We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t spend much time in the penthouse as we had activities planned almost every day. However, place is nice and comfortable for 8 people (3 bedrooms and 3 full baths). The host provided with plenty of towels, beach chairs, football,
and some basic bathroom supplies. The beach is down the elevator. It was nice to wake up to such an amazing view. The washer was not working but once I reported it, the host send a technician to fix it. It took a couple of days but it was fixed.

This place was beautiful. Spacious for my family of 8.
Location was close to everything you would need.
The only things that were inconvenient was that the washer did not work (rinse and spin cycle) we stayed for 8 days and after a couple of days we needed to wash bath towels and we couldn’t. I notified Val just to let her know.
I also wish there were more keys and fobs, with so many adults wanting to do their own things, not enough keys to go around.
But overall I would recommend this place 100%.

Our experience was less than acceptable, when we arrived I was beyond dissatisfied and gravely disappointed and immediately took pictures of everything, but nowhere to load pictures here
The front door gate does not always work and the door locks are not secure (loose) and would be easy to break in if someone wanted to enter the property.
The side door to the balcony cannot be used as it does not shut completely unless you pull it in hard and lock it from the inside despite doing this, I found it open several times.
The balcony railing is unsafe as it is almost rusted completed through in 4 of the 5 support rales, and unsafe for anyone with children.
Half of the lights throughout the penthouse do not work and there are no bulbs to attempt to replace them
The couch is dirty/worn/stained
The fridge/freezer is rusted the ice/water dispenser does not work and the alerts are on for all the filters (air/water)
The closet doors are not able to be opened in any of the rooms, the ceiling leaks, the washer is rusted and smells terrible, the dryer is literally on top of the washer and in the ceiling and you have to use a step stool to put clothes in it. The blinds are falling apart and cannot be opened to enjoy the view, the other windows in the bedrooms are filthy, and can barely see out of them. The kitchen cabinets fall off when you try to open several of them and the cabinets are filthy inside, the one above the fridge is completely gone. See review done in June.

Pictures provided on VRBO do not accurately depict condition of this property. Pictures of the beautiful beach are the only consistent ones. I have accurate photos. If this condo is truly "Fully Renovated" as advertised on VRBO, I would hate to have seen it prior to renovation. Time for a true overhaul. The kitchen cabinet door above the refrigerator is missing, others don't close properly. Ants abound around floorboards into the dining area. Closet door covering the cleaning supplies is broken, there is a stinky mop contained therein. Living room furniture is old & stained & rug shown in the pictures is missing. Outdoor furniture is missing both the chaise lounge & small table shown in pictures. Bedding on all beds is different than shown in the pictures (not as elegant). Mattresses & pillows are in desperate need of replacement. Frankly they were disgusting, uncomfortable & the master was extremely old. Rusty washer & dryer. There are thin metal plates on the room doors which are peeling back & quite sharp, a safety hazard to be sure. Large roll down shade in master bedroom is broken & stuck in down position which makes it so you cannot enjoy the only nice feature this condo has, the beach view. To be fair, property manager did advise they were waiting for an opportune time between renters to replace the shade. However, we were not made aware prior to arrival. How long does it take to replace a shade, really? The building & grounds are horribly run down. Not as advertised!

The location is PERFECT! You can arrange for any activity you would want to do on the beach or in very close proximity. Our family went on the banana boat, rented jet skis, booked a private fishing tour, snorkel trip and went zipping in the rain forrest. (this was further away).
Annie’s list of things to do is extensive and has A LOT of great recommendations.
We checked in late and appreciated the accommodations made for us. We also used the grocery shopping offered by Val (co-host). This was FANTASTIC given we arrived at 1:30 AM. Having coffee and other much needed food items was phenomenal!
Now into the Penthouse! We had four individuals in our group. The layout was perfect a bedroom for each of our adult and teenage kids and ourselves. We never once felt crowded and loved the balcony so very much! The people in the building are also very helpful and friendly. The beach is steps away and pool great if you need to swim laps or cool off and relax.
I could literally go in FOREVER on how much we loved this rental. I look forward to staying at any of Annie’s properties again!!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect. Our kids had so much fun on the beach swimming and boogie boarding. We often rented chairs but the boogie boards and cooler were convenient for use. They also did provide some beach chairs. The house was clean. The furniture out on the balcony and the main couch could use some updating but overall we were pleased with our stay!

They need to do a better job with the cleaning. The cabinets were falling apart. The patio furniture that is also falling apart. The shades in the bedrooms did not go up or down.

Very nice condo. We really enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. Lots of restaurants nearby. We spent a lot of time at the pool and beach. There were lots of beach and bath towels, but we could have used a few more hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels. It would be nice to have more towel bars in the bathrooms, toilet paper holders, robe hooks on the back of the bedroom and bathroom doors and mattress pads on the beds. The AC units in the bedrooms worked well, but the one in the living room leaked so we kept a pail under it the 2 times we used it. Kitchen was well stocked although we really only used it for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to come back.

Lovely, spacious 2 level beach view penthouse apartment adjacent to and with easy access to Isla Verde beach. Great patio overlooking the beach. Walking distance to fine dining options and easy access to casinos in nearby hotels. Very close to airport and Old San Juan and convenient access to tour of El Yunque National Rain Forest.

The place was beautiful, roomy, and felt very safe for a small group of girls. The location was fantastic! There was plenty of places to eat right across the street or just a short walk away. We had a little difficulty at check in but the host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Family trip to Isla Verde. Penthouse location was very nice. The amenities were good but could have perhaps been a bit newer and better maintained. Property manager was very gracious and accommodating. We had a wonderful trip. The cleaning person was especially kind as well.

Great location and beach access. Close to restaurants and supermarket with easy access to main roads and airport. Apartment was perfect size for our family of 6, enough bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. The view from condo was gorgeous. The kitchen had all appliances, but the cabinets need a little adjustment, some doors were loose. There were enough towels and sheets. The pool was a nice size and clean. Main complaint was that we were only given one key fob to access the main entrance to building and beach and with 6 of us we had to constantly go up and down to let others in to the building. We contacted the management company but did not get a second key fob. Would still stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great location close to the airport. Private beach and pool. (Traveling for work, so while i couldn't be on the beach, I had a great view) Good restaurants all in walking distance. Smooth check in and check out process. We'll definitely be back as well as looking at Annie's other properties!

Beautiful, Clean Penthouse condo steps from an amazing beach. This is our second stay here and it felt like returning home as we had left it a couple of years ago. We hope to return “home” in the future.

We had a wonderful time. The location is great! Many restaurants and stores within walking distance. We went to the 24/7 supermarket upon arrival and stocked up on groceries as the unit came with a spacious kitchen. We had dinner out on the balcony several evenings which was very nice. The pizza place in front of the unit has excellent food and drinks.
There is ample sleeping space throughout the unit with larger families. We were a party of 5 and the unit was great for us. Everyone had their own bathroom and bedrooms.
Waking up to walk on the beach, a quick swim, and making fresh juice in our kitchen every morning was the very best. We definitely recommend this unit! It has everything you need to have a wonderful stay.

Our stay was wonderful!! Val the property manager was very quick to response with any issues, that meant a lot to us we all loved the place and we highly recommend to anyone to stay here! It is in the center of many places we hope to come back again.

The second day we had a huge ac unit leak in the living room which seeped into a suitcase and purse on the floor, maintenance came out but it was still leaking our whole stay, we had roaches and ants in the kitchen which ruined food we had to toss the last straw was waking up to ants in the master bed

This is a fantastic place to stay! All of the rooms are comfortable & all the linens, towels, toiletries were perfect! We had a great time. Besides the beach, our favorite place to hang out was on the patio. Fantastic view of the beach! If we travel to Puerto Rico again, we would definitely stay here if we can!
Also the host responds almost immediately to any questions!

The property is well maintained, feels very safe, and is close to many shops and restaurants. The condo was beautiful with a great view and management was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely return!

Perfect location and space for my husband and I and another couple. The large patio was the selling point for us all and it did not disappoint. Small issues at the beginning of our stay were easily and efficiently taken care of by the attentive property manager Val. The only drawbacks to this unit were lack of beach chairs and only 2 security fobs. Chairs not a problem at the Isla Verde beach as there were concessions to rent lounge chairs and umbrellas. But we like to check out remote beaches. The ones we went to did not have chair rentals. The only other issue was that there were only 2 security fobs available for entering and exiting the property. We appreciate the security of the building, but there were times when we wanted to do things separately. Not possible for one person to walk on the beach, another go shopping and the other couple go for a drive without coordinating time and place to get back into the building. Other than that, we enjoyed our time in this very lovely space.

Our family of four had a fantastic stay. This property is gorgeous. If your idea of a vacation is to relax to the sound of the waves with a balmy breeze, this pent house delivers! Lots of restaurants and activities near by if you step out.

The view and location was amazing but there were ants throughout the entire unit. The AC wasn’t working right down stairs and after several failed attempts the technician shut it of completely which made it extremely warm and uncomfortable. The AC in the master wasn’t working either so I had many sleepless nights (we were there for 8 days) then was advised to turn it on and let it leak, I placed a bowl under the leak and made the best of it.
The property is in a great location and the property manager is very responsive but they just weren’t able to get it fixed while I was there and it was very inconvenient trying to arrange for the technician to get in.
