À deux heures de l’aéroport de Goa, l’hotel est niché au cœur de la jungle, et j'ai particulièrement apprécié la végétation environnante. Divisé en deux parties de part et d'autre de la rue, la section hôtel est bien entretenue, avec un restaurant magnifique où le petit déjeuner, bien que payant, est délicieux. Malgré l'absence d'air conditionné, cela n'a pas été un problème, car les nuits étaient fraîches, voire froides. L’hôtel propose un cours de yoga à 9h00 tous les jours, payante. En Palolem vous trouverez des cours de yoga facilement mais c’est pratique de le faire à l’hôtel.

Cependant, le prix de la tranquillité implique de faire face à de nombreux moustiques. La partie hostel semble un peu négligée, avec des lacunes telles que l'absence de papier toilette et des interruptions fréquentes d'électricité et wifi. Bien que la cuisine commune soit spacieuse, je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de l'utiliser. La plage adjacente à l'hôtel Colomb ne présente aucun intérêt, préférant celle de Palolem à 15 minutes de marche. Les restaurants et bars sont également du côté la plage de Palolem, le trajet ne compte avec d'éclairage dans la rue, et très peu des commerces rendant les sorties nocturnes peu attrayantes. Les lockers dans la chambre se révèlent inutiles, car la réception a perdu progressivement les clefs des serrures, donc pas possible de les utiliser. Mon lit superposés était particulièrement difficile à escalader, sans barre de sécurité. Les toilettes sont situées en bas, tandis que les chambres se trouvent à l'étage. J’ai trouvé le prix élevé cependant il s’agissait d’un longe week-end.

+ The reception team (Ram) and all the team restaurant and other workers here are really nice. + I felt safe as travelling alone + The place is friendly and original location for a quiet time, including both dorms and double rooms. I initially booked a dorm with booking and extended my stay to a double room afterwards. Mostly stayed in the place, did not go outside + The food is vegan in line with the location spirit and really super good (even if I am not a vegan). Restaurant price is in the average acceptable for quality that is amazingly good, hopefully it does not get higher in the future to keep the willingness to stay here. + yoga classes everyday + lovely people work and leave there too, which makes a particular atmosphere as a village + not to far from the beach through a forest path

- if you are backpack travelling, you need to walk a little bit from the bus stop of Palolem so try to arrive early morning or after 4pm to avoid hot weather but worth the location - some mice or squirrel dejection in the room shelves and they ate one of my bag containing gifts for friends; but the place being literally merged inside nature so I don't think they can really prevent it. So I locked my stuffs and bags the next days in the given locker box. -> I was not paid for this comment, ahah! :)

The food was amazing and the staff and everyone working here is beyond friendly and gives a very positive vibe as soon as you enter the location. It's serene and feels like home

The food is absolutely mouth watering. And the checkin check-out was smooth. And it goes without saying the location exceeds the expectation I had after seeing the pictures.

Location was a good getaway with access to multiple beaches. Loved the sounds of the birds and the bugs in the morning. Staff very friendly. Great jackfruit wine - brought back multiple bottles. Ayurvedic massage was nice as well

Very buggy, got lots of bites. Internet range was limited from my unit, so I couldn't get it on my phone. No sunshine that hit my hut location. many nearby restaurants closed this time of year (june)

Beautiful location and people. Such a great place, the rooms were clean and comfy, the restaurant food is delicious and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely be back :)
