Lovely large house near the sea in West Wittering, Chichester, Sussex, England
Ein bezauberndes, helles, geräumiges, weiß getäfeltes Küstenhaus mit doppelter Fassade und einer Fülle an historischen Merkmalen. Ein schöner, reifer, geschützter Garten im Hintergrund wird von einem schönen Walnussbaum dominiert, an dem verschiedene Schaukeln hängen. Es gibt auch ein Trampolin mit Sicherheitsnetzen. West Wittering ist ein charmantes Dorf mit einem mit der Blauen Flagge ausgezeichneten Strand, dem Naturschutzgebiet East Head, einer normannischen Kirche, dem Hafen von Snowhill Creek, einem Krabbenbecken und einem hübschen Pub. Zu den Freizeitaktivitäten in der Umgebung zählen neben dem herrlichen Strand vor der Haustür Segeln, Windsurfen, Kitesurfen, Surfen, Paddeln, Radfahren, Golf, Tennis, Reiten und Vogelbeobachtung. Wunderbarer Spaziergang durch den Chichester Harbour AONB. Es gibt Pferderennen in 'Glorious' Goodwood und Fontwell Park sowie das Goodwood Festival of Speed und Goodwood Revival. Der South Downs National Park befindet sich in der Nähe, ebenso wie die wunderschöne, von Mauern umgebene Stadt Chichester (10 km) mit Kathedrale, Theater, Kino, Bowlingbahn, Freizeitzentrum und hervorragenden Geschäften. Perfect house, close to church where our son was getting married. Chocolates and Prosecco left by owner very much appreciated

Great house in a fabulous location for West Wittering and the beach. A delightful, large and spacious house within a few minutes walk of the beach and with a wonderful garden for our children who loved the trampoline, swing and large lawn area. The kitchen is well equipped and as the house has three bathrooms it is ideal for a large group. There are four double bedrooms, one with additional two single beds - ideal for children. Handy also to have a utility with washing machine. There is parking for two cars however it is a little tight on space so larger cars may struggle.

This beautiful house and garden is very well equipped for a family holiday. Only a 10 minute walk to the beautiful Sandy beach of West Wittering which has great facilities for a coffee or lunch. The house has a very large lounge dining room and kitchen suitable for a large family. Nice extra touches include a good selection of toys suitable for a wide range of children. Great seating outside to eat and relax including lovely comfortable cushions for garden furniture. The garden is well established and has a trampoline and swings for the children.
Cafe next door for light bites and cakes. The Wittering gastro pub is a two minute walk away and serves a good selection of drinks cocktails and delicious food. Local shop 5 mins walk away. Good parking for 4 cars.
Paul is a very good host and communication was excellent. High chair stair gates and travel cot available . House was warm and endless supply of hot water. Great holiday was had by the entire family and would definitely like to book again.

Great location walking distance to the beach. Great large garden for the kids. Comfortable and roomy accommodation for our large group. We had a great time. Some maintenance issues during our stay which the owner sorted. Communication with him was very good.

We stayed for 3 days at this lovely house.
It was spacious, comfortable and incredibly well located for West Wittering beach, whilst also being convenient enough for Goodwood.
The beautiful garden was an added bonus.
Would thoroughly recommend !

Lovely big house, fantastic garden for children with swings and a trampoline, super location for walking down to West Wittering beach (just over half a mile). Good communication from the owner, which made it all very easy. Lots of space for a large group. We will be back!

Property was perfectly set up for a girls weekend away, very comfortable in every way. Great kitchen and great bathrooms, plus very comfortable beds. We all agreed we would love to revisit with our families in the summer to make much better use of both inside and lovely garden space. Lots of bracing coastal walks and lovely pubs within very easy walking reach. Evenings in front of wood burner etc. All in all a good find which would love to book again.

The home was lovely, even nicer than the pictures. We had a lovely stay and the owner was on hand if we had any queries. A nice 10 minute stroll to gorgeous west wittering beach.

Fantastic house with everything so good as mentioned in website. Owner is very good with communication and very helpful. Garden is big and beautiful and absolutely loved it every moments with friends. Would recommend this to all and will come back again soon in future.

We enjoyed a lovely few days at this beautiful house over Christmas, it was comfortable, cosy and well equipped to host Christmas so we could all relax and enjoy the days together. Would love to return in the summer to make the most of the garden space too. Lovely walks to the beach from the house.

Had a fantastic stay at this house. It is beautiful inside & out, a really comfortable & relaxing place to be. The hosts have equipped the house with everything you could need and are proactive communicating with you & preempting any questions you might have. The location is great with a coffee shop, pub, beach & water sports hire place all on foot. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

We stayed at the Cottage for the May 1/2 term and were blessed with great weather for our week in West Wittering.
The house is comfortable and has plenty of space for a family to spread out and relax. The kitchen is big and well equipped. It also offers a large fridge freezer and double multi burner gas hob.
The garden is an oasis and so relaxing it was hard to leave it . The bbq was really easy to use as was the firepit which was a big hit for toasting mashmallows with the kids
There is a very handy coffee shop next door which offers great coffee and lots of naughty treats . Finally, West Wittering beach is an short 10 minute walk away so no need to sit in traffic.

Beautiful house within easy walking distance of beach. Well equipped with plenty of toys, games and DVDs for rainy weather. Pretty garden with swings, trampoline and BBQ. Lovely scenic walks and good local pub.

Ten grownups enjoyed this lovely house. Easy to get to by bus from Chichester. Lovely walks to the beach close by. Good shopping in the next village. A nice butcher and local store 5min walk away. The House at Home pub just opposite serve nice food, friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately rather a lot of traffic but at slow speeds. West Wittering rules

This was an ideal base to explore the area from, to easy wandering to the sea and a longer walk through the larger area and local villages. The house itself was comfortable and cosy, we enjoyed cooking and eating together, chilling out in the garden and the large lounge. Honestly, it was absolutely perfect and our hosts were very kind and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is a great holiday rental, with lots of space and in a brilliant location. Paul responded quickly to all my questions, and sent lots of useful information about the house and the area. We were really unlucky with the weather, so weren't able to make the most of the fabulous location, but on a warm and sunny day the short walk (while everyone else queues in traffic!) would be marvellous. Highly recommended,
