Definitely suits the name! Snug & cozy, modern yet yesteryear charm in furnishings. All the extra condiments, cleaners & breakfast provided on check in. Loved the tranquil privacy so close to town.

Great location. Private, calm. Very cute, cosy décor. Very well equipped property & clear, welcoming instructions . Will definitely recommend this property to others. A little gem!

The only thing was there was no waste bin in bathroom!

Very quaint and cosy house, although we needed the heat pump on 24/7 in June to keep the winter chill at bay. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked and good condition. Great location - able to walk to work. Owner provided excellent instructions. Appreciated the breakfast items provided.

The lock box was hard to reach for a shorter person - required standing on a chair which would be dangerous for anyone with mobility issues - luckily my husband is tall. Also had trouble with the rear gate bolt dropping down and getting stuck in the deck. Property is south-facing so lacks sunshine (except in garden, which would be nice for summer.)

We loved our stay here. Very cute little place. Handy to town. Everything you need.

A lovely surprise to find the extent of the first day breakfast; super comfortable place to stay, trendy furnishing and beds very comfortable with lovely linen. weather prevented us from using the outdoor area but could see that we would have really enjoyed using the outdoor space. A private spot, close to the many amenities of Hawkes Bay

I was advised that the off street parking area wasn't that welcoming and we took the advise and used the side street to park the car- the back area was tight and cramped with rubbish (probably blown in off the street) in the corner however that didn't distract from our stay at the Sung.

location was spot on , once we got the layout of the streets , the snug was well set up as usual ,

at night the street is getting busier and at peak traffic times

The house was lovely, and basically had everything a family would need while away on a holiday. Fantastic location - close and central to everything. It was private and secure with an alarm that was easy to enable/disable. We appreciated the starter breakfast of eggs, bread, and milk - thank you! It was great to have air-conditioning, especially in the summer. We arrived earlier than the check in time (3pm), and Mike was easy about it. Thanks for letting us crash early! Checkout at 11am was great and meant that our teenagers had plenty of time to sloth about and get ready in the morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

1. I wasn't too stoked about having to take a week's worth of other people's rubbish out. Our stay fell on both Wednesday (Recycling) and Thursday (Rubbish). There were 3 crates of recycling that need to be taken out... and then again brought back in. One of the crates was full of empty beer bottles. We already do this at home, and it isn't something you expect to do when you're on holiday. Especially not other folks' stuff 🤷‍♀️ 2. Parking at the back of the property was less than ideal. The space was shared with the neighbours. It was tight and looked a bit rough and unkempt. Had we not had an EV that we needed to charge overnight, we would have parked on the main road (as Mike suggested). Now I'm just nitpicking here... 3. The closets were used as storage and were filled with other stuff, so space was limited. 4. The pillows were uncomfortable - but ONLY BECAUSE I personally don't like feathers poking me. My husband liked them 😊 5. Could use some bedside lamps. Main bedroom had 1, and the 2nd bedroom had none. 6. We ran out of bog roll on our last night, which happened to be New Year's Eve. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. While there were 4 rolls to start with, they were single-ply. In theory, it should have been enough... But with 3 females in the house, it ran short 😂 Plus, my teenagers didn't tell me ahead of the shops closing! 7. The butcher's block/island (though beautiful) was too big for the space in the kitchen.

Mike sent precise instructions on location and key collection. The Snug had everything you needed and more. Appreciated the starter breakfast in the fridge. Very secure with locked gates front and back - lovely and private outside too.

Nothing to note really as all was great - plenty of parking outside - although couldn't park at the back of the property

The Snug is a very cute place, and in good location. Beds were really comfortable and has all the amenities you need. Loved how there was bread,milk and eggs in the fridge on arrival

The only thing I didn't like was only realising the pots were in the wooden island 2 days later haha but luckily we weren't doing much cooking there before that 😁
