We stayed here and enjoyed the house. It was walkable to many bars and restaurants. We have plenty of room to play games in the dining room. The kitchen had everything we needed. Wish there was time to spend on the deck it looks amazing.. we were just out and about too much.

This property is beautiful. The 3rd floor suite has a wonderful soaking tub in the large bathroom. We had 3 couples and two children stay, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The deck off of the kitchen was a lovely spot for morning coffee.

Everything was great. We would stay here again! The only thing more we needed was additional comfy cushioned seating in the living room.

Beautiful house. We came down to do a few distillery tours but also to spend a lot of time board gaming. This was a great location that gave us everything we needed, was walkable to a lot of great food options, and was an easy rideshare to our tour locations. The only real negative was minor, which is that the HVAC is pretty loud if you happen to be staying in the bedroom on the top level.

Surrounded by beautiful giant oak trees and a park at the end of the street. Can walk to the end of the street to Panera Bread and tons of restaurants and stores. Amazing remodel of a historical home with modern appliances and bathrooms. The bedroom upstairs is private and has the master bathroom and a queen bed. The other three bedrooms downstairs all share the same bathroom. Owner lives nearby and was very responsive to any questions or needs.

My wife and 4 grown children spent a lovely weekend in this home. The house has a downstairs apartment and we never heard anything from them during our stay (I hope we were not too loud with our laughing and conversations). The home does have stairs to climb so be aware of that as you consider the location. However the home was clean and has some wonderful character which we thoroughly enjoyed. We ate breakfast on the back deck while some of us were still sleeping which was very convenient.
Thanks Mark for your hospitality!

The home is in a perfect location. Quick drive to many options and walking distance to many locations. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. For the shower head setting there isn't enough pressure/or setting for a hard forceful stream, however there was more than enough hot water for 6 to take a shower. This rental is for a 2nd floor home, with 1 bedroom with an attached bathroom on the 3rd floor. You may also have to park a few houses away, people will park just anywhere. The woodwork in the home is absolutely beautiful. I absolutely would stay here again, I loved the home

House is perfect for a group of travelers needing separate bedrooms. There was an issue with the AC when we were there but the owner was as responsive as possible during and after the trip. I believe the entire AC has been replaced since our trip. Location is perfect to walk to restaurants and quick rides away from Churchill, etc. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay for a vacation. The neighborhood was good to walk around and very conveniently located to most of the restaurants on our list to try out. Two small things—wish there had been more options for TV channels and wish that the dining area could be lit better. We ended up using two lamps, one from the living room area and one of the bedrooms, to get better lighting on the fantastic marble dining room table. Otherwise, a good place to stay for a first-time visit of Louisville.

The house was very clean and we loved the neighborhood/location. We visited several distilleries and this was a good location to stay, and there were plenty of bars/restaurants/coffee shops to walk to. It was nice to walk around and look at all the beautiful homes.
We stayed in the house with another couple, There are a total of 4 bedrooms all with queen beds, 3 on the main level (which is the 2nd floor) and one on the top (3rd floor). The main level bath serves all of the main level rooms and is located right off the kitchen. It was nice and big. The 3rd floor has a large in room bathroom. A few things - there was no clothes rod in the 3rd floor closet and no blinds/drapes on the bedroom window. Luckily I bring eye shades when I travel so I was able to block out street lights and morning light.
The A/C quit working the first night, and it was rather warm. There were ceiling fans in the lower bedrooms and a fan on a stand in the 3rd floor so that helped. I contacted Mark and he had it fixed the next day by a handy man so we were thankful when we arrived home that the house was not 80 degrees.
The kitchen was nice, we cooked every breakfast in the house and 2 dinners. There were a few missing things like a colander, but nothing major. We LOVED the large outdoor deck off the kitchen and would sit outside for meals and when we got home each night.
We would rent this property again. Thanks!

This house was exactly what we needed for our weekend in Louisville. Four private bedrooms, two large showers, a beautiful tub. We didn't cook on this trip, but if we had, the kitchen would be perfectly capable. Six seats in the dining room, plenty of space in the living room. I was pleased to be able to host the rest of the family who was in town because we had more space.
All that said, for reasons not related to this property or Louisville in general, I was quite ill during this trip. At one point, I needed to change the duration of my stay, which of course meant trying to change our reservation. The property owner was most gracious in this request, accommodating to my needs, and understanding of my ongoing communication.
(Incidentally, I've seen many comments on this thread regarding to hot water in the showers. Whatever problem they're referring to, we didn't experience it. Maybe it's because we all grew up in mature homes, or maybe the problem has been addressed. But we had no problem with the water temperature or the time it took to get there.)
