-tub was great. Only a 2 minute drive to local supermarkets and not far from Tournai or Vallenciennes if you need bigger towns. Only 90 minutes from Calais and within easy striking distance of Ypres, Ghent, Bruges or Brussels if required. Property was clean and spacious, but it is a gite, not a 5-star hotel. Multiple bathrooms and showers, so nobody had to queue in the morning. Just one tip for travellers, towels are not included, the Home and Away site does not make this clear. No big deal for the self-catering traveller, but bring plenty, you will use the pool and hot tub a lot !!!! Enjoy. Thank you Sergio for a lovely weekend.

Stayed with my family. 10 in total. We all loved it. Very nice area close to so many different cities. Definitely recommend this place for touring around this area or generally Belgium. Perfect place for families with small children as we had or as a group of adults.

The pool and Jacuzzi were very well maintained and really added to our holiday. Perfect! The property was extremely well equipped with all you would need. Internet access was great. The cottage is situated in a very small, quiet village however, there were a few supermarkets within a few minutes drive so it was very easy to stock up on groceries.We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to others and we are certainly considering a return visit.

Thaks to Sergio Cavalera, the owner of the place. A very nice and friendly home. Our family, 7 adults and 4 little childrens enjoyed the accomodation. Although the weather was resenable the swimmingpool was 26ºC en the jaccuzie 36ºC We had an unforgetable stay! Thanks Sergio.

We had a very enjoyable time when we stayed at this cottage last August – we were so pleased with the cottage and its facilities and most especially the excellent customer service provided to us by the owner(s). The location was very close to the motorway which gave us easy access in visiting different cities in Belgium as well as Lille, France. It is also very convenient that the shops are only a few minutes away from the cottage. It was also situated in the countryside with private parking so we had privacy and didn’t have to worry about disturbing the neighbours. The house is beautiful and filled with nice furnitures and equipment including computer and printer. Internet access was never a problem for us. The kitchen equipments were all working so it was very handy to have everything we needed to be able to cook as we love cooking. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were well maintained throughout our stay so the kids including the adults had a great time. The owners of the house were kind and lovely, they ensured we had everything we needed and they came round a few times to ensure that the facilities were well maintained. It was excellent and we will definitely recommend this cottage to our friends and families. We are already considering coming back here even for a stay over a long weekend depending on availability.

"Large, spacious house in a quiet rural location but very close to a main motorway. The kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of toys for the children to play with and the availability of a computer with internet and printer was very useful. The pool and garden area is fantastic and very private. The owner of the house was very friendly and helpful."

"At first view the house seems great. There were plenty of bedrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was fantastic although only heated to 23C so it was a bit chilly on colder days. The surroundings are quite peaceful; in a small town but with no ammenities. The only complaint we had was the smell. There were places inside the house that had an awful odour. This same odour could be smelled at times when by the pool. It almost smelled like the septic tank needed to be cleaned out. There were a few things falling apart including the master bathtub. The master shower head did not work properly either. All in all it was a nice place to stay but could use some TLC."
