This was the perfect place for oou two dogs, my wife and I. Everything we needed was there and the place was very clean and comfortable. The host Ann goes above and beyond to make it feel like your home away from home. We loved it.

This was our second year staying at this property and you couldn’t find a better location. Right in town and close to everything! Highly recommended!

Best location in town! Ann is the best hostess. Rebooked for next year.

We were so lucky to snag a week to stay here again. The location is perfect = on the village green, just steps from the free buses and the best smoothie restaurant and even closer to Cafe This Way. But the location is quiet and the bedroom in the back of the apartment, so we heard nothing at night. The laundry allowed us to pack lightly, and with a full kitchen, we only ate out once daily. The welcome basket was a warm, lovely addition to nourish us after a long drive to Maine. Highly recommend!!

Just me and my son (22). This was a great place to use as our base for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. Having a parking spot was a game changer. Host is responsive and the bungalow is in the heart of town, while also peaceful. Also loved having some private outdoor space. Recommend!

Ann's very well set-up one-bedroom apartment is very attractive, comfortable, and well-located in the heart of Bar Harbor. During our visit in the middle of fall, we were able to cook full meals and dry our clothes made wet by showers. All 3 of us with our 2 medium-sized dogs slept soundly, and we loved being so close to the town common.

We enjoyed our 3rd time staying at Ann’s bungalow! The bungalow is in a great location in the center of Bar Harbor, allowing you to walk everywhere in town and not have to worry about paying for parking. Even though it’s in the middle of everything, is really quiet. It’s clean and quiet, and exactly as pictured in the listing. Plus Ann is very sweet! Thank you for another great year! Beth & Ed

Great location, quiet yet right in the middle of town. Across from Village Green and the Island Explorer free buses. Don't miss Cafe This Way (steps from door) for breakfast and Lunch right around the corner.

Our stay was amazing! You can't beat the location as you are right in the center of town, close to food/shopping and a short drive to Acadia National Park. Although you are right in town the unit was very private and quiet. Ann was great and very welcoming! This will be our main stay for our annual trips to Bar Harbor moving forward!

We loved our stay in Bar Harbor. Ann was so kind and let us check in early. Our unexpected welcome basket and note was so touching, generous and thoughtful. The location could not be beat. Pet friendly gated front yard was awesome. Ann even provides a dog bed and water bowl. We appreciated the laundry room too after our hikes in Acadia. So walkable to church, town, Bar Island at low tide and there is even a lovely breakfast spot right outside. Also a huge plus is a free parking spot. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Although this apartment is in the center of town, once you're inside you could be in a remote forest! Except for hearing the rain fall, it was exceptionally quiet.
We've been coming to the area for about 40 years but had never rented in town, so this was a new experience.
Ann lives in the same building and was very accessible. I texted her once about what to do with reyclables and she got right back to me.
It rained a lot for the 2 weeks that we stayed (we loved it-- the coastline seems more dramatic and the lighting is great for photos) so there were times when we stayed in and read or played cards before heading out again.
The kitchen is a good size and we made most of our meals. Shower was excellent!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at the bungalow. The place was perfect- very comfortable, clean and spacious with a location that can’t be beat. Ann was a lovely host and very responsive to our calls. She was very welcoming to us and our dog, who also seemed to enjoy his stay 😊. We will definitely return next year!

This is our second time staying at Anna’s bungalow and it didn’t disappoint! It’s perfect to be in the center of town and close to everything — with no worry of finding parking! Our pets enjoyed their stay as well and Anna was more than accommodating to anything we needed. Thank you!

Who could imagine such a quiet, private, comfortable space could exist right in the very center of Bar Harbor? And what a sweet hostess - went out of her way to accommodate us.

The location was right in the middle of the village and you can walk all over town from there. The apartment was clean and simply furnished with all you need. A good firm bed and a shower with great water pressure and ample hot water. Top it all off with a designated parking spot!!! Parking is a premium in Bar Harbor. We were greeted with a personalized not and welcome basket:) We will be back!

This is a great rental. Hidden on a quiet street with only foot traffic on their way to Café this way. This café is great to eat at kind of hard not to you’ll smell the breakfast cooking as you leave the unit in the morning. The host then gave us a complementary basket with cheese fruit and wine. A very nice welcome after a long drive from Boston. I would definitely stay here again. My wife and I and our Jack Russell peanut Had a wonderful stay.

Being right in downtown Bar Harbor with a dedicated parking spot makes your vacation stress free! After exploring all day, it's nice to come back to town and not worry about parking, being able to walk to dinner, to get coffee, or explore the shore path.

My wife, dog, and I had a fabulous stay at Ann’s property. The proximity to restaurants, shopping, and ice cream shops was ideal. The place itself is plenty big for 2 and has great features; two big closets, shower with great pressure & heat, large laundry and dryer, large fridge and freezer with ice maker. We loved sitting outside on the shaded porch relaxing after our mornings in Acadia National Park, which was only a 10 minute drive. Our dog Gus was extremely also extremely well accommodated with a bed, water bowl, and treat upon arrival. Not to mention we loved our welcome basket as well that Ann provided. We hope we get a chance to visit again!

This bungalow was a wonderful place to stay - a little paradise in the middle of Bar Harbor. The in-town location and access to the park was ideal for us. Ann is a wonderful host. Thank you.

Great location, basic accommodations
Location is everything - well 90% of everything. Accommodations were basic. Nice shower. Stove and refrigerator worked. Floors were not scubbed well - brown dirt came off on a wet paper towel. Sheets were torn., but the bed was comfortable. TV screen is small and frequent wifi connectivity problems. Bathroom walls are in need of repair and a new paint job wouldn't hurt. But having a free parking space in the front of the residence right in the center of town and easy access to everything made the stay very enjoyable for me. Great if you don't mind that it is not the Four Seasons. Not to mention that it is the most reasonable priced accommodation that I could find in Bar Harbor.

Amazing time!
We loved everything about this property! We loved the cute homey feel inside as well as the privacy of the private patio area. The location was perfect because just walking outside of the gate brought you right out to the village green and plenty of shopping and restaurants. Even though the location was so close to everything, it was private enough that you didn’t hear much of what was going on around you! We would definitely love to stay here on future visits to Bar Harbor!

Perfect Stay in Downtown Bar Harbor
We had a great time at Ann's bungalow in downtown Bar Harbor. The bungalow was clean, quiet, and well stocked and provided a great place to rest and relax after days full of hiking. The location was also perfect, walking distance to anything in Bar Harbor, and a short drive from all that Acadia has to offer. Ann even provided us with a very thoughtful welcome basket! I would highly recommend to any couple traveling to Bar Harbor or Acadia!

A lovely bungalow in a great location
We had an amazing stay at this property. The bungalow itself is a nice size with good enough amenities, but the location can't be beat. Right in the middle of downtown Bar Harbor and an 8 minute drive from Acadia National Park, you won't find a better spot to stay to experience all the area has to offer.

Cute and Convenient
We loved our stay! Ann was very accommodating and had items available for our dog’s comfort as well as ours. She gave us our privacy during the trip, but also made it clear that she was available if we needed anything. We were within walking distance of any store or restaurant that we could want and a short drive from all of our activities in Acadia. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect Bar Harbor Stay
Location is right next to the central public park and walking distance to all the eateries and shopping downtown. The place is nestled on a side street with the parking spot directly in front. Minutes drive to Acadia park entrance which made coming back between hikes for a hot lunch nice. Ann was so nice and available if you needed her. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Lovely
Ann not only provided a wonderful surprise welcome basket, but also a wonderful spot to relax after a busy day hiking, beaching, shopping and dining. Ann’s bungalow couldn’t be in a better location to get to Acadia easily and to enjoy the village by foot. Just lovely.
