The property was really big and had a lot of things to offer. The pool was really clean and nice! We enjoyed the stay very much! It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious and enough for two people. The owner was really nice and was recommending us a lot.

Beautiful property with authentic houses in rural surroundings and a fantastic host, "landlord Nicolas" ;). We felt special at this cosy place, surrounded by fruit trees, chicken and other animals and a beautiful pool to swim in. The engagement of the accommodation owner and the price and quietness of the location. The pool is very nice and with pets and chickens moving freely around do make it a chill place to relax and wind down.

Discrepancy between information on booking.com and reality. Where this led to an initial disappointment at arrival it was quickly solved by the owner to mutual satisfaction

Splendid location and surroundings. It's a fascinating property and set of villages near Troyes, Chaource, and Chablis. Nicholas is a wonderful chap, but rather over-stretched; he needs a factotum to iron out the practical minutiae of the gites. The chickens, cat, dog and gardens are a delight. Nicholas should stay in the house for a weekend himself each spring to get an idea of the strengths and weaknesses there are!

It was the wettest coldest May ever, so must have been hard to prepare the property for the season this year. So some things weren't ready. Inside: Pillow quantity, kitchen equipment, oven, water scalding, the leak in one room, awkward front door. Breakfast rather small for 4 people. The bathroom was just about okay for 4 of us (one toilet only). Outside: Pool heater broken, rather untended structural surroundings.

We loved the feeling of the property Nicholas was an excellent host who provided an excellent stay We will return!

Lovely French gîte in a quiet area featuring a unique, 700-year old building. All the facilities are there, with a good pool, table tennis, bbq, games, etc. Host Nicolas is fantastic and very welcoming. Nice breakfast. 20 min drive to Troyes which is a great town. Supermarket at 6km.

Pool surroundings are a little bit messy. Also, pool could do with a few more beds.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was HUGE! There was lots of outdoor space for the kids to play and to relax. The gite we stayed in was very comfortable. We will surely come back. Thank you Nicolas en Lawrence.

It was a little too far off for what we had planned to do so we did a lot of driving. Next time we plan to just sit back and enjoy the the property:)
