Spacious comfortable rooms and fabulous food, both breakfast and evening meals were excellent value for money

Spacious comfy room and great breakfasts

Unfortunately The Plough restaurant was closed during our 3 day stay due to staff sickness which meant having to drive to find somewhere to eat each evening. It was a real shame as we would have loved to have eaten there if their great breakfasts were anything to go by.

Fantastic location and the restaurant was excellent. We looked forward to the breakfasts and evening meal ever day. The staff were always very helpful and friendly.

no Adnams Broadside in the pub, the choice of vegetarian dishes were limited and there wasn’t much choice on the menu, a little overpriced

Spotlessly clean accommodation simply but comfortably furnished with cloaks,large bedroom room plus bathroom with separate bath and shower.

As ground floor room was disappointed and concerned at not being able to lock windows open at night time during heatwave.

What did we like? Absolutely EVERYTHING. This is a first-class venue and there is nothing one can criticise in any way. The accommodation was brilliant, the staff were warm and welcoming, the food was superb and we would definitely return just as soon as we have the opportunity.

Excellent all round

The Plough is very well located, it was easy to find being on the main A12 and very close to local sightseeing spots such as Southwold and Aldeburgh. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy their work. The room was clean and comfortable and included all the facilities we required. The pub (and the local area) is very dog-friendly and the bar area with log burner is a lovely cosy place to sit and enjoy a nice pint of Adnams.

We have no negatives to report, it was a lovely weekend away and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
