The location is perfect, just off the beach, down the road from some shops and not too far from the airport. The pool area is huge, lots of seating and shade and the kids pool was nice and warm too.

The accommodation is quite dated and needs a refresh and deep clean, the air-con is really old and loud, the kitchen is okay but the whole look is dated in comparison to other properties in this area. The beds are quite uncomfortable and the ironing board doesn’t actually work, it won’t stand, so you have to use it on the floor/table.

Kamaole Sands is superb! Everything! Better than many others because of the parking arrangements and landscaping , design of the whole place, and office staff was great. My particular unit 7-107 was ideally located, had lots of room, was comfortable and I loved the expansive garden view. Many people and birds but still very quiet, all ages there too. I really liked being on the ground floor. Pool was never crowded or noisy, games room and gymn right there. A park and the beach are just across the road. Bus stop in F ront of resort. Many restaurants and grocery stores and shopping very close.

For the resort, perfect! For my unit…7-107.not enough basic supplies. No BBQ tools, very few kitchen utensils, very old kitchen appliances. I bought a toaster oven to use there. I think the bath tub should have grab bars for safety as there are many seniors around. I used the second bathroom shower instead. The ensuite fan sounds like a train going through and is very tiresome and annoying. It may be that the owners are slowly upgrading, I hope so . I do believe they installed new carpet, it’s very nice. Other units are homier and well stocked.

The location of the condo can’t be beat. It is across the street from some of Maui’s most family friendly beaches. Kamole Sands has amazing facilities and the pool/spa were fantastic.

I didn’t like that my stay had to come to an end.

The pool and hotub was really nice.

the condo outdoor patio the grounds (were beautifully maintained and landscaped) nice pool nice barbeque area front desk folks were nice but couldn't do much about our condo as it was booked thru Vacasa (Vacasa was very responsive and good) we had five families in the complex/each in different condos for our son's wedding our daughter and family were in a gorgeous unit with updated everything so there ARE nice units, we just picked one that needed updating/cleaning

shower water came out brown no hot water or water at all out of hot water faucet out of bathroom sink (turns out it was broken underneath) would have had to wait 5 hours for maintenance man to fix (this was our vacation and son's wedding/didn't want to waste 5 hours waiting in condo for the fix) carpet stains really bad in the bedroom (we used a towel to cover so I wouldn't have to look at the stains) and also in the living room stain spots on the pillows of the couch overall, the whole condo needs an update (furniture and flooring)

i really did like that i had to leave maybe the rooster that would start crowing early in the morning

The location of the building was perfect. Couldn’t be any easier getting to the unit on the 3rd floor and parking is very convenient next to the elevators. You get a nice ocean view from the lanai and also a nice view of the beautifully landscaped property. Just a short walk to a beautiful and relaxing beach. Front desk was very polite and made check in a breeze. The pool was nice but can get crowded at night but still refreshing for a night dip.

Some things that we weren’t to thrilled about were even mentioned in other reviews and were addressed as resolved. They clearly weren’t fixed and were lied to about it. For starters, the room has carpet which could need a deep cleaning or replacement. Not sure why carpet would even be in a beach type rental. Lights in the display case above the ac didn’t work either. The fan in the bedroom is all screwed up with the electrical wiring to it and there is no switch. If you pull the chains to turn off the light you will be disappointed. You can not have the light and the fan on at the same time. There were previous complaints about what appears to be mold in the main bathroom and that is very worrisome when I have a toddler and a pregnant wife. Not acceptable! Management said it was taken care of. It wasn’t. Hot water to main bathroom faucet was off and I wasn’t going to mess with it and make a bigger problem. The shower door in the spare bathroom was supposedly fixed. It wasn’t. The glass door is separating from the frame. The beach equipment looks like some can be replaced or even have a little more options in the closet. Who ever is in charge of linens and pillows needs to wake up. A spare pillow along with the sleeper sofa look like it was found from a homeless camp all stained from who know how many peoples drool. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Throw out the pillow and get a new mattress!! Place could use a facelift inside but I feel ownership doesn’t worry about it and just wants to make money.
