We stayed here for a girl's weekend. The house was spotless and Laureen was wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend!

This house was very nice for our girls’ weekend in Galena! Parking was easy and readily available and everything on Main Street was within walking distance. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean too! The disco ball made our Saturday night even more fun! Thanks for a great stay!

Had a great weekend getaway with some high school friends. The house and location were perfect. Lauren was great to deal with. Place was very clean and well set up. I would stay there again.

We had 6 “moms” that stayed for Mother’s Day weekend. Perfect location to the shops and eateries. The house was modern design, awesome inside and outside entertainment options, had everything we needed to feel at home, great communication and easy booking.

Great location, very close to main street. Charming old home that has been completely renovated. The owner had thought of everything and is very helpful to work with. The only trade off is some noticible road and train noise that is hard to avoid in the city.

Fantastic location less than a block from restaurants/shops on Main Street. Adorable, clean, charming old house with modern amenities, though we actually didn't spend much time there since it was so close to everything! Lauren was a great host - responsive, accommodating and helpful. Our whole family loved their stay, and we definitely hope to return soon!

We were a group of girlfriends looking for a place large enough to accommodate us. Lauren's property was perfect. Her home was beautiful and the location just off Main Street made for easy access to stroll through the shops and dine at the restaurants. We have already decided if we do another girls Galena trip we would stay here again.

The house is located right off of the main street in Galena. Lots of space and very comfortable. Easy check in and great host.

It was clean, quaint and right down town! Owners were always on call if needed and kept us informed if there was anything up in the neighborhood (such as a power outage). We will definitely stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. Check in was easy and were offered a late check out due to the owners schedule, which we had not requested. How nice! The house is so very cute, well equipped, and we felt right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better location as we were shopping and spending most of our time downtown. We were just a couple blocks from the main shopping h and dining areas. The bedroom layout worked well for us 4 girls, and we could have easily had a few more in our group. The two bathrooms are small but have all the updated amenities you would need. We highly recommmend this home and would reserve again. Oh, did I mention the disco ball!!! Thank you Lauren for putting together such a great place!

The house was perfect in every way! As six women in town for a fun girls weekend, the first thing we noticed and continued to comment on is how incredibly clean the house is! It’s proximity to all the things going on in town allowed us to just park our cars and walk everywhere all weekend. The house came perfectly stocked with everything you could need. Comfortable beds, nice linens. I can’t compliment Lauren enough on her great communication! She updated us on things to expect during the busiest weekend of the year and gave great, helpful suggestions. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you, Lauren!

We greatly enjoyed our three night stay at this lovely property. The biggest benefit to staying in this house was the terrific location -- just one block off of the main street through Galena. It was so nice and easy to walk to anywhere in town we needed to go. I was slightly apprehensive about the parking situation, but there was plenty of street parking. A nice plus was the the police station was just a few yards down the road. The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. I certainly appreciated that Lauren provided coffee and creamer for us, as we drove into town to late to do any grocery shopping beforehand. There was plenty of space on the main floor and the master bedroom was nice and big with ample closet space. Our adult daughter stayed in the downstairs room with the single bed and was very comfortable there, although I would say it would be a very tight fit if the trundle bed were pulled out. Lauren was easy to work with and I highly recommend this property.

This house is in the perfect location! It was very clean and comfortable for the 6 of us. Nicely decorated and the back porch is perfect for taking a break from shopping. Had a slight issue with wi-fi but Lauren was very responsive and was fixed within minutes! Would definitely book again!

The house was very clean and had beds, towels and all the essential kitchen ware for seven of us. The added touches like the Gevalia coffee were nice. The house is just old, but well maintained and nicely appointed. There is a small deck off the back that you can sit on and enjoy the sun and watch people go by.

We were in Galena for our annual family trip to see the living windows. There were 7 of us total and the downtown house was perfect for us! The house was beautiful and spotless and the owner was amazing to work with! Being in walking distance to Main Street was yet another plus. There was ample room to spread out. We enjoyed many hours of family games at the dining room table and when it came time to cook dinner there were plenty of pots, pans and utensils available. If considering this house as a rental I wouldn’t hesitate, I would snag it up before someone beats you to it!

We rented this house for a bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! The renovations they did are beautiful. The house is so charming! And it was the perfect location. We were right in the downtown so we could go back to the house whenever we needed. We never even needed our car all weekend. I highly recommend this house!!

We booked a two nights girls trip and wanted something close to downtown Galena. This location was PERFECT! We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The house was beautiful and very well maintained, it was spotless! Parking was not an issue either. We easily found street parking right by the house and never had to move or even use our cars the entire trip which was our goal. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and had everything ready for us. She even had a bag of Halloween candy in case any trick or treaters showed up! I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate staying here again.
