I set all 3 air conditioners to 70 degrees; however, the units are not sufficient to support the large house. Several rooms were very warm and fans made it worse. The shower curtains in one of the upstairs bathroom are torn and has mold at the bottom. The house needs repainting in certain rooms. Patio furniture has mildew and needs replacing. Living room sofa is worn. Bring towels, not enough (there were 10 people). Sliding glass doors are hard to open. Its a beautiful house, just needs attention to the items listed above. Val and Matias were extremely helpful. I received the incorrect house code and Val immediately text the info. We stayed 2 days and overall is was okay.

The house is very comfortable; kitchen is well equipped and living area is very roomy for a large group. Customer care contact (Valerie) was very courteous and responsive. Location is great. I would stay there again.

The management company did a great job with communication. The property is in a good location. It is not a private beach and a good half mile walk to an access. The pool and pool area are nice. The house is set up well. It worked well for our family gathering.
It does need some improvements. The property has great potential. Most of the bedding is very worn and there were no extra blankets, there was no soap or shampoo. (The management company did bring 4 (very small bars). The cushions on the outdoor patio either were very worn or non-existing.
It is located in a very quiet neighborhood.

It was a nightmare from the checkin process. House need upgrades, ant traps lying around ( my daughter is 1 and found 2), pool does not stay heated(despite paying) towels worn down, itchy sheets, very dust, nosey neighbors. I received approval from Val and have a birthday dinner outside as long as it wasn’t more then 20 guest. She also, let me know it was ok for to smoke or vape on the patio (which was random) She asked me to contact her to pick up tras. On a day before check out, the decorator pick up her items. I was not there at the time and PM admitted to watching me leave. PM was there and started yelling at her. I’m assuming she was there to Pick up the trash bags. The Decorator informed her it was no party it was dinner that my parents cooked. The PM continue to call the decorator a lier. She explained she just decorated the tables for me and my family. The PM continue to belittle her making her extremely
uncomfortable. She yell at her and told her to not touch anything because she was taking pictures and force her to give her business card to her. She made racist and derogatory remarks about the quality of guest who booked the rental.She was going on about me and our guest we left the place smelling with smoke and liquor, but house was spotless. Val arrived to pick up the trash and to talk about us to the decorator. There is a clear communication issue. I feel bad for the owner, the house needs better management. So much more to say. Save yourself the headache.

We absolutely loved the pool and outdoor space. Fabulous. Mike from Evolve is an absolute superstar, and made everything easier!! The problem was the house itself. The air conditioning wad inadequate. The living room was frigid, but we wore sweatshirts. The cold air made it to the kitchen and one downstairs bedroom, but no where else. The first floor master appears not to even have vents. The upstairs was very stuffy even with every fan going full blast. There were bugs in the kitchen and upstairs bathrooms. Dirty carpet on the stairs and second floor, including bathroom. To enter the home you have to walk through one of the downstairs bathrooms. Not ideal to use that as a functional bathroom. Sorry to say that I cannot recommend this place

Read the reviews. There are 2 separate property mgmt companies. Evolve does the advertising and payments and Short Stay Florida handles the maintenance and cleaning. Our number one issue is no private beach access. The reason we chose this property is we have stayed in this neighborhood before and know it has private beach access. It seems 6 months ago the HOA eliminated it for rentals. Evolve still has it listed as private beach access. Had we known this, we wouldn’t have rented.There is a public beach access 1/2 mile away. The first floor is serviceable and the kitchen is very nice. But the upstairs carpet probably needed to be replaced more than 10 years ago. There is an overall musty smell upstairs. The walls have tons of patches and touch ups that don’t match. The linens are very old and need to be replaced. Sliding door sticks badly and the glass is separating from the frame. As for security, a swift pull would open the doors. Several toilets are loose, sink handle in bathroom is off, At least one TV doesn’t work, Water heater in master doesn’t last long. Lots of maintenance has gone undone. We did not contact them during our stay. It’s not like they’d send a paint crew or replace the carpet while we were there. Just be advised of the actual condition of the house. Our Short Stay Florida rep (Val) was very nice and the house was clean. There are 3 A/C units and we were able to keep the house cool. Didn’t notice any slow drains as others have mentioned.

Beautiful floor layout allowing for a lot of private space and location to the beach entry is amazing. Washer/Dryer are new and a highlight! Ample supply of starter dish soap, hand soap in the bathrooms and paper towels/toilet paper. Unfortunately, the property is in disrepair and does not warrant the price per night as listed. All bedrooms but one are 78-80 at night even after the handyman and technician visit (who stated a new A/C was needed). We personally bought 3 fans from Target to help with sleep, as ceiling fans only push hot air down. A hissing opossum lives under the front steps by the door, and although a trapper was requested, one never came. We also had daily visits from raccoons during the day and people knock on the door at night. The pool heater worked, and we actually had to have it shut off by the pool guy as the pool temp was up to 94 degrees. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood many times, and this house has so much potential, it just needs some owner love. A/C is the major issue, sinks don’t drain, ceiling fans are caked with dust, the carpet upstairs is at least 20 years old, dead bugs under the beds, landscaping is overgrown, grill is falling apart (and a very broken one just sitting in the corner of the backyard), kitchen cookware could be replaced and is small for a house that sleeps so many, tile in upstairs bath is literally crumbling, not all sliding glass doors lock (entry to the house), the garage looks like a hoarding situation from the back windows. Short Stay Florida is amazing and does all they can with excellent communication but we got the sense the owner truly does not care about this property.

We appreciated the house and 5 bedrooms with numerous beds as we were 6 adults and 4 children. The beds were very comfortable.
The decoration was simple but pleasant.
The children had lots of space to play in the pool or read in the huge dining room on the sofas
After we complained about the lack of spoons, bowls and linens in the kitchen, we received what we needed.
So, a nice house but it needs a serious cleaning of the carpets on the upper floor, especially in the big bedroom or to take them off.

Overall, this house is HUGE and was a great place to stay near the beach. It’s about a 7 minute walk and the house had lots of chairs and floats to use at the pool and beach. Kitchen is well stocked with anything need to prepare and cook meals and grill worked great. Check in and out was super easy and they were very helpful! We left my daughter’s stuffed toys on accident and they shipped them to us. I just sent the shipping cost. The upstairs is a little on the warm side, but has fans in most rooms. Bring bug spray as it’s Florida and lots of mosquitoes outside! Really had a wonderful long weekend and would recommend the house!

This Pompano Beach home is perfect for grilling and chilling. Stayed here Sat - Mon, with a couple of friends prior to going on a cruise out of Port Everglades. We felt like we had our own private oasis! Never had to leave the house once we got groceries! Fully recommend. Mike was a great host. Texted friendly reminders throughout to make sure we didn’t miss any check in or check out procedures.

Master bedroom AC did not work!
We complained about it since day 1 to property manager. On the last night, no one could sleep upstairs . The only place that had cool A/c was in the family room. That’s where our family, who we’re staying upstairs , slept -on the floor. Val, the property manager, agreed that Master was like a sauna for all 4 days, and Friday , upstairs A/C wasn’t working. “Evolve “ from Colorado, said the A/c was fine. They were obviously not in the house.
Also, the carpet was damp and it smelled like mildew!! There were water stains on the ceiling on various locations. We have pictures documenting this.
Also, we paid for the pool to be heated , and complained to Val because it only was heated for 1 day.
The floor in the family room was filthy, and there were cigarette butts by the pool chairs and some in the pool.
The toilet at the top of the stairs was shooting out water until Val came to fix it.
The A/c filters were filthy.
Shelves were dusty
Silverware in kitchen dirty
Light above the bar was flashing ( Val fixed that)
Outside light did not work until Val fixed it.

Great place for a beach vacation
We had a family reunion for our Dad’s celebration of life. The pictures accurately depict the home. It’s lovely inside and out. The outdoor patio area is covered and close to the pool. Enough bedrooms and beds to accommodate our family of 8 (4 couples and 1 infant). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach is a quick walk away. We found the entrance from the southern gate provided the best beach and swim option (less seaweed on the ground & in the water). Al- in-all a wonderful weekend.

The master bedrooms upstairs and downstairs are great. The other rooms are just standard, yet comfortable rooms with televisions. The property could use a few upgrades and do a little more than just the bare minimum to ensure guests are comfortable. It's an older home. The TVs did not have apps like Netflix. The showers did not have racks to place your toiletries. No mirrors in a few of the bedrooms. You really have to be sure you bring everything you need with you. We had to buy certain kitchen items, like a pitcher, and leave it there because they didn't have one. The host could also improve communications, I contacted them a week in advance for questions so we could pack properly. I had to follow up two other times and still did not get a response. I never got my questions answered. Once it was time to check in, they were communicative, very friendly and accommodating. Overall a good experience and I would recommend this place for people who are fine without the perks other places offer. Last thing the private beach is nice but isn't exactly private and a few blocks walk away.

We had a lovely visit at this home! The location was stunning, the pool and home were very nice, clean and fun. The BBQ is a little old and in need of some TLC, but everything was just perfect for us. The home manager is a dream, easy to communicate with and super attentive. HIGHLY recommend!

Spacious house in a great and safe location. Close to a spacious beach and only a few minutes away from the municipal golf courses. The managers were super nice and catered to us throughout our stay.

The location for house this was wonderful. Very close to shops and the beach. Very spacious and nice appliances. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds.The house needs new carpet upstairs. I messaged the property manager about the below issues and did not hear back. The pool Fountain is broken. The bathrooms were not cleaned well prior to our arrival. They had hair all over the floor and hair clogged the upstairs sink. There is black mold on the tile in the master bathroom. There are no locks on any of the doors. When I messaged the management about getting it fixed, they said there were no lock because kids would lock themselves in the bedroom. That could easily be fixed if they just had the special locks with pins to unlock them from the outside.The cleaning fee for this was too high compared to how much we had to do to remove sheets, excetera prior to leaving AND because it was dirty on our arrival.

Great location, needs updates.
The location for house this was wonderful. Very close to shops and the beach. Very spacious and nice appliances. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds.
The house needs new carpet upstairs. I messaged the property manager about the below issues and did not hear back. The pool Fountain is broken. The bathrooms were not cleaned well prior to our arrival. They had hair all over the floor and hair clogged the upstairs sink. There is black mold on the tile in the master bathroom. There are no locks on any of the doors. When I messaged the management about getting it fixed, they said there were no lock because kids would lock themselves in the bedroom. That could easily be fixed if they just had the special locks with pins to unlock them from the outside.
The cleaning fee for this was too high compared to how much we had to do to remove sheets, excetera prior to leaving AND because it was dirty on our arrival.
