This beachhouse is absolutely amazing. We can highly recommend this stay here and will definitely come back. Gretel was super friendly and very professional also. Black Sand beach directly in front of the yard, beautiful sunsets, nice waves for surfing. Softboards could be in a better condition only. Thanks for having us.

People amazing, view stunning, food excellent no really it has been such a great time. We wanted to stay just a couple days and ended up staying 2 weeks

The most awesome Austrian chicas who host you are the most friendly and welcoming. I felt personally invited the moment I walked through the door greeted by the warm sunset in the hostel. They invited me to eat dinner with them and had a lovely welcome cervesa. Couldn't be closer to the waves either. I had a short stay but we all went for a morning sunrise surf and then had a fabulous (included) breakfast. Decent price for a dorm room and only shared with two other lovely ladies. You are lucky to stay in paradise if you stay here off the end of the beaten path in El Transito!

The environment and scenery was spectacular

It’s hard for a car to access the driveway with large rocks and grooves. We almost got stuck

The staff was great, food is good, and the view is just amazing. Also great wifi. I really liked the family diner every night, especially taco night

The only bad thing i could say is the beds we’re not so comfortable and there was only two fans for 5 beds, so it got a little toasty at night. But really, great place and i would still recomend !

Beautiful place to enjoy some quite moments right next to the beach (and surf spot). You can take surf lessons (great teacher! Classes cost around 30$) and there is yoga in the mornings and/or for sunset (8$). They can also arrange trips if you want to (volcano hikes, León, Masaya,...). The owner is a really nice girl from Austria, who is still working on building up the place and making it even nicer. The whole atmosphere feels really familiar and you will always receive help if need. We also did a lot of things together, like having dinner at a local place in the village, going for a sunset beer in the tide pool or hiking the nearby little hill. Breakfast is included (everyday something else) and for lunch you have different options to purchase (mainly vegetarian and also vegan meals). Everything I tried was really good (I recommend the oreo iced coffee!). There is a refill station for drinking water that is included. I had a great time and will definitely come back :)
