Right at the beach - we swam during the sunrise and two dolphins were beside us one morning. Lovely. But the house was not as clean as we would’ve liked. For example, when we pulled out the sofa bed, underneath was dirty and there was obvious trash there - it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Also, the grill is tiny and the charcoal had been left out - it must’ve been rained on because it wouldn’t light. We had to improvise. The good thing is that there was ample kitchenware for us to move the cookout inside. Also - the washer and dryer were great. The woman who runs the property is really nice and accommodating - she answered our questions happily. Unfortunately, we left a hat there that had special meaning but didn’t hear back when we asked about it. We would’ve paid to have it shipped to us. We wouldn’t rent the property again but still had a nice time.

We’ve been staying at Clearwater beach for nearly 30 years and this has been our favorite house Yet. Everything was perfect for us.

Awesome little beach cottage! Very clean, and just off of the beach. Really enjoyed the small pizza place directly across the street as well. Communication prior to arrival was excellent with Jenn as well!!! Would love to say here again!!

Place is really cute, well kept, thoughtful in amenities for guests (directions how to do everything, enough places to store/hang clothes, towels). Layout is perfect for a couple or friend with two separate bedrooms and dedicated bath.

What an amazing place! Everything was comfortable from the beach chairs to the beds-including a comfortable pull out couch! The cottage is so well appointed, so many wonderful details that made it feel like home. Love the game cabinet and appreciated the beach wagon. Not that it’s a far walk for the beach! Everything was just convenient (minus groceries stores being far but that has nothing to do with this sweet cottage.) The kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals (get all groceries before heading over the bridge) and tons of space to feed friends at that great table and bench. So helpful with our crazy check in times due to flight changes. Wonderful hosts! Thank you for helping our family make wonderful memories!

A short holiday weekend at a perfect cottage near the beach. Couldn’t have asked for more. Jenn was amazingly helpful with communication — so appreciative of that. And the cottage is exactly as described and shown. Will definitely be back!

This was our 2nd visit to this VRBO and loved it just as much as the first time. The host is an excellent communicator, the house is about a 10 second walk to the beach and the house is very comfortable. Great, all the way around!

It was within walking distance to beach, shopping and plalces to eat. We were even able to walk to pier 60.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach cottage. It was beautiful and quite clean. The property owner was kind and thoughtful as well. The proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants was incredible. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Very Charming beach cottage!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Sea Shell cottage! What a great find! We flew in for a family reunion for 30+ people.
The cottage was very cozy, charming & cute! Linens were soft and both beds comfortable. The Kitchen was stocked with everything except for a few “chip clips”. The beach is a few steps away…Beach toys & umbrellas provided. Although the umbrellas will need to be replaced soon. Our family members who visited during our stay were extremely complimentary of the property & plan to book in the near future. The location is just perfect! I wish we could have toured the other cottages during our stay.
Location, location, location!!! We were able to walk to everything within a mile. Great restaurants everywhere! The added bonus is the family owned pizza place across the street! Perfect for the teenagers who are always “hungry “ after repeated daily visits to the beach. Our extended family rated the menu 8/10 stars.
Did I mention there was plenty of outdoor seating available for your morning coffee/tea or sunset glass of wine to unwind from your day.
Check out is 10am. 11am would have been a better time for my family.
Jennifer the property owner is accessible and friendly. We cannot wait to visit Clearwater beach in the near future! We are definitely staying at this cottage again!!! Overall rating 9.5 out of 10.

The location of the cottage couldn't have been better. On the quieter north side of the island, steps from the beach, couldn't ask for more.
The only thing keeping this from 5 stars was the cleaniness of the cottage itself. The inside smelled a bit like smoke and there were a few too many stray hairs laying around for our liking. Nothing a quick wipe down didn't fix, but it seemed like the cleaning people could have done a bit better in between visitors.
All that being said, Jenn was helpful leading up the trip and the trip itself was fantastic. We would definitely consider renting this cottage again!

We came for a short beach trip from our spring break visiting grandparents in The Villages. It is all categories of what you want: location, amenities, safe; cleanliness. Would recommend without hesitation.

The Seashell cottage was was defiently one of the best places we have ever rented. The owner was very helpful and accomodating and the cottage was perfect for our family of four. The location is great and the beach very close and beautiful..We were able to walk to the restaurants . In spite of disappointing weather we were able to have a nice time. We highly recommend this rental and hope to return

Had a wonderful time, loved the cottage. Excellent location, clean and great amenities. Beautiful decor, amazing kitchen! Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, coolers, lots of beach towels, awesome washer and dryer. Literally 100 feet from the gulf! Wonderful pizza place across the street. Will definitely be coming back!
