The room itself was nice with confortable bed. Swimming pool is cold.

About online pricing on booking, it shows me one amount and at the end I had to pay 19% extra!!

The connection with th Mall Tesoro was awesome. At night we could walk and choose to do whatever we want as we didn't have to go outside!

That breakfast was not included in the expensive price! However in the mall there was many good choices for breakfast!

Location was good. Room was good and clean. We felt safe.

The final price was much higher than what I expected. There were additional tax charges that were added that I was not aware of. Sometimes the charges on booking.com are included and sometimes they weren't even for the same hotel. That is very confusing and I didn' t notice that which ended up costing me more. Another thing was that you need a cap to swim.

Bed was comfy

Location and felt secure with all the security measures in place from the exterior wire fencing, to the manual entrance security gate with armed agent.

Not being able to go between floors where other family members were staying. —Example: If you stayed on Level 7 and your parents were are Level 8, the NFC badging system would not allow it, creating additional complications to meet family. 3.) English and Spanish language barrier when ordering room service. Most meals where great, yet extreme hold times to speak with any translator. After meals arrived, each meal had missing items [Ketchup, Honey Mustard]. 4.) The receptionist/guest service agent never informed nor listed anywhere online that states a $80.00 USD + Tax fee [approx. $112.00 USD] for (1) visitor to come to your room for just as little as 5 minutes. The management never offered to explain or even make an adjustment or comp to our hotel bill. 5.) All for the thru traffic that came through the lobby area. Lots of cars, motorcycles, and people created a hazardous environment. 6.) The bathroom amenities were clearly outlined prior to our stay to include extra pillows, extra towels, extra duvet covers, etc. This was never fulfilled. 7.) Mini fridge pricing was outrageous expensive. Our bill totaled > $ 200 USD + for general drinks [(1) Water, (5) Coco-Cola, (2) Doroto Colombian Beers, (2) Oreos, (1) sparkling water, and (1) peanut snack bag. 8.) Upon our arrival there were hand prints on the windows that would be seen as some type of sexual activities occurred previously. 9.) good location, spacious rooms with lots of light

the property charged a higher price than the final price shown by Booking in our reservation confirmation. We argued against it and the hotel told us that they needed to add TVA to the Booking price even if it clearly stated that all charges and taxes were already included. We felt this was unprofessional, lacking transparency and misleading, as the hotel was effectively increasing our room price by 20% at check-in. This is unacceptable and a big surprise that a multinational like Accor applies such policies. Other than that, rooms are very basic and are cheaply built. You wont find any nice materials or interesting interior design despite paying 200 USD/night in a country were the minimum wage is not much higher than that. Lastly, if you want to go for dinner to one of the many surrounding good restaurants and want to come back on foot after 10pm, the path to the hotel is very awkward as you’ll have to walk accross the empty parking lot of the contiguous mall. We come to Medellin every year and will certainly not come back to his hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It was great that you could get direct into the Tesoro mall. The staff was very friendly. The staff named Gustavo helped us very well. And the breakfast was delicious.

In the night the ac was going off on its own.

The location is great! Right by the mall and ample possibilities in walk in distance.

The amount that booking say we had to pay, including taxes and fees for our stay did not match what Novotel charged us. The add an additional 19% tax to the stay. We thought this was very deceiving and unexpected.

The hotel far exceeded my expectations it was almost what I would call a 5 start hotel! The location was very desirable being so closely located to a major shopping center. The breakfast buffet was unlike anything I have experienced before as well as the room service.

I would have appreciated more towels and preferably a face towel but other than that nothing comes to mind.

they charge me extra 40 dollars just because I didn’t get the breakfast in the reservation. ! Pool looks just great in pics! they don’t have enough chairs and pool is just cold

The extra taxes

Very convenient location “inside” El Tesoro mall. it’s not walking distance from touristic areas but it is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Medellin with easy access to the airport and nice restaurants using taxis.

everything was perfect although the check in process was a little confusing to pay room upfront and then you need to pay everything at their restaurant, including breakfast everyday without the possibility of just providing room number.
