The original section of this cabin was found on the farm's back acreage. It is actually three cabins joined together with original stonework and logs dating back to late 1800s. Guests will enjoy a good size kitchen with farm table and a cozy living room with love seats and satellite TV. There is AC/heat. The heat is baseboard though there is a wonderful glass-front wood burning stove for extra heat and added ambiance.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Well equipped historic cabin in a beautiful setting. Super comfy bed. Great communication with owners which was greatly appreciated. We hope to get back there in the future.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The check in process could have gone more smoothly. We had to drive to an office to pick up the keys which was a good 10 minutes past the location from where we came, and as it was late it wasn’t ideal to add that extra 20 mins into our long drive. Then when we got to the property, it is pitch black, and we could not find one of the two cabins we rented. We drove around looking for a while before giving up and decided just to stay in one cabin. The listings for each cabin described them as being one bedroom, which is why we rented two. The cabin we ended up staying in actually had two bedrooms, so in hindsight we needn’t have booked a second one. I reached out to the house right away and told her we were unable to locate one of the cabins in the pitch dark. Also, how the listing was not accurate and saying that there was only one bed, so in reality, we didn’t need the second cabin anyway. She was unwilling to refund the money I spent for the second cabin for the weekend, but in the end she let us stay one extra night, so I was appreciative of her cooperation. The setting is very neat and the cabin was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Would definitely stay here again… Just make sure to arrive in the daytime if possible!

We loved this charming and remote cabin. It was perfect for our needs, and my teen son especially appreciated the comfy bed and hot shower after spending 3 weeks on the AT. Antonia was always prompt, friendly, nd efficient in communication, and we will certainly seek out this property again when we’re in the area!

The cabin is located in a secluded area, beautify scenery and the view from the labyrinth was spectacular, even in the rain.
Cabin is nice, very rustic and the upstairs loft is a cozy bedroom space, however there is no bathroom upstairs. Climbing up and down the stairs are not for the faint of heart!

Cozy and Comfortable
This was a beautiful place to escape to. The property was well secluded, the hike to the hill top was amazing. We saw lots of wildlife and it was so peaceful and quiet. the beds were comfortable, kitchen had what we needed and although we didn't need it, the cell reception was excellent. Thank you for offering such a cozy rustic place of solitude.

Cozy, rustic cabin in a beautiful, quiet, rural setting.
We were very satisfied with everything. We loved the setting and the peaceful surroundings. It was a good place to celebrate our anniversary and close to Lexington where there are good restaurants. When we arrived there were flowers, wine, and candy left there for us. We would recommend to anyone who enjoys this type of setting.

We stayed for three nights in August and enjoyed our visit. The cabin is quiet and peaceful, but is convenient to Lexington, too. It had everything we needed, was easy to arrange, and the property owner and manager are easy to reach, quick to respond. There weren't any surprises. The photos accurately portrayed the property.
There is a loft that will sleep two adults and a first-floor bedroom that will sleep two. You need to be spry to use the rustic stairs up to the loft, but the first floor bedroom is available. I'd probably restrict the loft to adults and teens since children could easily climb under the loft rail. We used the loft exclusively, though, and loved it!
