Fantastic breakfast. The place is beautiful and very charming before the day tourists start to arrive. Very picturesque in the evenings.

Note to kitesurfers. You need to walk 20 minutes to launch your kite. During the day the place can get very crowded from day visitors, which all leave by 4pm to take the last ferry. The pool was dirty, probably due to the large number of day visitors.

excellent staff, very welcoming, always here to help. We had a good kite instructor which was arranged by Casa Uca, could organize a down wind to Tatajuba, with a buggy following us on the beach. The restaurant is just perfect! we loved the grilled fish, and the açaí is one of the best! the bedroom are modern, charming with a breathtaking view on the Guriú lagune.

This hotel is insanely beautiful. We stayed at the roof top room and it was huge with the most wonderful views. The food was excellent and so tasty. The service in general was amazing . What a wonderful stay we had. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

Very nice facility, calm boutique hotel - perfect for kite surfing, however, you need either a buggy or walk and then kite down to the lagoon.

Very friendly and helpful local staff, especially at the restaurant and bar, however, at the reception, the staff was a bit "posh" and they try to be the "location" for party people at the pool for drinks during the day. It was extremely crowded by external guests during the day and an atmosphere that fits to the facility, but not really to the remote location. For people staying there as guests, its pretty annoying, however again very calm in the evenings.

Relax and amazing position

The hotel itself is beautiful. Very very stylish, very tasteful. Great outdoor area, nice pool and lounge area.

The staff that serves you is very friendly and work hard. The ladies that manage the hotel are a NIGHTMARE: no one speaks English, they do not listen or understand anything. The check in was a big mess up. We had booked 2 normal rooms and one more expensive ocean view. I explained that the more expensive one was for me, and the other two for our friend and one for our guide. There was another friend traveling with us who had booked separately and had booked the most expensive penthouse. We ended up in the penthouse, our guide in our ocean view room and the friend in the room intended for the guide (which became clear after people had showered etc and used the room, so we left it at that). And that was after we had specifically explained the situation, to ensure everyone would get the appropriate room. Very arrogant, not attentive French manager, no excuses or anything. Horrible. Ans such a shame for a hotel with this ambition. Looks like it is more of a day time party place than a hotel.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel, but nothing on the website was true. They advertise with a great chef and amazing food, but in truth there was no actual chef and the food was awful, I refused to dine in the restaurant after the first evening where I had a hideous experience. It was like staying at a luxury hotel where they had cut back on everything but the building. I had heard great things about it before coming, especially about the food, but I believe it was a different kitchen staff than what is mentioned on the website. If you are expecting a somewhat luxury experience, don’t come here.

Amazing location in Guriu, perfect to see the sunset. The hotel has everything you need , very comfortable rooms, great food, and the swimming pool is very cool.

During our stay everyone from the staff were very friendly, but our bad experience happened due to the management decisions.

Summary: We arrived during the middle of a pool party at the hotel and it was very clear that the staff was not able to make sufficient time for us and that the party guest had the priority. The welcome by the management was one of the poorest we have ever received. We did not receive any information about things like activities, things to do, cleaning, etc. Also absent: a simple sorry for so much noise and lack of tranquillity. Long story: I made a reservation a month before my trip for 3 nights and 5 days before my arrival I received a message from the hotel saying that the hotel would be hosting a DJ sunset event (during pandemic time). My booking was without cancellation and all options around were fully booked leaving me with no option except accept the situation. When we got there after a long flight we were confronted with what a party with DJ could look like. Hotel employees were respecting the sanitary measures but not the party guests. Music was extremely loud. People queuing for drinks as corona doesn’t exist… When I confronted the management and explained that I wasn’t happy for the situation I was not even able to get an apology. In a situation like this in a hotel that you pay 130 euros per day (in Brazil) the minimum that I could expect was that she would offer a solution. We got there at 13:00 (one hour before check in and our room was not ready. I understand the check in time and policy about it but if you are organizing a DJ event in the reception of the hotel I believe the minimum that you could do is to give an extra attention to the unique customer arriving to stay in that day). I have not been offered a possibility to cancel the stay, an upgrade or compensation. The party stopped at 18:20 but until all party guests left was already around 19:00 o’clock… If you are into boutique hotels because of the privacy and tranquility: be aware that during the day, day trippers stop by and will be swimming and sharing the space with you!

The staff was always polite and smiling and accommodated every request. They all remembered the guests names and made the atmosphere very friendly.
