Air Conditioning/Heating
There are two controlling devices - one in the kitchen to control the south wing and one near the master bedroom in the hallway to control the north wing. The units turn off automatically when you are not in the house. The Temperature is pre-set to 67-75, but feel free to change the settings if you like.
Bath Tub
The bath tub is equipped with thermal air. A few minutes after the tub is drained, the jets will turn on to clear water out of the lines.
BBQ
Utensils for BBQ are located in drawers to the left of the sink. Please brush off food particles after use using wire brush provided. There is a gas gauge attached to the propane tanks to see how full they are. In the event you need a spare, they are located in the shed in the front yard near the water tank.
Coffee Machine
Please make sure you are only using one paper filter and change it between each use to avoid overflowing and shorting the machine. Also, please do not put any parts from the coffee machine in the dishwasher.
Mr. coffee machine and nespresso original line available.
Dishwasher
Please do not put any of the Henkel sharp knives in the dishwasher. They should be hand washed.
Fireplace
The fireplace is gas. There is a switch on the wall to the left of the fireplace (when standing in the living room) that looks like a regular light switch. Flick the switch to turn the fireplace on/off.
Internet
Name of network: Cavedale 2917, no password required
Laundry Room & Washer/Dryer
The light switch is the one furthest away from the door in the corner. Please do not wash the sheets or towels with anything of color as they are easily stained. You'll find additional toilet paper, paper towels, outdoor towels, bath towels and sheets here too or in the pantry.
Music
We have a sonos system in the living room and kitchen that you can connect to or plug your iphone/android phone into directly.
Refrigerator
If the doors are not properly closed, you will hear a beeping sound. There is filtered drinking water available from the inside of the fridge on the left side.
Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Soap
In each of the en suite bathrooms, you'll find these in the vanities. In the 3rd full hallway bathroom, these items are located in the laundry room.
Towels
Bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths are in the laundry room.
Trash
Please put your trash in the two secured bins in the shed in the front yard near the water tank. There is a padlock on the shed and the code is 8470. DO NOT leave any trash outside, we have lots of animal life that will get into the bags and it will be very messy! There are extra trash bags in the pantry where the pool towels are stored.
TV/DVD
No TV - this is about getting away and we take it seriously ;-)
Umbrellas
There are two sun umbrellas, one on each deck. Occasionally, the property experiences high winds and the umbrellas should always be left in their closed position and secured with the strap.
Waste Disposal
There is a small silver button (air switch) next to the kitchen faucet. This turns the waste disposal on/off.
Water
We have had our well water tested and it tested better for drinking than SF city water. We have a water filtration system at the rear of the house and it removes the vast majority of the iron from the water. You may still notice some slight discoloration. We drink it regularly. Once a week the system is purged. The time that this occurs varies depending on usage. If you hear any strange gurgling or knocking sounds from the north of the building, it’s most likely the water filtration system purging. Filtered drinking water is available on the inside of the refrigerator on the left side.
Additional Notes
•There are a few large food platters and water pitchers in the glass cabinets facing the dining table.
•The house is on a septic system, please only flush toilet paper.
•If you are planning to be away for most of the day, we suggest pulling down the shades and closing the curtains. This will keep the interior of the house cooler in the summertime.

Would have given 5 stars except for: 3 issues:
The kitchen was not as clean as one should expect with rental of this level. The counters, interior cabinets and sink could use extra attention.
Be careful that umbrellas DO NOT have any security in poles and just sit inside . They are heavy duty and one blew out out due to a sudden gust and whacked my head caused a bleeding cut . It was not windy at that point and the other umbrella stayed in place/ We took the umbrellas out every night and were very conscientious. The umbrellas should be secured at a minimum as the tightening screws did not work.
Was not impressed with the owners response to reporting this incident which was very surprising.and disheartening!
Lastly , the garbage area is not a clear path and was difficult to access with branches and brush in the way as well as a hoe on the ground we could have stepped on and been injured. The garbage area door fell off while trying to access. The area is needing attention and very messy’
I am a fair person and not difficult to please! I would that hope that Greg will take my review seriously
We had a fabulous time regardless! The views are stunning and the pool and hot tub were amazing! Beds were so comfortable and house is beautiful.

Great stay. Some small repairs are needed but I would turn around right now and book this property again. Hot tub was awesome. View was out of this world

Amazing secluded property in the heart of wine country!

We loved this property! The space, views and experience really made our trip special, and a highlight of our Napa visit. We arranged early dinners in town, in order to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets at the home.

Cielo lives up to the photos. It’s a beautiful home, and the views are stunning. The pool is phenomenal - large and nicely heated. The road up to the house is narrow and windy, but definitely worth the trip! Star gazing on the deck after dark was also incredible - lots of shooting stars.
4.8
An amazing property with wonderful views. Pictures are 100% accurate.

A great stay with amazing views and an infinity edge pool and spa! Very well stocked with anything you need and it was very clean. The only complaint I have about this property is that the outside doors did not lock and there is no TV anywhere in the house. Warning: be aware that the road you travel on to get to the home is a one-lane, narrow road on the side of the mountain. The drive to the home is long and windy but it is definitely worth it for the incredible views. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and we are very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend!
4.8
The home was a perfect way to celebrate a milestone birthday in our family. Would highly recommend this home. Impeccable, amazing views and very well stocked. Would love to go back in the future. Highly recommend it!

Loved the home. The road was small to the house, but added to the country adventure. The home was equipped with all that you need and sitting in the hot tub was a treat. Hope to stay there again. Some of the sliding glass doors can be a little hard to operate, we found the door closet to the pool was easiest to use. The wall gas fireplace was beautiful and puts out some heat, very nice at the end of the day.

What an amazing property- it really made our stay magical. Thank you Greg and Lea for the great communication before and during the stay. The property was in spectacular condition- the heater worked well with the chilly weather and the infinity hot tub is a bucket list to catch sunsets. The internet was fast (yay Starlink!) and we were able to cook great meals in the well equipped kitchen. All the appliances were in top shape- the BBQ was clean and in great condition too. The drive up the hill was ok for us. Memory foam beds were very comfy and the showers were great. Thanks for sharing your home with us and we hope to be back soon!

Wonderful property with beautiful views!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The views are amazing and worth the drive up and down the steep one-lane road with several steep cliffs. We wish that the posting had included more details about the drive and that we’d been warned ahead of time about the ongoing road construction. Fortunately Lea was in touch once we arrived and we eventually got used to the drives. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Many of the sliding doors were not in use, but this was not a big deal. Thanks for a great stay.
4.8
The property is absolutely stunning, the view and the infinity pool alone are worth staying at this place. Host was responsive, Property was clean. My only comment would be that most of the sliding doors to get outside were broken and it was difficult to get onto the deck but apart from that small problem everything else was immaculate
4.8
The property was just as we expected. Clean, comfortable, private with great views of the valley. The home was secluded which we liked but the road up to the house is approximately 3 miles long and narrow and steep at times. We would stay there again however but just be prepared for the road. Overall loved the property.
4.8
This property made the trip! The house was spacious and perfect for a group of 6-8. The pool and views were incredible and had everything we needed for a long weekend. If/when we go back to the Sonoma/Napa area we would for sure stay here again!
4.8
Amazing house with all the amenities. Very clean and very well kept. An amazing pool with unbelievable views. We would absolutely stay again!!
4.8
Just stunning - the place is incredible! The drive up there was a bit more than I bargained for (but I asked for "the biggest thing" at the rental place and got a Suburban, which I didn't love driving up there) which was totally my fault. The owner was beyond gracious (it was really windy and trees got blown down but the owners had us out of there in no time) so I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to treat themselves to a real vacation. Thanks!
4.8
Our stay here was fantastic! It is a little bit of a drive to get to the house, but it's so worth it! The views are absolutely amazing.
4.8
amazing view, quiet location, see hawks fly. our family had a wonderful time at this property. roughly 17 minutes to Glen Ellen downtown, and 25 min to Sonoma. Good combination of serenity and convenience.
4.8
We spent so much more time at the house than initially planned. It was amazing and we felt no need to leave. It was like our own private resort on top of a mountain ( with a crazy road to get there :) )
4.8
Although the drive up the mountain can be intimidating at first, the house, views and pool make it worth it!
4.8
Not the easiest place to get to but it’s worth the drive. Gorgeous property and great host. Highly recommend.

We lived every minute, the place was absolutely amazing

House was beautiful, spacious , well-maintained!
View was amazing .
Owners were very easy to contact.
Location was perfect for our group as we wanted to explore both Napa and Sonoma.
Although we saw a photo of the road leading to the house, we were not fully aware that the road up the mountain was quite that long and tortuous - may help to inform prior to booking as could be too intimidating for some drivers .
Overall , we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home !

Our weekend was fantastic reunion of family and friends, and we love the house. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The view was spectacular and the pool was a huge hit. We will definitely be back the next time we are in wine country!
4.8
Our stay was very comfortable. The views were amazing. And our grandkids loved the pool and hot tub! We would definitely return and recommend this wonderful house.
4.8
Great property great pillows, very clean and kitchen has everything. Amazing pool. i would stay here again.
4.8
We spent several days here with family. The house was very comfortable for our group of 7 adults. The kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of space to hang out and relax. Days were busy with hiking or WFH; in the evenings we enjoyed the amazing sunset or starry skies from the jacuzzi. The owner was responsive and helpful. Many thanks to Greg and Lea and for a wonderful stay. We hope to come back again.
4.8
We loved the house and remote location - it all felt very different, a real escape. Very open floor plan so not a fit if your group needs privacy or some are working from home. But great together spaces in open kitchen/dining/living areas.
4.8
A perfect escape from city life. The setting is quiet and peaceful, perched on a private overlook with stunning views of the valley and mountains beyond, and an infinity, lap pool as beautiful as we've seen in any five star resort. Watching the sky grow brilliant each night as we took in the sunset from the hot tub was truly a magical experience. We can't wait to return.
4.8
The house was perfect. The view, deck, and infinity pool were incredible. We were a group of girls celebrating a big birthday. It was a trek going up and down the hill, but worth it. The views are unreal!
