Period features, generous size room with two beds, nice people, cute place

It was fine, there were a few bits e.g. bathroom hot water, leak in hall but it is an old lovely period house and it was very well priced so we really liked it and cannot really complain at all

we were to arrive late and were accommodated with late arrival guidance. room was a great size.

the road outside was very loud. fried breakfast could have been bigger for the price.

Building looked nice from the outside. They had a lovely dog.

Surprised we didn't hear banjos... The hotel was very run down and dingy inside. Aging, chipped or wobbly furniture. Looks like it hadn't been decorated for about 40 years. Beds were lumpy and very uncomfortable. The bathroom had such a loud fan system it woke my son several times in the night. Smelled musty and there was dust everywhere; it made me itchy! The bed linen looked ancient and the towels were tiny and so old, I didn't want to use them. There was a random step in the bathroom which was very easy to trip up, so we had to put the light on (cue the loud extractor fan). There was a big debt in the wall and ominous splatters on the bottom of the valance sheet. Everywhere in the local village was shut. Never again!

Poor service, closed unexpectedly on the Tuesday night resulting in no breakfast next morning. Strange opening times. Would not go there again. Overpriced!

Very outdated interior, rooms need complete modernisation, bathroom in particular very old, check in systems seem very outdated also with names in a diary, was shown to my room but not shown to the other door in which I would need to entrance / exit, I did have two nights but only stayed the one as I felt uncomfortable being in the hotel, also mentioned free wifi upon booking and within the rooms but could not connect as the security key written on the WiFi card did not exist, also mentions full English / Irish breakfast or vegetarian but staff said they don’t have any vegetarian alternatives so it would be a full English without the meat therefore no substitutes.

An absolutely outstanding hotel, I had a deluxe room with its own entrance, from an enclosed courtyard. Room was incredible. Every facility you needed..

Staff friendly and very good value for money. Food was lovely

Windows locked so could let air in and it was a very hot time of year

Plenty of space in the bedroom.

Noisey traffic in the night.
