Our family rented this home for a wedding we had on the island. It was the perfect stay!! Very clean, close to the beach and not far from fresh fields! We will be renting again when we visit Kiawah!

This home was beautifully maintained and well equipped with all of our home needs. The home was so close to the beach and it was great to ride our bikes or just drive to the beach everyday. We highly recommend this home. The added bonus was it being pet friendly!

Our second stay in 12 months. Love proximity to the beach and that there are four bedrooms, each with their own bath. (Just one of the bathrooms actually "updated"). But what really needs updating are the beds. They are extra firm and old (one had a date of 1994). Family voted, and there would NOT be a third stay next year if the beds are the same. Found the place to be very clean when we arrived.

We were 3 couples who wanted a nice home to stay in while on Kiawah Island. This house fit the bill just perfectly. The house looked just like the pictures, the beach was a 5 minute walk away. All the rooms were clean, and inviting. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans.

We loved this property for my husband's birthday! Spacious bedrooms, everyone had their own bathroom, walking distance to Cougar Point Golf Course, Player's Pub and the beach. Large kitchen, great views from the sitting room and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed at this house 5 weeks, dating back to 2014. The remodeling that was done in the past few years helped update the fourth bedroom and bath. It's a long walk to the beach, and requires you to drive, drop off your beach gear, park again, and then walk/ride a bike to the beach. The house wasn't very clean, we ended up using the vacuum and had to unload the canister 4 times just with dog hair. The kitchen appliances are very dated, the couches in the living room need to be replaced badly, door knobs everywhere are falling apart, skylights are rotting out, and the floor is uneven. Plumbing issues, sinks in the updated bathroom function backwards, causing confusion, especially for a 5 year old! The grill still had the prior renters foil and fish remains on it, and barely worked. The house in 2014 was much better then it is today, it needs some major love. Won't rent this one again until the owners put some $$ into it, especially for the updated rental costs. Also, beware about the check-in time. It's not guaranteed, and caused us to have to wait over an hour (5pm) to come into a partially cleaned house. Not guaranteed check in time is not professional Vacasa.

The home we rented had plenty of room for 6 people. Overall, it was a nice place with plenty of room for gathering. However, the deck was a mess. The furniture was dirty and a bit unstable. That was the one set back since it would have been nice to sit out back after a day at the beach.

We stayed for a week in July 2022. Bottom line: we hope to return some day. The house was clean and in good shape. We found the beds to be comfortable. The large sofa in the living room was very worn, but comfortable. The house is in a nice setting with trees for shade and golf courses in view. It's a long walk to the beach (boardwalk 5) though: 970 yards, not the 700 yards that the listing states. There is a small parking lot at boardwalk 5 and some of us parked there. The kitchen was well stocked. There were some minor maintenance issues: the door for the hall bath could not be fully closed, the deadbolt on the front door was so hard to turn, we couldn't use it, and we had some problems getting consistent performance out of the gas grill. It was exciting, but unnerving, to see an 8' alligator walk through the yard on our second day.
The house was available for our use at 4 pm on our first day, but text messages from Vacasa the previous day told us that 4 pm use was not guaranteed. We were surprised by that so prior to booking again, we will make sure to find out what check-in time IS guaranteed.

Plenty of room for a large group
We were a group of six friends. The bedrooms and bathrooms were more than adequate with plenty of room for each couple. The location is very peaceful, relaxing and quiet with plenty of space for so that you never feel as if you are on top of each other all of the time. With the golf course on both sides of the property, there is the ability to sit outside and relax, take a nice walk, or go bike riding on the many bike paths in the area.
We had 1 or 2 small issues come into play and Ms. Jyl (property manager) was immediately responsive via phone and text. The house is adequately stocked with towels, appliances, and kitchen- and dishware. Having the clothes washer and dryer was a plus. There is a breakfast area that seats six, and a larger dining area for larger groups. Parking is more than adequate and the grounds are very natural. The home and yard area are very quiet with no outside noise.
Overall a great place to stay--with the understanding that you are about 55 minutes travel time to downtown Charleston and most of the sites one should like to visit. We took a day to go to Savannah--a two-hour drive from the home..
The shopping center on the island has everything one may want, with the Harris Tweeter supermarket one of the best. The selection of items is more than adequate, and their meat, fish, and delicatessen are excellent. We found their prices to be within reason--but be sure to note that the shopping center is always busy, but with adequate parking.
Overall, we couldn't have had better weather which added to a great vacation.

Great house - as advertised
Our family stayed in this home (9 adults) and really enjoyed it. The 4 bedrooms and 4 baths gave everyone privacy and comfort. Beds were very comfortable. Furniture and decor all updated and very nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Management team is very responsive. I noticed the outdoor grill propane tank was low, called them and they had a new tank delivered within an hour. We checked out and realized I my wallet on the room. The management team sent someone to the home, tracked it down to send to me. The home is a short bike ride to the beach or .4 mike walk. We had a great time.

Spacious - perfect for group
We had a group of 6 stay here for a wedding, and it was perfect. So many great sitting places, large bedrooms and bathrooms. Sauna was a great touch! 2 fridges was also quite helpful. We even had a last minute dog join us - Vacasa was very accommodating. Thanks for a great vacation.

Awesome Girls Weekend
We loved our stay in this villa. Lots of room for the 6 of us to spread out. Kitchen was well equipped. We were there for a tennis weekend and it rained almost the entire time but we played games and chilled. Very comfy furniture. Vacasa was very easy to deal with. Loved the inspector that was at the house when we arrived hoping for early check in. She allowed us in after her inspection and was perfectly adorable. Would definitely rent through Vacasa again and would most definitely stay in this villa again!!

The place was basically nice . The location was good. It has a very nice sun room.But it lack cleaning tools like a broom and a functioning mop. We found dirty and trash under the furniture. Lights would go on and off. We had to play with the outlets/plugs to get the lights to work. The laundry room was messy.

great house, but not well cleaned
This is a really great house - well-located, light, airy, spacious. Unfortunately, the management company needs to do much better with the cleaning. When we arrived, there was still sand and hair on the floor, food in the fridge and on the kitchen counter, and bags of dirty linens had been left by the cleaning service to be picked up. The local Vacasa office was responsive and sent someone to clean that night, but the cleaning job was still not great. The covered porch looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. When we let the Vacasa local office know it was still dirty, they sent another cleaner to come the following day- so they were responsive - but it was frustrating to have to spend the first couple days of our trip in a dirty house, working on getting it cleaned. We are now looking to rent again in Kiawah for this summer and we are leaning against renting from properties managed by Vacasa because we've noticed many reviews from other Vacasa-managed properties with similar issues regarding the cleaning. It's really too bad.

Great for a family trip!
My family had a great trip! The house was perfect for a family trip. The neighborhood was lovely! My only complaint is that it was not cleaned very well. There was still toothpaste in one of the sinks when we arrived. We had to also keep our luggage zipped go because there were some cockroaches. I would recommend this house for a family trip.

Great overall location
We vacationed with a variety of people and this place had something for everyone. My husband had a broken leg so the pond was perfect for him to walk to and he caught some local fish. I am a runner and loved the access to the biking/hiking trails. We all loved the .5 mile walk to the beach where we hung out daily. We did not see any gators but were visited by deer every night.

The home was absolutely beautiful and clean. Management was very easy to work with and handled our minor maintenance issues quickly. We would definitely recommend this home and look forward to coming back again!
