It is really good place to stay in Kyoto. Very good location. Nice lobby, friendly personal. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a parking place before hotel. It’s very comfortable if you are planning to rent car.

The bed is a little bit hard, but you can ask for extra mattress and pillows. Unfortunately there is no restaurant for breakfast. But they have coffee machine. Coffee, tea, milk and water are available 24 hours.

The room smelled quite bad everytime we entered. They had an air suction system installed but that made a lot of noise (plus turned off if you left the room ). Also, the air suction+ fridge + cooling system made a lot of noise.

Great central location to most of the attractions and wonderful staff. Clean comfortable room. Easy access to transportation,bus and train stations!

The location was great. It was right near Kiyomizudera and many shopping streets. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable.

Every single store and restaurant near by closes at 6:00pm and does not open until around 11:00am. We had to walk around 30 minutes into Gion to find food.

very helpful & friendly staff. especially the spectacle gentleman. i should have asked for his name. nice rooftop view. convenient location. not far from Kyoto station, 5-10 mins by bus. very near to Kiyomizu-dera, only 5 mins walk

The view on the rooftop was great, the staff were really helpful and they spoke very great english, the room was clean and comfortable.

For my son the room was a little bit small but it wasn't as small as the last hotel we stayed in

Very clean rooms, lots of amenities, great location, and a wonderful kind staff that went out of their way to help me. They even let me check in a bit early since the room was already available:) The terrace was absolutely stunning too!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great as it's a short bus away from central Kyoto but close to temples and nice walks through old Kyoto.

There were no wardrobes/enough space to store all clothes which would have been nice but just may not be a thing in Japan I've noticed.

Clean hotel close to attractions of the town and well connected to take train and metro, services are all around with less than 300 Mt. Staff friendly and flexible ( we added an extra night and they Waited for us for check in at evening time

Location and service

Very accommodating staff. They were flexible changing our a twin room to double twin room with short notice with getting changed difference. They even offered us a couple of umbrellas to take them with us after checking out. So kind.

Excellent value: very close to Kiyomizu-dera, close to a station, and walking distance from many interesting locations. The room was particularly big and nice - this was the best value hotel of my three weeks in Japan!

The path to the hotel can get quite busy, as it is on the way to Kiyomizu-dera.

The gentleman who greeted us at the desk was exceptionally polite and friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, close to Kiyomizu temple, and the room was quite comfortable. Rooftop terrace had lovely views. Couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Kyoto.

There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.
