Red Door Cottage Cozy with New Renovations to this Midtown Charmer
Dieses 1.100 Fuß Cottage ist perfekt zu Fuß zu allem, was Midtown zu bieten hat. Brooks Museum, Overton Park, Levitt Shell, Overton Square ... Mehr als 20 Restaurants, Bars, Kino, Ballet Memphis, 2 Theatergruppen und Live-Musik.
Ich bin ein lokaler Bauunternehmer und Designer, der dieses Cottage aus dem Jahr 1910 mit viel Liebe zum Detail zu einem Ausstellungsort für 2018 gemacht hat. Alles ist neu. Die Küche ist mit Gasherd ausgestattet und bietet alles, was Sie zum Kochen eines unvergesslichen Essens benötigen. Geräumiges Esszimmer mit Tisch für 8 Personen. 2 Schlafzimmer, eines mit Queen-Size-Bett und ein größeres mit King-Size-Bett. Beide mit luxuriöser Bettwäsche und Bettwäsche. Im Esszimmer sind ein Twin-Day-Bett und ein Twin-Rollbett vorhanden. 3 HDTV mit Kabel, Apple TV, Netflix und WiFi für meine Gäste. Der Außenbereich befindet sich auf der Veranda und ist der perfekte Ort für Unterhaltung und Entspannung im Freien. Neu angelegter Hof mit Parkplatz für 3 Autos auf der Einfahrt. Gästehaus wird von Langzeitmieter bewohnt. Mein Ziel bei der Auswahl der Oberflächen und Einrichtungen war es, eine bessere Qualität als ein 5-Sterne-Hotel zu bieten, als ich es kenne, wenn ich mein Ziel erreicht habe !! Wenn ich etwas verpasst habe, lass es mich wissen und es wird bereitgestellt.

Everything was seamless, it helps when you are there on business and can come back to a house that is so relaxing.

attended a weeklong school program at Christian Brothers. Great location for that. Great location for restaurants and DoorDash. Safe location with parking for two vehicles. House sits back off the street so plenty of privacy. House is well appointed and very comfortable for a week long stay or less. Great communication with host would highly recommend for a single adult stay, a family of four, or a long weekend for a couple.

Location was close to the majority of the places we were in town to visit. Great local restaurants. The property has excellent parking snd we had no issues with the layout.

Came to town to spend a 4 day weekend with our son's family and his wife's family.. The location was perfect minutes from their apartment, the house gave us plenty of room to visit. The house was clean and sits off the road. You don't hear any road noise. There was great parking for 3 cars off the road. You can walk out the front door down 2 blocks for a great place for breakfast called Bob's. I feel the kitchen is larger than it looks in the pictures. We cooked dinner 2 nights and had plenty of room for 7 adults and a baby to visit and eat. Both sides of the family would definitely stay at this house if we needed to be in Memphis again.

What a great location…. Cite, walkable neighborhood to a few shops, restaurants grocery and gas station. Under 2 miles to volleyball tournament location (on Early Maxwell). Quick and easy drive to Beale Street. House was comfortable and the host was quick to respond to questions. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, multiple tvs and washer and dryer made this a great alternative to a hotel for a family. Would recommend.

We were a couple and a single. The 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms worked well for us. Uber rides to Beale street were $7.97,also to Sun studios $7.97. Close to the Beauty Shop restaurant- excellent food and service and unique decor where Priscilla Presley used to get her beehive hairdo’s done!

This property is everything the host says it is, it’s even nicer than the pictures, and that is glorious. If I weren’t a nervous arthritic this would have been my dream vacation rental. However I am so if you are too be aware:
The two steps I said I could handle? They are not lighted, and they are extremely steep. By the end of our stay my knees and hips were stiff / sore to the point I was having trouble walking.
If you are a light sleeper or hyper-vigilant, and you are going in the fall, be advised that the largest bedroom and front porch are directly under a black walnut tree. We went in mid October so we had squirrels and walnuts thumping the roof and front porch all hours of the day and night.
Again, the property is wonderful and the host and tenant are super nice so five stars and I learned a lesson about booking vacations so win-win

Clean, cool, comfortable, convenient and particularly quiet, property well kept. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting in the area. While it seems you are in an isolated vacation spot, right around the corner, every corner, is all you need, from groceries to local attractions and eateries. 5 stars all around.

Stayed here with another couple for a 3 night Memphis exploration trip. Perfect location in Midtown close car drive to everything Memphis, including great local spots. Close to stores and groceries. . Ben was very responsive when I needed to ask a question. House was clean, comfortable decorated very nice. Kitchen could use a little more outfitting. Not a huge problem when there are good restaurants nearby! Thanks so much, Ben!

This was the perfect place for me, my husband and young adult son to stay for the weekend. It was close to Graceland, downtown and great restaurants. And a nice warm inviting retreat each evening to rest up. And affordable for the area. Highly recommend for couples and small families.

Our repeat stay at the RED DOOR property owner was once again overall positive. Communications were clear and with quick response. The front porch was exactly what we hoped for~ a great private area surrounded by beautiful trees. The home is is a great neighborhood for walking too.

This property is perfectly located for everything Memphis! We were even able to walk to Lafayette's for dinner and live music. The house has it's own parking off the street which is great. Decor is cute and welcoming. Everything you need is furnished and is very clean. Great front porch to relax and enjoy. Awesome stay!!!

Perfect place for a long weekend on our first trip to Memphis. The location is excellent and a very clean and comfortable house. We loved spinning the Sun Records station on their HK Bluetooth speaker in the living room
and the guide books were really helpful. We took the advice of one and toured the Elmwood cemetery, which was an amazing history of Memphis and it’s notable citizens and leaders.

Quiet, well-appointed gem in Midtown
If you are looking for a private, safe and quiet home to hang out and prepare your own meals at your own pace, yet close enough (15 mins) to Civil Rights Museum, Beale Street, Bass Pro Pyramid, Graceland and Sun Studio etc, for a reasonable price, then look no further. Excellent communication with property owner, charmingly decorated and relaxing place. Dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware are all nice & in good shape. Re: a previous comment - yeah, the drain in tub is slow when using the shower (larger back bathroom), but there’s crazy good water pressure. Remember, this is an older home, so if standing in a bit of water is the worst issue here, we’re all doing pretty good. Definitely would stay here again.

Our family enjoyed the home and the location was close to everything in Midtown we wanted to see and do. Brad was easy to communicate with and there was plenty of everything (towels, blankets, pillows, etc).

Great spot and very clean house. Had a blast meeting up with a longtime buddy that lives in another state. Everything was very clean and just like the pictures showed. Had to go around the block a couple of times to find it because it is tucked away and my GPS wasn’t helpful. But had no issues after that. And great communication with the owner

This is a well-appointed cottage on a quiet street, near restaurants and museums. Furnishings are attractive and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to all our communications, and clearly has given a lot of thought to what guests might need to make their stay as convenient as possible.

Rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was pretty quiet. We did notice that the drain in bathroom was pretty slow to empty, but other than that, it was a perfect spot for us to stay for a couple nights and had everything we needed. We will definitely rent again.

Paper towel roll was nearly finished, had to purchase for stay. Drainage in step-in shower not draining optimally. Close to airport but noise from airplanes almost constant (disruptive but understandable). Main reason for choosing property was porch with outdoor furniture and grill. Both would have required cleaning before use.
With above improvements and attention to details, this would be a great property.
