Really great location if you want immediate access to tons of restaurant and bars, as well as the Waterloo Station for Trains and Underground which is a 2min walk away. This is the perfect location if you want to explore the bar scene of Waterloo ! Big Ben was also literally a 10min walk away. Room itself is spacious enough with good kitchen equipment/utensils to warm up, and store food. There is even a dishwasher which is handy. Bathroom had everything you need and a good shower. The bed is incredibly comfortable !

Be warned, the window (which does not open) is not very sound proof and you can hear the pub-dwellers downstairs right through until the pubs close in the early hours of the morning . Ear plugs suggested if you are a light sleeper. The TV has a very basic selection of channels, and does not include any sports channels or even Sky News, so having Netflix or a streaming service on your laptop is highly suggested. Not a deal breaker but if you are planning on watching TV, it could be an issue. The location of the TV also means you can only really watch it by lying down or sitting on the bed. There is no on-site maintenance teams, or reception, so while you can get held of someone quite quickly via email or messaging service, you do have to wait for someone to come from off-site to provide assistance if something breaks or doesn't work - in this case, issues with the power sockets/tv and had to wait 2 days for someone to come out as it was a weekend and nobody could assist.

The facilities were very good and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for my business needs. The communication with the hotel was great too.

I read the previous reviews and knew it’d be noisy. As I planned to stay for a few nights only, I deliberately chose location over quietness. The reality is that it’s extremely noisy and one can only sleep when no trains are scheduled (seemed like 0:30-5:30), occasional noises from the street would wake you up too. The facility seems to have constructed no soundproof system at all. One should manage their expectations booking this hotel.

The size of the room was great. Felt safe- the apartments are located through a restaurant/bar which meant there were several doors to navigate which made me feel secure. Apartment was clean and had the amenities I needed ( I didn't use the kitchen though) location central

Being right next to the train station means it can be quite load.

Facilities are sufficient. Bed comfortable. Location is convenient.

The check-in process is disastrous. Check-in message sent to booking.com did not contain the relevant link. As an unmanned property, the check-in information arrived too late. The only digital keypad lock made me feel unsafe. It would be better to install a lock at the inner door and have the key(card) inside the room. The safe is not working. The microwave is located a bit high, where any liquid on a plate is easily spilled out when you cannot actually look at the plate.

Location for going out in London was good and nice bars, places to eat, on the same street. Very close to station so train noise was constant but no bother at night.

A few annoying things, door to enter building was stuck and hard to open, one of the drawers fell off and some plug sockets didn’t work! Didn’t affect stay but just be nice if we hadn’t had to report them.

Well designed , modern and cosy accommodation in a convenient location in a vibrant and central area. Comfortable bed. Great shower.

A small issue with broken hinges of the cupboard door for bin area - so access to bin was difficult.

I stay regularly at Stowaway. The room is comfortable with good facilities.

Ideally. D like the hot plate returning to the room so cooking is more flexible than reverting to the microwave. Small thing though. Stow at need to fix their emails as the links for check in and check out haven’t worked for months. Which is frustrating trying to get the door codes.

The location is really convenient. The rooms are very comfortable. It feels very safe. Will stay here again if i visited london again.

Nothing, it’s fun, it’s just a good hideaway

Good location, with lots of food and drink options in the area. Online check in was very straightforward with ease of just codes for the doors. Room had all we needed and useful to have option of food prep although we didn't use.

The bed was a bit awkward as it is the full width of the room so you have to climb in from the bottom, this also meant the sheet kept getting untucked. Not really a room to spend time in, as no comfy seating, but wasn't an issue as we really just used it to sleep. The automatic light in the bathroom was a bit annoying in the night.

We liked to size ,comfort, and location of this hotel. We also liked the convenience of having some dishes,refrigerator, and laundry available. The bar (when open) in the entry is also a nice option. We also enjoyed all the restaurants and bars on the street next to the hotel.

There was t anything that we didn’t like.

Big bed. Spacious for London circumstances. Close to public transport. It is a self-contained facility without any people present, but the online check in works well.

The train tracks of Waterloo run directly behind the facility. There is hardly any noise insulation. The noise is hard to bear. To make matters worse, there is some sort of unit in the room, like a fan or a generator, in the ceiling making an additional loud noise. This can be switched off with the main power switch, but then u have no electricity and can’t charge your phone over night. Luckily the A/C runs independently off that, so at least u won’t suffocate. The interior is nice enough but pretty run down by now. Some liquid stains on the walls. There was mold in the shower. The shower drain was almost blocked. After a minute of showering u have to stop and wait for the water to slowly be drained. The tiles in the shower were stained. The insulation panel of the shower knobs came off the wall, so water must run down the wall behind it. (A small catastrophe in the making.)There were fingernail cut offs from the last guests still on the bathroom shelf. The loud noise alone make this a non-recommendation. All the other things not in order break the deal completely. Absolutely not worth the money.

Nothing much But note that the noise from the train is very loud. I sleep with ear plugs in hôtels so it wasn’t an issue, but light sleepers will struggle

Location was amazing, the room was spotless and very well equipped. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the shower was very good.

Train station behind was very loud, some sound deadening on the door and walls would make a big difference.

Everything was excellent; from the location to the comfort and price, all was spotless.

One downside is that it's close to the metro so you'll hear some noises. However, to us at least, it wasn't that annoying.

Has everything you need for a couple of nights. Close to good restaurants and attractions. It is right next to Waterloo train station, so bare this in mind as it's very noisy during train running times.

We turned up to find the fire brigade at the property who were unable to say if it was safe to stay. It was not a good start! The room was dusty and could have been cleaner. Flat pillows. Water in dishwasher very smelly.
