The house was larger than indicted by the pictures. Its well provisioned and has a nice feel.
Unloading the cars is a bit of a faff, as you'd expect from any city center location.

Brilliant location, lovely clean home
Bathroom downstairs

No breakfast obviously. Location was excellent and it was very quick to get into Norwich centre on foot. Facilities and shopping nearby. House including beds comfortable.
A freezer or freezer compartment in the fridge would have been good.
Our son slept in the bedroom with the boiler and suffered headaches. Do holiday homes have Gas Safety Certificates? Just a thought.

The property was great, lovely and extremely comfortable. It’s extremely close to the centre and had access to everything. We as a family loved it.
Nothing everything was great
4.5
It was very comfy and warm, very clean and perfect location. Just the right size for a weekend city break with my friends.
The little back bedroom has the boiler in it so could be noisy. We didn’t need to use this room though. But to be honest I’m struggling to find anything negative.

Cosy property well located for the city centre.
4.5
Convenient location. Cosy and comfortable.
3rd bedroom is directly off the 2nd, which was a little inconvenient for us as 3 adults.

Lovely house. Fresh, pleasing decoration throughout. Comfortably furnished
Nothing springs to mind.

Quiet area, about 10 minutes into city centre, house was spotless, close to shop, and few takeaways
Stairs are steep,I have trouble climbing stairs so struggled a bit. There are car parks nearby, but one is online only,an a bit awkward to pay if you are not registered,a car park further on is £6.50 all day. There is a parking space outside house, but not sure why it can't be used
5.0
Good communication from host, central location, clean and safe, value for money, book with confidence.
3.5
Good location & great value for money. Suzy ultra helpful, especially on the complex parking arrangements.
Could do with a bit of TLC, e.g. bed slats on double bed missing - luckily there was only one person sleeping in it. Had to make up a third bed but easily found the clean linen. Passageway a bit creepy - needs motion sensitive lights. Missing light bulbs - dining table, no spares. A welcome set of tea bags, coffee, milk would have been a nice touch.
4.5
Lovely property, great for walking into Norwich.Quiet area and Suzy is so helpful.
Perfect residents carpark 50 yards away.

Comfortable and clean accommodation, home from home. Rooms and beds were very comfortable and spacious.
There were only two towels at the property and there were three of us. The bathroom shower leaked a lot of water from the main unit? No frying pan only big sauce pans? No hand towl in the bathroom either?

Previously, my family and I have stayed in hotels. This was our first self-catering experience and we were primarily looking to save money compared with a bed/breakfast hotel arrangement and eating out. In that sense, it was a great success - we saved about 50% on the overall cost of the holiday, and the property was located close to shops, public car parks and was ideal for access to either the city centre or outskirts.
Entering the property is achieved by a tiny alleyway some distance to the left and it looks dangerous (narrow, dark, unwelcoming...), so my family waited for me to go first. But once around the back and inside the property, it was a pleasant welcoming atmosphere - the house was clean and tidy and attractive and clearly some effort was made to made it as presentable as possible, given its age and quality. Once I'd unpacked and got over the annoyance of the parking fine, we were happy.
I would definitely do this sort of thing again. But would I do it at this property? Yes, with reservations - I would be happy to stay at this property again, because it was fairly spacious and clean and a decent price, and knowing what to expect I would bring my own bed linen, cutlery, frying pan and can opener and I would just head straight for the nearest public car park without wasting my time chasing for a permit.
When I first made the booking, about a month earlier, the offer of a parking permit was made, to allow parking directly outside the property. I indicated that I would like to take advantage of this offer. I didn't receive any follow up. About a day before arrival, I received a helpful message with information about how to access the property and a further offer of a parking permit. Again, I indicated I would like the permit. Again, no follow up. On arriving at the property, I thought perhaps the permit had been sorted out, so I parked outside, and within 30 minutes or so received a penalty charge fine from a warden. Thanks.
There's a long list of items the property DOES have, listed in the advertising, but I feel it would have been helpful to also state common items it doesn't have, for clarity. For example, I wasn't expecting a freezer (since the list didn't specify one) but I HAD expected the fridge to at least feature an ice box. There wasn't one. There wasn't a frying pan either, just pots and pans. There WAS a can opener which barely worked. Maybe you can live without ice-cream for dessert, but for a cooked breakfast in the morning you really need a frying pan and a working can opener. There WAS a huge selection of plates and glasses, but the cutlery was so thin and light it could have been from a toy set.
As for the rest of the house, the staircase to the upstairs is EXTREMELY steep, with narrow steps. I don't remember seeing a warning about this. The pressure in the shower is very weak, but there IS plenty of hot water. The WiFi worked perfectly on the first two days, but didn't work at all on the third day. There IS a nice TV, and a selection of books and board games, perhaps to compensate for the dodgy WiFi. We only seemed to have linen on the double bed and one of the singles. The other two singles had no sheets or pillow cases at all.
3.5
good location, easy walk into town.
mattresses really need updating and could do with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, like a frying pan and not enough cutlery.
4.5
Fantastic location for everything Norwich has to offer, easy walking distance into the centre.
Host Suzi was very friendly and helpful letting me get the place ready for a birthday surprise.
Fantastic weekend all round.
The shower could do with its pressure fixing and the kitchen could do with a deep clean.
5.0
Great location and a lovely, home from home, vibe about the place. The city pad was clean and very well presented. Suzanne was helpful and all communication was clear.
4.5
cosy
heating easy to control via wall thermostat in living room but equally was very warm especially as I had my elderly mother with me who gets cold easily-she said it was lovely
beds are very comfortable
Dining area off kitchen making it easy to cook and be part of the family all at the same time
I will be back -I come to Norwich at least 10 times a year and this place is perfect for what we want
Nothing about the house -it was lovely
I would advise if you planning a big cook like Xmas dinner bring additional utensils because I suspect the usual visitors would use this as a perfect base for the city so not cooking on a big scale but hey , it’s not a problem for normal stay needs .I would usually be eating out on this kind of stay as it’s so close to everything city centre .
Spar 2min walk away has mainly all you would want from a small supermarket Neighbour was out like a weathercock banging the bins making it very clear parking wasn’t allowed but I explained we had been given good advice by the host so not to worry -one of those things that the host can’t police so just smile 😀
also stairs are steep ( normal for houses in this part of Norwich)so if any issues with climbing stairs think carefully-bathroom is down stairs
again Mother coped at aged 80 so not that bad
4.5
The place is very homely and lovely. it’s fully equip with basic kitchen need and washing machine provided.
the only issue is no toilet on upstairs which is quite inconvenient.
3.5
Beautiful house with lovely furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped especially as we wanted to eat out and only wanted toast for breakfast and warmed up M&S takeaway one evening.
Because of our ages we really needed a bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms. Having to go downstairs in the night disturbed every one's sleep. Also there was no indication at the very beginning that there was no car parking close to the property and getting a space on the road was a bit of a lottery.
4.5
Quiet location, nicely furnished with a great dining table we could sit round and enjoy the craic.

Good size
Had house to yourself
Walking distance to city centre
Easy to access property with key safe
could have been cleaner ( dirty sock down side of single bed )
Bathroom needs updating
Sofa needs a deep clean or replacing
Old Stains on bedding on double bed
Not the most desirable area street looks rundown

Charming house - very comfortable
Couldn’t get hot water from kitchen tap

Good location for us. Long stay parking just around the corner. Clean and tidy with good facilities and comfy bed.Good communication from host. Would definately use again.
Seating in lounge tired looking could be updated to match the rest of the decor. Shower cubicle very small.
4.0
House lovely, clean felt homely...
There wasn't any hot water to be able to wash up. Also had to pay for parking
3.0
proximity to city centre
The lies about free private parking!!
5.0
Beautiful well thought out decor (perhaps in need of updating sofas) had absolutely everything we could need and more. Comfortable beds, lovely bedding, and great value. We could walk into the city from here, and there are convenient stores & takeaways nearby.
We could only get one channel on TV as controller didn’t work (we did not communicate this to the owner at the time as we weren’t in urgent need, so can not fault them on that part). As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep, but this can not change, just bear it in mind. It would not put us off staying again. Property area doesn’t look the best, but we had no trouble.
