Bit dated but still clean

Location good, kids loved the zip wire. It was the children’s games etc that convinced me to book the Barn

Where do I start! I was very disappointed on arriving. Dog poo found on grass (which wasn’t cut)pair of child’s knickers on floor beside Princess bed, empty sweet wrappers under bed. Dishwasher out of use for 2 days. The barn needed a thorough clean, especially the showers. The child’s area was so overgrown with thorns and Ivy that our 2 year old didn’t play much there. Cushions on garden furniture fit for the bin. It is a lovely old property but very tired, unloved and shabby - the saving grace was the zip wire (and bunk beds)which the children loved. The barn is nothing like the online photos. I contacted the owners re my concerns but would have expected an apology, very surprised at early reviews this year who gave it “Exceptional” ?!

Lovely place, quiet location. Can accommodate many people at once.

The barn has a lovely location, tucked away with village pub on your doorstep. There is plenty of room upstairs. Kids loved the bunk beds and children themed sleeping areas. Hot tub and zip wire were great plus outdoor searing area.

Was dissapointed on arrival. The garden is shabby. Broken bikes, mud in sand pit, grass not cut. Everything has seen better days. Nothing like the photos. Was expecting a wendy house and space hoppers. There is nothing like that. Inside, we spent a while cleaning the dirty pots and baking trays, before we could cook. The snug has room for 3 to sit comfy. Otherwise you are all sat around kitchen table.

Very welcoming , showed us around on arrival. Had a fabulous overnight stay as a group of friends doing 2 days at Alton Towers. Thankyou

Lots of space upstairs, bedding was nicely put together in bundles. Clean and plenty of towels for the hot tub, which has been lovely. Large dining area. Zip wire was great. Good outside space and outside dining area for the whole group. Private and enclosed outside space. Kids loved it. The barn is warm with a lovely village location, yet close to amenities. Nice village pub with open fire only a stones throw away.

Not enough room to all sit and relax in comfort. Lounge is small with sofa bed for seating. So only the dining chairs to sit on, for everyone. Which some have past their best..The garden certainly looks better on the photo's and the equipment and sandpit definitely needs updating. As do the toys, bikes etc. Which some are broken.
