The villa was great and in a lovely quiet area. There was plenty of room for 4 adults plus our sons who came to stay for a long weekend. The location was ideal as There was an amazing Indian around the corner along with a chinese restaurant, a couple of shops and a bar. Aldi, Lidl and a consum were also nearby making it easy to pick up what we needed. The main plaza was only a few minutes walk away and the beach only about a 10/15 minute walk away. The communal pool was only around the corner and was very quiet especially the first week when quite often there were only the 4 of us there. It did get busier the 2nd week but was never over crowded and the families tended not to stay all day. The only negative from our stay was that there weren’t sun beds available that could be easily transported to the pool. This however didn’t spoil what was a great holiday in a lovely villa. I would definitely look to book here again and would recommend it to others.

Couldn’t fault the property it was everything and more than we expected nice quiet street outside space just fantastic practically lived outside so many place you can go and sit at all amenities just a short walk away with relaxing night life would definitely come back x

Lovely house in a quiet area with easy access to restaurants bars and shopping The house is clean and very well equipped including the cot and high chair for our granddaughter Pool is lovely although no real shallow part for babies/toddlers Thank you we will definitely visit again

Everything you need is within walking distance we hired bikes just around the corner from villa for €10 a day to visit mud baths also a good way to explore more of the area.recomend la sambra for kebabs and pizza by the arches portions are huge and inexpensive. Our thanks to Brenda the owner who was very helpful will definitely be back all in all a perfect holiday would definitely recommend it

I must say I am very disappointed in which the way the owner Brenda has treated me and my family. I had enquired about the villa for our holiday next summer. Brenda called back very promptly the next day saying yes the dates we were looking for were available. I then called the her back to confirm to be told that she was going holiday until 6th Oct and didn't like transferring cash from a/c's while she was out the country, but not too worry she would contact me on her return and we could sort out the deposit then as I should take the booking as confirmed and because we had been talking about flights was also told yes go ahead and book them so I did. The 6th Oct came and went with no contact from the Brenda. I then text her with no reply. Next step on the 11th Oct was to send an other enquiry through this site asking the best for us to pay the deposit on her return from holiday and that we had booked our flights. Strangely enough I got a phone call that evening only to have the bombshell dropped on us! Seemingly the villa had been booked while the owner was on holiday through her secretary and as these people had paid their deposit the booking was theirs. I then reminded the Brenda Uthat it was her who had told us not to pay the deposit until she had returned from holiday!! When I suggested telling the other people that there had been a mix up as we had book it first I was spoken over and offered an apartment in the same area. It wasn't what we were looking for and it certainly wasn't what we had booked! We are now left in a situation where we have booked flights after taking the owner's word that we were booked up and now having to look for new accommodation. If this is way the way people run their businesses then I feel I need to pre warn potential visitors. To say I am very disappointed in the way we have been treated is an understatement. ****Please note I couldn't proceed without star or date which are not accurate******

We are a family of four and we had a great time here. The villa was clean, well maintained and well equipped with plenty of outdoor space. The welcome note, grapes and wine was a thoughtful touch. It felt like a home from home. It benefits from being close to the AP-7 but was surprisingly quiet. Within easy walking distance to the main plaza which has many restaurants. There are two supermarkets within easy walking distance and in high season a night market by the Lidl supermarket. If you like Indian food like us the Nepali Indiañ Restaurant just round the corner was very good for eating in or for a takeaway. Great size kitchen for self catering with a nice outside eating area at the front of the villa. Could have done with more than one chopping board though! The communal pool was clean and we'll looked after if a little souless. Good to cool down in but not being able to play games etc made it unexciting for our boys but the great beaches make up for it. Our boys reported good WiFi reception! Better than home (although we live in a village of less than 600 in rural Devon, so not much of a comparison!). We would recommend this villa.

My husband and I and our four children, have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Brenda's villa in Los Alcazares. The villa was even better than we expected and our children were calling it home within minutes of arrival. It was indeed a home away from home, everything we needed was provided in the villa and it was spotless. Graeme and Brenda were very helpful before our arrival and during our visit to the area. Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance and the beach and Plaza are approximately 12 minutes walk away and after an evening out in one of the wonderful restaurants (We ate out on several occasions and the two restaurants I would recommend our RUN and VENI), a taxi back to villa will cost around €4.00. (you can ring a taxi in advance and be picked up coming out of the Plaza). There is a fun fair every night during the months of July and August, and there are markets on every night beside the fair set up beside to Lidl). The pool is one minutes walk from the villa and is rarely busy. The local people and owners and visitors of the surrounding villas are very friendly and helpful and the area is very safe and children friendly. We had a fantastic holiday and have returned home totally refreshed and relaxed. Hi Brenda, Just to say on behalf of my party a Big Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa it was everything as described and more, it was beautiful and very well equipped with all the utensils needed for self catering and the roof terrace wonderful and private Amazing. The area was peaceful and only a few minutes from the centre of town with plenty of excellent eating places ie. Rosalinds, The Penny Farthing, The Pasty Shack and loads of others and all good value and very good food. The beach was only 10minutes walk from the villa with great views over to La Manga and also plenty good watering holes all along the front. Places worth visiting included La Manga, Cartagena, Masaron & Murcia. Overall I can say it was an excellent 2 weeks accommodation, facilities, area and sunshine what more could anyone want. Almost forgot Graeme and the young lady who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport on our arrival and departure and for information given to us about local amenities, a big thank you to them. Los Alcazares is a really nice place to stay and we had a great time. Graeme was most helpful and made getting to and from the airport so easy. Myself, partner and 2 children aged 7 and 5 stayed in Brenda's beautiful property for 11 nights during the Summer holidays. We were greeted at the airport by Graeme who drove us to the villa (5 mins from the airport). We were blown away by the space and size of the villa as well as the fixtures and fittings, there was nothing we lacked for our holiday. We made great use of the outside space, the roof terrace was a lovely place to sit in the evening. We enjoyed the short walk to the supermarket which had everything we needed and slightly further to restaurants and bars. The walk to the beach was slightly longer and small legs did get tired but the beach was so clean and the water very safe for the children who's swimming came on a great deal. This was also assisted by daily visits to the pool close to the villa, we we mostly had the pool to ourselves which during school holidays was very much a luxury when on holiday. Thank you Brenda for the ease of booking the apartment and letting us stay in your beautiful villa. If we came again (which I hope we will!) I think we would consider car hire to enable us to explore further afield or try the local bus's. We had a fantastic holiday and my partner who has not self catered before was blown away by how much more relaxing he found our time away than on previous package holidays.

It was a pleasure staying in such a well maintained and equipped house. The onsite agent was helpfull without being intrusive. The booking and payment system was easy with good communication from the owner. The town is just as the owner described and has just the sort of atmosphere we like with lots of nice restaurants and quiet bars.   We would not hesitate to rent this property again.

This was the first time me and my husband had tried a self catering holiday so we were a little apprehensive prior to our arrival. We need not have worried. The care to detail and the service we had was five star. Brenda the owner had arranged everything through her agent Graham who was an absolute gem. He picked us up from the airport and took us the short trip into Los Alcazares and gave us a quick tour of the town and recommended places to eat etc. The villa itself was immaculate and well equipped. The memory mattress was amazing and we both slept well in this quiet little street. The wine, fruit and personal note from Brenda was a lovely touch. The villa was perfectly situated for us as it was within walking distance of all the central areas. We absolutely loved the area and did not even feel the need to hire a car, which was another first for us. I have to say that this was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. We plan to go back very soon but would definitely stick to the spring or autumn as the temperatures then are perfect for us. The promenade is so amazing that we walked for miles very day. We will probably hire a car even for a few days next time to explore the surrounding areas. Looking forward to our return to Brenda's beautiful home from home.

We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing holiday! The villa was perfect for us, and our 18 & 14 year old daughters had a great time too! We didn't use the fabulous roof terrace or bedroom terrace as it was so hot but the downstairs terrace was great for breakfast as sun was just coming round then great for a few refreshments before dinner as it was shaded. The finishings in the villa are beautiful - marble stairs, oak doors/wardrobes, comfortable bed in main bedroom, fluffy towels etc AND travelling good old Ryanair with 10kg each, we really appreciated the beach towels!! We went to the square a few evenings but also went to The Arches (left at bottom of road) as this was a bit closer although more English than the square! Brenda kept in touch with us and Graeme picked us up and dropped us off at airport - will definitely be back!!

We have just returned from a stay in this fabulous villa. The welcome note, wine and cherries (delicious - they don't taste like that at home!) were such a nice touch. You said the villia was our home from home and you were absolutely right, you also said the bed was comfy, TRUE, this is the first time that we have not been looking forward to getting home, just to get in our own bed! We have stayed in Los Alcazares many times, but this was, without doubt, our favourite accomodation. We made full use of the sun terrace on the roof, and the cushions on the sun loungers were great - usually have to make do with hard plastic! The kitchen had everything (and more) than anyone could wish for, and was perfect for preparing a light lunch to eat on the terrace. Los Alcazares is a lovely town, with far more Spanish than Brits (which is what we love) and the Square is a fabulous, vibrant, place to go in the evening, with many restaurants and bars. The villa is is a great location, just a 10 minute walk from all of the action, but a lovely quiet place to go home to. We will return to Los Alcazares and hope we will be able to stay in your villa again. Finally, Graeme was great, pick up and return to airport was flawless! Thanks again Brenda. Melanie and Andy

we enjoyed our stay in your villa very much and thank you for the wine and grapes on arrival which was a kind gesture. we were surprised how quiet it was, but we understand that it gets much busier during the peak holiday periods. We had an excellent meal at Flavours one evening and the Indian nest to the Highlander was also good, unfortunately the Indian by the house was closed for holidays

My husband and I would just like to thank you for letting us rent your wonderful apartment in Los Alcazares for our summer holiday. Your apartment is as you have advertised a wonderful 2 bedroom with all mod cons in a fantasic location. We took our two young grandchildren for 2 weeks in August 2011 and they had a fab time in your pool and we could stroll down to the safe beach with them without any problem. We even had the use of your buckets, spades and floats. me and my family, has just stopped at this beautiful villa. the villa is extremely clean, well maintained, and gives a proper home from home feeling.the private sunbathing on the rooftop was a added bonus. the owner brenda should be very proud of it. brenda was so helpful dealing with the emails from start to finish of our holiday. we would definitely go back to this property again. los alcazares is a nice place with plenty of restaurants and bars, all within walking distance from the villa. we would also like to thank graeme who was very helpful for the pick up and drop off at the airport, also thank you for the wine and fruit that was left for us on our arrival. we hope to see you again next year. anne huddersfield july 2011

Had a brilliant week in Vista Azul. The villa was very spacious, clean and comfortable and the service provided by Brenda and Graham was second to none. They organised a cot and high chair for our 14 month old and the villa even came stocked with pool and beach toys, which we were very grateful for. The pool was great, and the beach is wonderful - lovely warm, calm sea and it was spotless. Also, loads of restaurants within walking distance. We actually really liked El Patio, thought the paella was delicious, just don't ask for your steak rare! Highly recommended for families - I've already booked a return trip for us!

Had a great week in Los Alcazares last week. Sun as shining everyday, evenings were a little chilly but the villa was lovely and warm. We really appreciated being so close to all the restaurants, because wewere only threre for a week we did not rent a car. All our favourites were within 5 minutes walk from the villa. Please thank Graeme for arranging the airport pick up and drop off even though the airport is only 5 minnutes drive away it was good to have the transport waiting for us, also thanks Brenda for the wine and fruit it was much appreciated. Will definitely be back again for our winter fix next year.

Just returned from lovely winter break in Los Alcazares. The weather was beautiful, blue skies every day although a little chilly in the evening. Many thanks Brenda for recommending the cycling it was a great way to work off the extra Christmas pounds and we were delighted that it was so easy to get around on the bikes. Thanks also for your restaurant recommendations they were great and extremely reasonable as you said, didn't get a chance to try them all but we will certainly be back again. The villa was wonderful, warm, comfortable and prestine clean. It was also great to be so close to everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay.
