Sunset Cottage on Lake Pistakee
Entfliehen Sie der Schönheit der Chain O'Lakes, um das Wochenende oder einen längeren Aufenthalt am Lake Pistakee zu verbringen. Genießen Sie unser Ferienhaus am Westufer mit ausreichend Betten für 6 Personen. Unser Haus ist der perfekte Ort, um alles zu genießen, von Angeln und Wassersport bis zu Restaurants und Nachtleben und sogar Schneemobilfahren und Skifahren im Winter. Oder vielleicht ist es ohne Grund, nur um am See zu entspannen und die atemberaubende Aussicht zu genießen.
Unser Haus befindet sich am Ende einer abgelegenen Fahrt mit Parkplatz für 2 Fahrzeuge. Einheit 4 befindet sich den Hügel hinunter und ist am nächsten zum Seeufer. Es gibt eine Außenterrasse mit einem Gasgrill und 2 Tische und Stühle für 8 Personen, perfekt für Unterhaltung und Essen.
Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet ... Töpfe, Pfannen, Teller, Schüsseln, Tassen, Besteck, Mixer, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Herd und Geschirrspüler. Die Küche hat auch Tischbestuhlung für 6 Personen und einen kleinen Stehtisch.
Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen 60-Zoll-Fernseher mit Kabel- und DVD-Player sowie ein Schlafsofa, 2 Stühle und einen herrlichen Blick auf den See.
Die 2 Schlafzimmer verfügen über einen eigenen TV, Kabel-und DVD-Player und sind mit einem Doppelbett, Kommode und Stauraum ausgestattet.
Das Badezimmer ist eine Badewanne und eine Dusche.
Eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner befinden sich im Keller und können je nach Bedarf genutzt werden.
Es gibt kostenloses Wifi / Internet für Ihren Besuch und Parkplätze für 2 oder mehr Autos, Boot / Motorschlitten und 1 kostenlosen Boot Slip, falls erforderlich.

everything was fine but 2 fishing rods, a chair and a fishing net were stolen

The pictures and description online make no mention of the restaurant/bar next door, that played very loud music until 3am the Friday night of our arrival. 6 people in their 20's, patrons of the establishment called Famous Freddies, were drinking and yelling next to our parked car, which was 10 feet away from my bedroom window, at 1am. Next morning the property manager Jessica informed that yes, but they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were there for 1 week, so that was little relief. I also asked her prior to our arrival if the quality of the lake water was high enough to make it safe to swim in the lake. Her response was "many poeple do it". The lake water was a thick green pea soup texture and rotten smell, loaded with large geese excrements floating around. A dozen of these large and loud geese stayed in the lawn area between the house and the lake, permanently, making it impossible to enjoy the outside of the property. The saucepans provided in the kitchen were dirty and rusted. This place is only good for teenagers wanting to party with the people next door. It ruined our vacation.

I have rented this property to propose to my girlfriend. The host Jessica was super welcoming, I talked to her about decorations and the stuff that I want to set up and she completely fine with it, and made it easy for me for the entire process and stay. The place looks dreamy and my proposal was perfect, I couldn't be anymore happier about. The property itself is so amazing, beautiful, quite, by the water, and you have tons of spaces to be at in the property. The views are absolutely amazing, and there's a nice restaurant right next door, and not to mention that the owner will recommend the places that you can go to. At the end the whole experience was 10/10 and I would highly recommend this property and the host will make your stay easy and memorable.

We enjoyed our stay at this lakefront house, especially our morning coffee out on the deck looking at the lake. The house was located not far from restaurants and other small towns. Jessica was very helpful with giving us suggestions of things to do, restaurants in the area, and helped with connecting the television. We definitely are thinking of staying again and perhaps renting the other three houses with family and friends next year.

Wonderful
My college bestie and I have started doing a short girls weekend and this area is the half point for both of us. We had a great time at this place. The lawn area is shared with 3 other cabins that I believe the owners own as well. Not a huge problem for us at all. There are two fire pits that you are able to use. It rained all day that we were there, but we watched a few movies in the morning and then the tv didn’t want to work any more, so we went out to explore. We traveled to Antioch and the Lake Geneva both are very cute towns with great shops!! If you enjoy shopping check those out. The bar next door on Friday nights has a band playing until 8 and then the dance club. It wasn’t that bad or loud, but bring an extra fan or ear plugs if you think you need them. Overall, we would suggest this place.

Charming, Inviting, Comfy Home
This was our first time staying in someone's home. We have always used hotels. I was a bit nervous. But Jessica, our VRBO host was amazing and put me at ease.
The home was roomy, clean, comfy, well appointed with furniture and kitchen supplies. Best of all, the house was right on the lake front. We woke to beautiful mornings with the fog lifting as the days warmed. We will use VRBO for future travel. This was a real pleasure. Thank you!

Stayed at Fox Lake cottage to attend a local wedding. House met our needs. Beautiful view of the lake. Appreciated touches like full length mirror and board games. Restaurant next door is a bit loud at night but we were there Friday and Saturday.

Sunset Cottage
The overall experience was fantastic! It was only about 40 minutes away from our home but felt like a Wisconsin get away. With being right on the water to enjoy some fishing to relaxing around the big fire pit in the evening. With also having a cottage with modern and up to date amenities this place hasn’t disappointed either of the 2 times we have visited! Thank you Jessica!

Great location
We had a great time staying in this lake front cottage. Being so close to the water was very relaxing and peaceful. Lots to do close by if you didn't want to hang by the lake the whole time. The cottage is well stocked with kitchen items, linens and towels. Recommend this place and will be returning next summer!

2 day getaway
Was nice to get away from the city for a couple of days at this cottage on Pistakee Lake. Great location close to the water with good views of the sunset and sunrise. Areas of the house could have been cleaned better including dusty air vents. Great that good restaurants were nearby.

Great getaway!
Wonderfully clean and comfortable little house! Great deck and beautiful view. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Would be good for 4 if you're really good friends! Only drawback was the bar next door had an outdoor band that was rockin ' til the wee hours! Good air conditioner and solid windows made this a minor problem. Jessica was very courteous and responsive. Highly recommend!

Had another great experience up at the lake. The only problem we had was that they have a smaller fridge in the house we stayed in and wouldn’t keep anything cold for us. Thankfully we had friends staying in another house so we moved everything up to their place. Besides that, great stay!!!
