View ocean is great. Common areas and pool are nice. This unit is far from it. Other than a coat of paint on the walls and ceiling, it has not been remodeled. Had to spend first 30 minutes getting the a/c to work. Sliding door to veranda did not slide. Skeleton of what used to be a light fixture on veranda. One roll of toilet paper in bathroom. In general the unit is in poor condition. There are also two air conditioning units directly below the unit, that service the el san juan hotel next door. They run 24/7. I texted the owner who told me he would fix the problem issues. That doesnt do me much good. Love san juan but will never stay here again.

The property and the area was beautiful! The owner of the property was excellent. Everything was great!

Great location, including view of the ocean from the 15th floor. This room had a cook top, refrigerator, and all the items we needed. The pool and hot tub were maintained well. We would recommend.

Location: access in the beach, there’s also available chairs and umbrellas for rent. Close to post office USPS. Very accessible to 24/7 Supermarket. Close to CVS Pharmacy and other stores. Close to the airport. View: It’s on the 15th floor. Very nice view of the ocean. Water Amenities: For some reason, water flow is slow. Amenities: Swimming pool, free towel in the pool, has restaurant downstairs , small grocery store downstairs. Steve the guard downstairs is very friendly. Overall: it’s in great location and and nice view.

We loved the view and spacious room from our condo. We wish that there were dish towels to use in the kitchen, and facecloths for showering in the bathroom. There were no tissues and limited paper towels and toilet paper for the week. The water pressure was a joke,and there was limited hot water. We had limited TV stations to watch, which my husband was not happy about. The owner had promised us when we booked this unit that there would be a shopping cart for our use to take to the supermarket. There was none!! When I contacted him, about this issue and the towels, he never returned my text!! Not good customer service!! Mentioned this to many people here. We had lovely weather and enjoyed the facilities of this building a lot. Hope to return again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay in this property. It was right on the beach, close to good restaurants and grocery store. It was very clean. Both beds were comfortable.Uber ride to Old San Juan was $10 from here. Very nice beach. The beach is groomed periodically to pick up the seaweed that washes up.Small details took away one star. The hot water never got HOT, but stayed luke warm throughout the shower. And the shower had low pressure.The pool area was very nice, but the hot tub did not work while we were there.There is a large air conditioner at ground level (not in the unit) that runs all the time. It competed with the sound of the surf through our patio door. :(There is only one roll of toilet paper allowed for the week. (This really annoyed me.) Either bring your own, or interrupt your vacation to walk to the grocery store. Luckily, the grocery store is only 1/2 mile away. I would have appreciated some greeting and personal recommendations for restaurants and local entertainment from the host. There were few personal touches.Be sure to bring and use bug spray if you are going to be on the beach after dark. I found out the hard way, and am still dealing with the bug bites I got, weeks later. The building owner (not the condo owner), locks access to the beach at 9pm with a padlock. We didn't know that we couldn't get back in after our p.m. walk on the beach. There is no phone outside the fence to call for help. We had to walk around the building in the dark in order to find another way in. (Where I got all those bug bites, I guess.)The condo is in a 16 story building that is also used as a hotel and rental properties. There are people selling timeshares in the lobby. This was our first stay in Puerto Rico. I am super happy with the location and cleanliness of the condo.

Pros: Condo has amazing views, no doubt. Condo has enough utensils including 4 dishes, spoons, forks, knives, pots and pans. It comes with linen, towels (But they are used, just washed clean) It’s a decent size studio with 2 queen bed and a nice size balcony. Building is nice with a bar, card room, restaurant, beach access and a good size pool. Beach is very nice and very clean. Close to good restaurants, CVS and super markets. Parking space was also good. Cons: Many issues with the condo. There were lot of ants on the kitchen counter. There is no dish rack so it gets challenging after washing dishes. Bathroom door doesn’t close. Seems like renovation went overboard with the paint. Door cannot close. Also I wish there was some separation between the toilet/shower and the sink. Owner removed that door. Whole building is going through renovation (44 year old bldg.) Some builder took over and so they are converting 1/3 into hotel, 1/3 timeshare and rest owner owned which I think was this one. Afternoon naps were challenging due to renovation next door. I had to ask them to stop for an hour one day. Cleaning was little painful, I wish we had a vacuum cleaner instead of broom and mops. Overall stay was good and we worked around those challenges. Reducing stars due to the Cons. Some will go away with time, some are simple fix.

We had a great stay at this condo. Fernando has many items in the unit that you would not expect including a beach umbrella and 4 beach quad chairs. There is also a set of dominoes and beach toys for kids. There was also a shopping cart that you could use to stock the fridge because he Pueblo grocery store is a short walk away. The ac unit worked great!! The hotel is currently undergoing renovations right now so it was a little noisy in the daytime but it didn’t bother us. The pool area was great as well and appears to have been recently renovated.

Pros: Overall nice place. Location, tho Uber has hard time finding building. Location to beach. Beach amenities, $$ View Shopping Cons: Construction next door. Kitchen light didn't work. 1 hand towel, lots of face towels and bath towels. TV volume goes in and out. Picture on floor when I entered, fell off wall, probably from construction next door. Hot hall ways.

Place needs minor TLC , but overall nice and clean , Fernando is very quick answering all questions we have We had great time and enjoyed Island

I stayed in this location for 8 nights and I loved it. First of all, the breath taking view was amazing. I loved sitting on the balcony and simply enjoy the sunset. The apartment itself was cozy but spacious and clean. And Fernando, the owner, was very attentive and just a call/message away if needed. Definitely would recommend this location to anyone and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Excellent views and location. The studio was clean, comfortable, and the condo/hotel staff were very welcoming. My family and I had a great time!

View was incredible. Pool closed daily at 7 pm which was a bummer and beach access closed at 9pm. Condo was fantastic! We felt very safe and secure in the area. Everyone was very friendly. There was a little store downstairs. It was very convenient but WAY too expensive! We had a fantastic time and we will definitely be back next year. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay two weeks!!! Advice for restaurant choices: Lupi’s is a must! Skip Mi Casita service was awful and food was over priced and below average. Finally don’t count on public transportation. The buses don’t run regularly and cannot be relied upon. Uber is your best bet.

If you want to forget about everything and just RELAX!!! This is were you should stay!! The condo has an amazing view and everything went as expected. This condo was extremely clean and well maintained and the owner was such a nice guy I would definitely recommend this to everyone such an amazing place. I needed some help with sliding door and the owner responded to my call intermediately and sent a person to fix it the same day. I was very pleased. The view from the balcony was amazing as it looked over the ocean. It was about 15 to 20 minutes to San Juan area by a car, taxi or Uber. I’m already talking about booking in this condo again in the near future! Hasta La Vista Puerto Rico!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment and its location were perfect. My husband and I rented it to celebrate his birthday and Mother's Day and we could not have chosen better.

Fernando was readily available always. The apartment was clean with new AC. The view from the 15 floor balcony was breathtaking. The building location is perfect. Great indoor assigned parking. I will always stay at the ESJ Azul. There is building renovation going on so can't give a 5 star. Thank you Fernando.

We loved staying here, Fernando. The million dollar view, the close proximity to restaurants and the beach, the beautiful pool, the lovely staff...and the A/C worked perfectly. You could charge much more to stay at this location and we didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much.

Para comenzar les puedo decir que el apartamento está ubicado en una área perfecta de Isla Verde, PR. Tiene una vista fabulosa y está muy bien equipado con todo lo que uno necesita para pasar unas excelentes vacaciones, lo único que necesitas llevar es tu ropa. El apartamento es bastante amplio para 2 o 4 personas y con una bonita decoración. El dueño de la propiedad es muy amable y honesto, siempre dispuesto a serviles. La propiedad cuenta con piscina y acceso a la playa, aunque en mi estadía no pude disfrutar de la piscina porque estaba en reparación. Según tengo entendido estaría lista para el fin de semana del 17 de Marzo. En el lobby tienen restaurante, cafetería, colmadito, y barra entre otras cosas. Si no deseas desayunar, almorzar o cenar en la propiedad, pues tienes varias opciones fuera de ella. Frente a la propiedad tienes un Chili’s, si caminas a la izquierda tienes varios restaurantes, cafeterías y panadería. Si deseas ir al supermercado, tiene El Pueblo supermercado a dos cuadras. En fin todo a la conveniencia de uno. Y para más conveniente tienes tu propio parqueo. En mi próxima visita a PR lo pienso rentar nuevamente. En pocas palabras Lo doy un 100% de recomendación al que quiera rentar este apartamento, les aseguro que no se van arrepentir. Por último mis mas sinceras gracias al dueño Fernando por toda su ayuda y honestidad. Espero volver a tener la oportunidad de rentar esta facilidad nuevamente.

We were once again thrilled to stay in this wonderful condo! The view from the balcony is spectacular! The owner is very easy to communicate with and concerned about your comfort while in the condo. The location is within walking distance of restaurants and stores. Puerto Rico is rebounding. The area looks much like it did before the hurricane. You will be very excited to stay here!

The unit itself is nice, well equipped, the WiFi worked and the view is spectacular. The beds are not too comfy and the bedding and pillows are ready for an upgrade. The only real issue we had with the apartment was that the shower curtain was really tricky to put into place correctly and almost always would let water out so the floor got wet. There's plenty of towels in the unit, so we just resorted to place some on the floor; not a big deal but not ideal. Communication with the owner was prompt. The reason why we give this 3 stars and not more is that it wasn't until 2 hours before we arrived that the owner sent a text message saying that he just found out the pool was closed for renovations as well and renovations taking place in the entire hall on our floor. He mentioned that it was miscommunication from his HOA but I still feel that as an owner, it was his responsibility to stay on top of the facilities available. WE WOULD HAVE NOT STAYED HERE HAD WE KNOWN THIS AHEAD OF TIME. There was a lot of noise due to the renovations and even when you were at the beach, all you could hear was the work going on. The staff by the beach bar was really nice and they tried to "cover" the noise by playing music but unfortunately it probably just made it worse. It was also a pain that even the outdoor showers coming back from the beach were not in service so we had to come back in full of sand. The renovations of the hall made it look like something out of a horror film. The lobby is nice and modern and although we didn't try any of the onsite restaurants, it's still convenient to have. The parking area was dark during the day since it's underground and during the day, about half of the lights were off, but there was plenty of security so we always felt safe. The building's location is great. We understand that the Island suffered a lot of damage after the hurricane so we tried to make the best of it. The people's spirit is still alive and ready to raise. Old San Juan is still as beautiful as ever. Nature is recovering faster than you can imagine. We look forward to coming back once the Island is in better shape and would considered staying here again if we are able to confirm that all the facilities are available as advertised.

Great condo, right on the beach! Very conviently located with lots of restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. Pool was being renovated while we were here and it looks like it will be amazing when completed! We loved going down to the lobby bar at night and visiting with Victor, he was very friendly and gave us great info on the area. We highly recommend walking up the beach to El Ambique, we ate there twice and their breakfast is the best. (Get the chocolate and strawberry waffle!!!) Another yummy (and cheap!) place to eat is El Chamos Arepas a little food stand just down the road (easy walk from ESJ) Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! We also did a walking food tour in Old San Juan that was fantastic, good food and great lesson on history and culture! sanjuanfoodtours.com Condo was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. Fernando was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

This studio has an immaculate view and the pictures provided by Fernando are on point. Beautiful condo with all the necessities. Fernando even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. I will refer all family and friends to stay with Fernando, and next time I come back to Puerto Rico I have a place to stay. Thanks a million Fernando!!

As usual, my husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Fernando and his wife are very caring people. This will be the place where I lay my head when I come back to Puerto Rico.

Our vacation at Fernando's Condo was wonderful. The view from the room and balcony was a WOW..... Fernando meet us when we arrived and made sure everything was to our liking. He was very easy to work with. When it was time to leave his wife meet us to give back our damage deposit. She was also very kind. If you come to Puerto Rico I would recommend this condo .
