Agrangesud is a large, holiday home for all ages and consists of the four bedroom Farmhouse and the two bedroom Barn which are linked via their sitting rooms. This offers the perfect way of holidaying with friends or family and offers the most flexible holiday accommodation for our guests as they can all holiday together in one villa, but still enjoy their own space. The villa suits all ages and group sizes and each year we welcome couples as well as large family groups or group of friends.
The villa is very easy to reach including direct flights from all over the UK to Bergerac. Then a relaxed 20 minute drive to the villa.

This beautiful farmhouse is located in a stunning area of south west France, in the Western Dordogne close to the pretty towns of Bergerac, Duras and Eymet. The location is perfect for golfers as it overlooks the fairways of Chateau Vigiers, voted the best golf hotel in France and very welcoming to holiday golfers. Guests at La Grange enjoy 30% reduced green fees and can hire golf trolleys, bags and clubs provided by Tracey, the owner for only £10 per set. Vigiers also has a Michelin Star restaurant as well as a brasserie.

Ground Floor
Lavender Suite - French doors lead from this bedroom to the balcony with beautiful views. Guests in this bedroom suite love having their early morning coffee on the balcony which faces south and catches the early morning sun. This room also has a window overlooking the pool. The Lavender Suite has an en suite shower room with large walk in shower. The bedroom has a flat screen TV and a day sofa which can convert to a single bed, air conditioning and a super king oak framed bed.
Yellow Suite - leading from the dining room with a large en suite bathroom with traditional French bath and large walk in shower. There is a flat screen TV and super king bed which can also convert to 2 singles if required.

Rose Suite - lovely views overlooking the valley with an en suite shower, flat screen TV and day sofa which converts to single bed, air conditioning.
Green Suite - super views with an en suite shower room, flat screen TV, air conditioning and twin beds which can convert to a super king
THE BARN
Guests enter The Barn from The Farmhouse sitting room via oak door and into the open plan sitting room, kitchen/dining area.
The Barn Ground Floor
This is a beautiful open plan space with a sitting area around the television with oak side tables, a dining area with glass Italian tables and chairs and a large kitchen. The kitchen has a Rangemaster stove, granite work tops and pretty views down the little lane. A travertine cloakroom leads from the sitting area with a toilet, sink and shower.

Master Bedroom
2 large velux windows and guests love to watch the incredible night sky from the comfort of the super king bed as well as the air conditioning.
Twin Bedroom

These share a bathroom with a large Sottini double ended bath
All 6 bedrooms have hairdryers, high quality mattresses.
Each guest is provided with a pool towel and 2 bathroom towels.
All wardrobes have a good selection of hangers for both shirts, dresses and trousers
GROUNDS
Enjoy the heated pool with great views. It has a retractable cover operated in under 8 seconds, guests can enjoy warm swimming from Easter until the beginning of November. The pool terrace has lots of sun loungers and large sun shades. There is also a covered dining area with a large Kettler table and plenty of chairs for all guests with comfortable chair pads. This dining area is very close to the kitchen for convenience when enjoying outdoor dining. The Weber gas and charcoal BBQs are also stored here and we provide all BBQ cooking equipment. The pool is kept pristine by our pool man who visits twice a week.
The gardens extend to two acres with lots of room for guests to have space to enjoy ball games as well as being able to find a quiet space for relaxation.
The Upper Garden extends to one acre and is on the same level as the villa and the pool area. This garden has woodland bordering the grounds on one side and at the far end table and chairs for watching the golfers and the donkeys in the next field. The super size trampoline with enclosure and steps is also here as well as the bike store and Little Tikes play area.
The Lower Garden leads down wide steps from the pool area. Another way of reaching it our guests tell us, is that they enjoy walking down the little lane and then down a grassy track to this beautiful garden area. Guests can enjoy the luxury hammocks as well as a game of table tennis here. There is also a Kettler table and chairs around an ancient well. The lower garden lies alongside the golf fairways and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views down the valley with a sundowner.
The Barn has a beautiful decked area leading from the sitting room. There are fantastic views from the Barn and the Barn terrace. This lovely deck has a large Jacuzzi, outdoor dining area and relaxing Day Bed. As explained in the Hot Tub detail the Hot tub is free when booked during school holidays or for holidays of more than 2 weeks. For other weeks there is a weekly £250 charge if our guests would like to use it.
The Farmhouse has a large travertine balcony leading from the sitting room with a large dining table and chairs, as well as a small coffee table and chairs and a swing seat. This balcony has glass balastrades for making the most of the beautiful views.
DINING AT THE VILLA
We have links with local chefs we can offer affordable in house dining with a range of options includes a Taster Menu, fixed price menus, BBQ boxes delivered to the villa, wine tasting, canapes, arrival meals for the oven and picnics. Enjoy a relaxing meal without worrying about paying for taxis and babysitters!
INFANTS AND TODDLERS
No need to bring anything with you, we can provide everything you need and do not charge for anything. Please ask Tracey for the infant list if required. Our younger guests can also enjoy a Little Tikes Play Area, see saw, sand pit, and lots of toys, DVDs and books! We can also advise on family friendly restaurants and wine tasting.
CYCLING AND HIKING
The extensive network of quiet single track lanes surrounding the villa ensures fantastic cycling and walking. A range of bikes are provided for all ages, as well as helmets and water bottles.
Tracey the owner offers a complimentary concierge holiday service for assistance and booking for wine tasting, golf, restaurants, day trips, taxis, beauty treatments, yoga, and indeed can help with every aspect of your holiday planning for a stress free experience.

Lovely farmhouse accommodation in beautiful countryside
We enjoyed a large family reunion in this beautiful part of the world. Our farmhouse was perfect with an attached barn conversion for the adults who wanted a little respite from the boisterous children at times! There is a gorgeous swimming pool and amazing jacuzzi that came into its element when the weather was not so good. There are many little terraces with table and chairs for a quiet read or evening drinks and plenty of space for the littlees to play. However the pool was by far the main attraction for them! We thoroughly enjoyed having all the bikes and there are numerous walks to enjoy the stunning countryside. The shops are 10-15 minutes drive away and there is a choice of local tennis courts. I thought the proximity to the golf course would be a negative but actually it was a positive, not only for the golf enthusiasts, but it also offered beautiful views and the little lakes of an evening walk were full of delightful little otter like mammals.
Although a few bedrooms were fairly small they all had lovely en suites which were a godsend when we all wanted a showers at the same time!
The only addition we would have appreciated was a hard copy manual of all the house rules/ information and local amenities etc. It was great having it all on line prior to arrival but a hard copy to peruse options for outings and rubbish info etc would have been useful.
All in all we highly recommend Le Grange Sud for a relaxed holiday stay in the beautiful Dordogne.
I must mention most importantly Tracey our host went above and beyond, she was so kind and helpful on all matters even buying various sporting products on Amazon on my behalf in readiness for your holiday. Also the housekeeper is brilliant and very sweet and babysat at short notice so that we could all go out and enjoy the local French cuisine one evening.

Wonderful Property and host
We requested a booking in April 2022 for 3 nights at very short notice, Tracey was great from start to finish making everything run so smoothly. The property has everything you could need for both adults and Children.
Situated just south west of Bergerac, surrounded by vineyards, the area is very idyllic

Beautiful property in excellent location.
This beautiful property has been renovated to a very high standard. It was luxurious and comfortable with lots of space. There are different terraces and lots of wonderful outdoor furniture to enable everyone to be comfortable wherever they choose to be, with the group or in your own hidden corner of the gardens. The swimming pool is fabulous.
Beds were comfortable with quality bed linen and lovely en suite bathrooms.
Kitchens were extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Highly recommend.

Super family villa next to a great golf course
Our extended family had a really great holiday in this luxury villa with lots of equipment and facilities for all ages. We had two infants also and Tracey made sure we had all the baby equipment we needed so that we could fly.

Super family villa
We visited La Grange with our whole family with an age range from 6 months to 80 years and all had a great holiday. The villa has facilities for all ages to keep everyone happy and we all enjoyed the family friendly local vineyards and restaurants. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked for next year!

Fabulous villa in a great location
La Grange Sud is a beautiful villa with stunning views and in a great location with something for everyone within a 30 minute drive. The villa itself had everything you could ever need and the owners can't do enough to help ensure you have an amazing time. Fantastic for kids - we did canoeing doen the Dordogne, Chateau Bridoire and Accrobranche (both a MUST if you have kids). Such a lovely holiday in the most beautiful region of France. We didn't want to leave......

Best French Villa we’ve been to!
Our family lives all over the world and most years we try to meet up in France for a reunion. It is very time consuming to find a villa that suits all the ages in our family which range from 2 years to 82 years! Now that we have discovered La Grange we don’t need to look any further and will definitely be returning. Tracey the owner made everything so easy for us from the time we enquired and the whole experience was a pleasure. The house had everything we all needed and we all had a great holiday. Highlights were; having the chef to cook for us and drop off meals, playing golf at Vigiers and borrowing the golf equipment as the villa so we didn’t have to bring it with us, cycling to the great restaurants and of course enjoying the lovely pool with the views. Can’t wait to return next year!!!

Perfect "Home Away" from home.
We love holidaying in the Dordogne,and always stay here. It is more than. "Home away" , a perfect spot for all ages, and you can take dogs with you as well, and an enclosed area is provided for them.. The facilities are too numerous to mention, but Tracey's excellent, comprehensive website will give you all the information you need. . Terraces and heated pool and area wonderful..If you can tear yourself away from all that this fantastic property has to offer, in the summer season the night markets in Eymet and Sigoules are great, and also the Sunday morning one in Soumensac. Vineyards, wine tasting, golf etc, all on your doorstep. A superb holiday base.

Our Perfect Holiday Home
As other members of our family have stated in previous reviews,we visit this area regularly,as we love it, and we have family living locally.We always stay here.We take family and friends with us..It provides everything for everyone of all ages,and from a male perspective, the proximity of the golf course at Vigiers ,combined with the 30% discount Tracey has negotiated for guests is great. And, when not playing, the terraces provide excellent views over the course to watch. Heated pool area is great.

Lovely traditional stone house in a fabulous setting - just as described . Very well fitted out and maintained with high quality equipment and Tracey and her team responsive to every request. Visit to Chateau Feely vineyard is a must.

Cycling in the sun
Everything about the property was perfect. Tracey has gone to an enormous amount of trouble to provide every facility. High quality kitchen equipment. There are so many different seating areas that we had a choice of sun or shade right through the day and evening. One of the highlights was a visit to Cafe 1500 in Saussignac. Plenty of good cycling in the area - we took our own, but Tracey provides a good selection of mountain bikes, helmets, kids bikes and even a toddlers carriage to fix to the back of an adult bike

First family holiday to France
after a short flight from southampton we were treated at the airport by chris the taxi transfer (kindly arrange by tracey) and whisked off to la grange with a beautiful 25 minute drive through the french country side. we had our 10 month old son with us and tracey had also arranged a car seat for us to save bringing our own. upon arriving we had some groceries waiting for us(again all got for us from through tracey) so we could eat and have a drink to unwind from the journey and start our holiday! the gite was very clean,tidy and had all the things that you would need and more for a relaxing stay. tracey supplied all we would need for our son,cot bed,monitor (use the plug outside the kitchen window so you can here little one and still enjoy a glass in the evening sun) steriliser etc he throughly enjoyed his stay and especially the pool for which his swimming came on leaps and bounds! all in all myself and my family were extremely impressed with the gite,pool,location and the effort tracey and her team went to to make our sons first holiday an amazing experience for us all. 5 stars and defiantly another list to this beautiful part of france!!!x

Excellent villa, very high standards
Excellent villa, great accommodation with all the extras you could ever need. Fantastic pool, and great location. Only 20 mins from Bergerac airport. Excellent property in beautiful country area,
Although it was low season everything was excellent. Clean, tidy, great facilities and well heated. There is a local golf course and owners provide sets of clubs to use if required. Would highly recommend. Must come back in the summer time and use the pool !!

Loved Dordogne, nice location to explore from
If you like to be away from the bustle of a city or even a town this is a good location. This property is comfortable, reasonably well appointed with a very nice heated pool, though the pool heater is annoyingly close to the beautiful terrace and outside dining area. Golf at Vigiers and biking are really worthwhile here. We and our many guests enjoyed our stay and Tracey was always helpful and responsive. We particularly appreciated her reference of Chris of Minibus47 for tours and taxiing to the airport. We chose France as a destination to be immersed in the french culture and language, so we where a bit surprised by the British experience for service staff and cable channels, great if you want to find Britain in Dordogne.

Perfect stay
From the moment we approached the property, past a myriad vineyards, and parked up outside the lovely house, we knew we were going to absolutely love it. We've stayed in many rentals, both in Europe and in the USA - and this property was the best equipped and most comfortable by far. We felt completely at home throughout our stay and marvelled at the care and attention given to enhance our stay - from the shopping done for us, to the provision of plenty of English plug sockets via extension leads. We even found wine bottle stoppers in the drawer! The beds were deliciously comfortable - the bathrooms contemporary and the whole place was as clean as a whistle. We appreciated having British TV, especially with Euro 2016 to watch with English commentaries. The pool was an absolute delight to cool off in and relax. We enjoyed watching the golfers teeing off (not always very well!) and listening to the blackbirds chirping in the trees, and the frogs croaking in the distance. We talked to the little lizards (as you do). We had wonderful weather - a bit of a heat wave - only marred on the Friday after the Brexit vote dampened our spirits and dampened the ground with a thunder shower or two. Lastly, but not least, Tracey was an absolute joy to work with! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your idyll!

Wonderful Luxury Villa where pets are allowed.
It is so rare to find a Luxury Villa like La Grange where you are allowed to take your pets, We have stayed here several times even before we had a dog to take on holiday .Perfect location, overlooking Chateau du Vigier golf course,with lovely walks, quiet roads for cycling ,villages and their markets to visit, vineyards for wine tasting, and restaurants, all in the vicinity.Thats if you can tear yourself away from La Grange ! The lovely heated pool and surrounding terraces and gardens makes one want to just relax ! Inside is equipped to a very high standard also.

Excellent séjour entre amis dans une très agréable, charmante et confortable maison, au calme dans la campagne périgourdine.
Quatre belles chambres avec 4 grandes salles de bain ( un vrai plus !), idéal pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis.
Piscine chauffée extérieure de bonne taille et très agréable. Tout est prévu pour se détendre et Tracey veille au moindre détails en hôtesse attentive et disponible.

Lovely Gite for a great quiet getaway
This is a really lovely Gite for a great quiet getaway. The pool is great and the location lovely. Well equiped kitchen - no need to take your own knives and lovely areas to eat in order to catch the sun all day long. You definitely need transport to get around though, no quick stroll to the patisserie for your morning croissant. Tracey was amazingly helpful and she will do anything for you to make your stay as memorable as possible. We would recommend Chateau Vigiers for lunch. Eymet is a lovely town to visit to eat of an evening, especially the Italian (sorry French food lovers!). Chateau Monbazillac is a great place to go for your sweet wine tasting and indeed to buy some. The staff are amazingly helpful and their English good. An amazing night sky - try lying on the pool loungers wrapped in a throw and take stock. Absolutely beautiful.

wonderful relaxing holiday home
We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. Before our arrival the owner was so helpful, arranging a birthday meal out and taxi on our son's birthday. This was a fantastic experience at restaurant Moutiers. She also arranged a vets appointment for our dog prior to returning home. Nothing was too much trouble. The house and grounds were wonderful and the boys all played golf a few times at vigiers which the house overlooks.
A lovely welcome pack and local wines awaited our arrival.
We visited the market in ste foy about 10 minutes away and st Emillion about 40 minutes away.
Our dog was welcome and she had a great time too wandering in the large garden. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms lovely and modern. All was immaculately clean for our visit thanks to Adele.
We would love to return and stay longer one day!

On arrival we were thrilled with the whole property.the bedrooms where all en suite a and superb.The kitchen is large and very thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Outside is great; a lovely heated pool which has a easy to use vaulted cover. There are many places outside where we ate, either in the shade, or in full sun. There is a terrace overlooking the golf course. Here where another great seating area. It was great to have satellite TV and an enormous choice Of DVD's. We went to a outside Market on the Saturday which was really great.We got our pressie shopping out of the way!

Beautiful property with everything you need
An absolutely brilliant week in the sun. The property offers great accommodation - a true 'home' away from home. It is immaculately clean and well presented, with all the facilities you require and more. The outside space is lovely with stunning views and peace and tranquillity (just the odd sound of a golf ball being struck down the fairway and at night the chorus of Cicadas and Frogs). The pool provides a great central point for gathering and enjoying the sunshine or sitting in the shade. My son lived mainly in the water for the week. For eating out nearby I highly recommend Le Lion D'Or in nearby Saussignac - we received a very warm welcome when we dined there one evening and the food was excellent. We also tried Les Fresques at Chateau des Vigiers for the first time. This was the best (and probably the most expensive) meal we have ever eaten. Well worth it for a special occasion......or just because you're on holiday!

Great location and nicely put together Gite makes the perfect recipe for a relaxing holiday. Couldn't get closer to the Golf at Chateau des Vigiers, yet perfect for non-golfers too. We had a relaxing stay and used the heated pool daily and ventured out to recommended restaurants and markets which were all excellent. Lots of local vineyards to visit and we found a wonderful one near Duras called Domaine Gourdon who had excellent wine! We'll certainly be back!!

Having stayed in a nearby property in October 2014 with family and friends, we wanted to come back out of season to try the area again. Travelling as a couple this time, we had a very relaxing break in the beautiful surroundings. The house has everything you need for a great holiday whether travelling as a couple, family or group of friends. It is very clean, well maintained and well equipped. The help and information provided by the owner ahead of our visit was second to none and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this property to family and friends (and have done so).

A week at la grange was a perfect way to get ready for christmas. We stocked up on local wines to take back home. We also went christmas shopping to bordeaux and bergerac. We also stocked up on foie gras and other special foods. Will return next year.

What a great Spring holiday we had at La Grange! We loved the cottage with the beams and open fire making it really special and romantic. The central heating was also appreciated accasionally in the evenings, but the cottage keeps very cosy so it wasn't needed often. We enjoyed playing golf at Chateau Vigiers very much. We also loved wine tasting in Monbazillac and St Emillion and of course locally with Caro at Feely Wines in Saussignac. Being keen cyclists we were delighted to find that all the bikes at La Grange were new and of excellent standard to road cycling and we enjoyed many long rides on quiet single track country lanes. We usually ended up at a restaurant of course, with the Tour de Vent being memorable and also Famille Moutiers.
We usually managed lunch on the balcony in the sun, and in the evenings really relaxed with a DVD and local wine! Thanks for lots of memories for a special holiday and hope to return next March.

Early spring break in this lovely villa.It has been equipped to the highest standard and benefits from central heating as well as a fireplace in the lounge so is ideal for breaks at any time of the year.The weather was perfect for golfing, and the non golfers can even wave to the golfers in the party when they play the hole in front of La Grange.We enjoyed lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and also visiting the many pretty villages in the area. Loads of superb restaurants to enjoy delicious meals.Everything is provided at L a Grange if you like to eat in, including traditional and gas BBQs.It is not the first time we have stayed here, and we highly recommend it, to groups of all ages.
