We loved the location, the accommodations and the pool. The proximity to downtown Saugatuck, Douglas and Oval Beach was excellent and the staff welcoming and friendly. The climb wasn't ideal but we could not have asked for better view of the river and downtown Saugatuck from the pool. It was breathtaking and the perfect place for a nightcap before turning in each night. We cannot wait to book our next stay.

My wife and I stayed over a long weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary. This place was perfect. It was clean, awesome pool, nearly brand new grill, and a stone’s throw from Oval Beach and downtown Saugatuck. All staff and guests we encountered were extremely friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time we look to vacation in the area.

My family of four had a great time at Holiday Hill. Didn’t really expect such a fabulous location from pictures online. Its literally on the Kalamazoo river, across the river from very trendy eateries like the Barge, Mermaid. The rooftop pool was usually just used by my family. We had drinks on the rooftop patio watching the boats on the river, could often hear live music from across too. Very clean, friendly staff, easily exceeded expectations in every way!

Holiday Hill has officially become our happy place. We celebrate our sons end of school with a stay as this amazing place. It is a perfect kick off to the start of summer. We look forward to it every year!

Absolutely wonderful first time stay! We will be back. The property is lovely. 1 bed we rented was great for our family. The pool was beautiful and fun! My kids didn't want to leave. Perfect location to get to Oval Beach or take the chain ferry across to downtown! We loved it. Can't wait to come back.

This property is beautiful. The outlook to the river is breathtaking. Right across the street from the chain ferry for easy access to downtown and right down the street from Oval Beach. Inside of the unit was super clean. Great COVID procedures as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We have really enjoyed our weekend stay at Holiday Hill. Beautiful little community tucked into the wooded area just off Lake Michigan in Saugatuck. The condo is an easy trek to Oval Beach or short walk to the Mt. Baldhead Park steps. Due to Covid, we have not been able to enjoy pool swimming all summer. We took advantage of the heated outdoor pool and swam every day of our stay - even on a cooler September weekend. The staff that helps maintain the Holiday Hill community was helpful and friendly. There was a miscommunication regarding the number of people in our party, but they responded to our requests quickly and apologized if it had caused any inconvenience for us. (It really hadn’t.) The condo is on the small side - ideal for a couple, but likely a little small for four big people. The kitchen is best purposed for small uncomplicated meals or reheating food. However, we were able to make three full meals during our stay. The pull out couch is like all pull out couches, a bit uncomfortable. The second night, we pulled the mattress off the frame and just put it directly on the floor. This made for a way better sleep for our kids. The restroom is on the small side, but the shower is very nice - big, clean and very good water pressure. The bathroom was outfitted with the necessary toiletries, hand towels and wash clothes. The kids have already asked if we could come back for another visit to Holiday Hill. Between the lake, the beach and the pool - it had everything they wanted for a fun Michigan weekend.

This was our third summer in Saugatuck, and our second year getting this very same room. The space is cozy and clean. The wooden stair steps are nostalgic and fun. The pool is great. The other guests are friendly. Right outside the door is the ferry, taking you to all shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Great time. We'll probably be back next August!

Loved our stay here. Check in process was easy and super friendly. Great pool area to relax while looking at the beautiful view. Accommodation nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy. Sofa bed was a sofa bed! It would benefit from a mattress topper (says teenage daughter)! Overall very happy with rental.

Pictures were accurate. Quiet little gem. Would definitely return.

Holiday Hill has the best location and view, overlooking the river and 3 minutes away from the beach. We were very happy with the unit and the staff.

My family and I enjoyed our accommodations at Holiday Hill! Our place was clean and enough room for the 4 of us with the pull out couch. The pool was great and had a terrific view of the river and downtown Saugatuck. Close To the beach and downtown. We’ll go back.

Great and cozy place in a perfect location. Such an awesome family getaway. Nick, the property owner, was super helpful and accommodating. The staff did a great job with sanitizing everything.
