Great Stay. Great Hospitality. Would I recommend it? - Yes!

Jacqueline and her sister are really sweet. the overall experience is very personal and unique. Jacqueline takes care of us and share information with us where we can visit and explore. We talk almost twice a day, we share our traveling experience and she shared things in her life. She also sometimes makes us some breakfast and desserts when we don’t have any planned food. Jacqueline is really good at making handcrafts, her place is even more beautiful than her picture. She has a small garden with all kind of fruits and she even made us some gems and prepare fruits when we arrive🥭 They are super good 😌 Her places is super close to the gris gris beach which is beautiful. There are a wonderful track to walk on and a waterfall to swim. Very challenging but as well really rewarding. we also visit Lê morne mountain, crocodile farm with our rental car. Those are really nice for 3-4 days of visiting.

Not that we don’t like it, but in the beginning when I got Jacqueline’s message about her life in UK, her dog, her sister and daughter-in-law… I was a bit surprised, I haven’t got this kind of personal message for a lot time from my booking, which makes me wonder what is waiting for us. But when meeting Jacqueline in person, this is all making sense. Don’t be scared by the messages people 😂 You won’t regret it.

Aurelia Lodge was the nicest guesthouse during my round trip through Mauritius. Everything is very clean, the house is perfect and quietly located. Everything is within walking distance: supermarket, beach, bus, etc. It is also very easy to walk to the sights like Gris Gris beach, Rochester Falls, Cascade. The entire apartment on the first floor is equipped with everything you need. Especially nice is the private roof terrace with sunbeds. The hosts are very very friendly and help with any question. A thousand thanks for the wonderful time. I would book this guesthouse again anytime! I felt like at home.

The accommodation is beautifully decorated by Jacqueline. Her craft work is amazing. It adds that extra unique touch. I took photos of everything. So picturesque. Jacqueline and her lovely sister were so welcoming. They made me feel at home. She goes that extra mile for her guests. She's a lovy kind hearted lady. Although it is not a B&B Jacqueline checks if her guests had breakfast, water for their travels even though she does not have to as it is self catering. They looked after me very well. I was so sad to leave. The location is AMAZING. There is so much to see. I will need to come back just to explore the parts I didn't get to see due to time limit.

The accommodation was really very large, beautifully and comfortably furnished and absolutely clean. From the lodge you can walk in some minutes to the beautiful beach and also have a good starting point for excursions to the Black River Gorges National Park. And in addition, I have never had such a nice host in any other accommodation in Mauritius as in the Aurelia Lodge. Jacqueline, the hostess, spoiled me with excellent food and was a very friendly and attentive host in every way. I can highly recommend the Aurelia Lodge.

The apartment is ver large, clean and has everything you could possibly need. There is an amazing rooftop terras where you can relax and enjoy the sunset. Our lovely host did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. We had a good time getting to know one another. We loved the creative details in the apartment, mostly handmade. A short walk through a residential area leads to the beach and a few excellent restaurants. We recommend this place!

The appartment is beatiful care in all details, spaces are great, everywhere you can see the attention and love of the owner, Madame Jacqueline. A super nice woman. The appartment has all confort you need... even more and unexpected. It Iis very confortable and super super clean. Wifi works perfectly and hot shower also. Very good bad and I have my bathroom in the room. Her garden around is so nice. Madame Jacqueline she is the only host let me some food in the freedge on my arrival, I much appreciated and offer me what I want to eat. She is a great cooker! The location is perfect just few minutes to go to Gris Gris Beach, few steps for the Supermarket and Bus Stop. The house in situated in a nice road very calm. The roof top is very well arranged with nice gazebo and 2 sunbeds. You have great view from there and enjoy nice moments. I immediately feel like home and Jacqueline was there for all needs. She gives also some good tips to visit around. I will never stop to thanks. Souillac merits a visit of the south part of the island for more than 2 days, so came back for sure next time.
