Very calm and relaxing feel. Such a beautiful area with all the trees and great ocean views. Great place to come and relax
Some comfy chairs by the pool would have been nice the wooden hammocks weren’t great for laying in after swimming and no where to lay in the sun

Absolument extraordinaire.

Personale disponibile, educato e competente.

The resort set up in amongst the trees is stunning! The rooms are quite basic however it is an eco friendly resort and so luxuries aren’t necessarily the focus here, while basic the rooms are perfectly fine.
We used the spa facilities, the massage I received was quite possibly the best massage I’ve ever had.
The staff are fantastic, our two receptionists were incredibly helpful and always nice to speak with.
Rooms are basic but nothing negative to note.

Loved the location. An extraordinary experience. The walk to the beach was the highlight. Trekking through the jungle, just go prepared for hiking and it can be muddy. The beach is lovely, very exclusive
Breakfast was disappointing and the dinner menu was the same every day. And the coffee is terrible.

Very cool place for a retreat. There’s nothing else around, ma good to stay for relaxing. The staff was very welcoming and helpful

It was a perfect trip to recharge after a hectic week in Manila before heading back to London. The view is beautiful and it really is in the jungle! I loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and insects at 6am, if you don’t want to wake up at 6… bring earplugs! The restaurant and bar are reasonable priced, the pool is clean and refreshing and I had an amazing facial at the spa.
I saw a lot of cool butterflies, lizards and birds. I didn’t go on any excursions or treks but you can organise them through the lovely staff on site.
Overall a wonderful weekend enjoying the nature and wildlife of Palawan!
I liked everything!!
It’s very much for nature lovers so if you are looking for a hot shower and aircon then it wouldn’t be the one.
The eco ethos at the retreat is really impressive.

Sonst alles Top.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are very spacious, the food very tasty and Sheila, the front office manager, very helpful in organizing all the day tours we wanted.
There is also a direct access to a remote beach. I recommend this place without reservation!
On top, the famous «Underground River» is only 30 minutes away!

The staff were extremely friendly. Tours are great!!!
Very uncomfortable, was bitten whilst I slept. The hot water situation is adequate at best. Facilities didn’t fill us with confidence. Not what I’d consider comfortable
8.0
Very quiet location. The rooms were nice, native furniture, screened in. The trees were amazing and the sounds of nature were really cool. Warm shower. The staff was so nice and very accommodating. Ms Sheila arranged all our tours, transportation, spa service and laundry. Food was good but limited. Miss Harriet the resident cat was a sweetie! The pool was nice and big. The water was nice and cool but there is no shallow end (6 feet deep).
The bathroom was very small. The shower was cramped and lacked lighting. At night it was warm…too warm. The was a couple of electric fans but it was still too warm for comfortable sleep. A few mosquitoes too. Restaurant needs a bigger selection of food. It’s a bit far from PP city. The walk to the beach is challenging.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort.the view across the bay is stunning.
Family room was huge and the attention to detail in the design of the resort make it unique. Loved that the pool was shaded. Restaurant was great everything cooked fresh.
Nothing!

Amazing location in the middle of the jungle.
Staff kind and helpful.
Nice walk in the jungle going to beach: be prepared and wear shoes, 'cause is a bit slippery.
Rooms spacious and great view from the balcony: the sunset is amazing.
Breakfast was poor and under the expectation.
Intercontinental breakfast was made with 3 slice of bread, a spoon (yes, a spoon) of jam and butter (not even enough to spread in 1 slice of bread), and 1 small quarter slice of ananas....ridiculous, considering the cost of the fruit.
Restaurant not so nice, which is affecting the whole nice experience in the jungle (the resort is a bit isolated and far from other places).
Be aware that they are not accepting card, only cash: not acceptable in a resort.

perfect location and staff. the breakfast was great too! they provided us with extra fans at our request and we’re so helpful.
it was difficult with the baby because it’s so hot and has no AC but it would have been much easier without the baby. we would stay here again

The jungle walk and the deserted beach.
The proximity to the underground river.
The jungle atmosphere.

Stunning eco-resort built on the side of the mountain with amazing views. Well appointed and comfortable rooms. Accessible trekking to beach and jungle and nearby attractions such as Underground River. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
As the resort is solar powered, there was limited hot water and no air conditioning. WiFi was only available in common areas. We were informed ahead of time so we were prepared.

The staff and management is very nice and do everything to satisfy their guests. Tasty breakfast that comes in a good amount, lunch/dinner in the restaurant is good too. Possible joyful activities inside the resort such as billiards, swimming pool, jungle walk, ...
Atremaru shows that eco-friendly and carbon-free doesn't have to be in contrary to comfort, fun and quality!
My only kind of suggestion is maybe to get a Netflix access for the TV, but that's not so important.
Only things that bothered to me were the very noisy animals in the early morning (maybe better to bring earplugs) and also that you have to walk uphill from your cottage to the Restaurant, Pool and Front Desk.
But thats no fault of Atremaru of course. :)

Location and Staff. Special thanks to your front desk - Sheila and guard. Property is awesome. Jungle walk is a big plus.
Bathroom needs a big upgrade. Proper door to start with. It's a family unit for crying out loud. And lighting. Atleast you need to see if you plan to shave. Has to have an exhaust fan. Also, a full mirror with adequate lighting in one of the rooms. Have to take so much grief for that.
Breakfast: Please make it a buffet or atleast increase the size of the portions.

Fabulous location and well set up. staff were amazing.
Our room was a quad/family room for 4 - it was on the edge of the site by the road. it had minimal water flow for showers and had building work going on behind it. it looked quite shabby.
8.0
Beautiful property in the jungle. poor wifi. no hot water unless the sun shines and it didn’t so don’t know if it works.
long way from anywhere except the underground river trip. the beach walk is arduous and takes at least an hour going down. Longer back up. The walk back up is not for the faint hearted. Take water and wear good walking shoes. Do not attempt the walk if you are not healthy.

Excellent retreat with amazing staff, a refreshing pool, beautiful views and a fantastic restaurant with delicious dishes.

Liked the simpleness and the fact it was rustic. Sheila at front desk was amazing!
Menu needs upgrading and anything with a mayo sauce was way too much sauce and very sour

Amazing views of the bay, jungle sounds, walks through the forest, lovely pool

Atremaru has all the comforts of a hotel, but instead of a big blocky building it is an assortment of solid stone huts strewn into a beautiful jungle park. Everything is very well appointed, spacious and well taken care of. They even have a good restaurant. We stayed there as a basis for the underground river, but Atremaru is well worth the visit just for the place itself. Very professional and helpful staff.
The fine print about the private beach is a 30 minute walk along a sometimes adventurous path through the jungle, at the end of which you will really appreciate the ocean :-)
On the way back you also have to climb 120 height meters from sea level back to Atremaru, so you will have well earned another shower. The path is quite interesting, but once was enough for us.

Absolutely beautiful location and rooms! Sheila was extremely helpful in organising tours and travel around the island. Can’t wait to come back!

Being in the jungle, listening to the birds first thing in the morning. Views from the roof terrace.
Path to beach was hard work. Jungle walk needs some attention. Cost of getting to Sanang is a lot. You really need your own vehicle or be happy to hire a scooter.
