About this house rental
Sandy Sea-cret is a custom-designed vacation rental. It is a newly built ocean-front home that is a true beach front house . It is located in a brand new gated development with in the city of Galveston (NOT a west end island home with a 30 minute drive to Galveston). It is minutes away from the major attractions. The house offers super easy beach access and amazing panoramic views of the Gulf!
It is a spacious 3-story house that has 3506 sq ft of living space plus over 900 sq ft of the oceanfront deck area. The property has 5 bedrooms: 3 bedrooms each with a king-size bed and a private en suite bathroom, 1 bedroom with 2 queen-size beds, and 1 bunk bedroom with 6 custom-built bunk beds. The beach house can accommodate groups of up to 16 people.
We don’t use any management companies. We operate this property fully by ourselves! This means that we are available 24/7 for our guests and that our guests are our absolute top priority. We go above and beyond to ensure that those who stay at our beach house have an amazing experience and make lifelong memories!

THIRD FLOOR
• MASTER BEDROOM 2: king-size bed, fireplace, en suite bathroom with double sinks, walk-in tile shower, stand-alone bathtub, walk-in closet. The bedroom has an ocean view and access to the balcony with sitting chairs.
• GUEST BEDROOM: king-size bed, a custom-made oversized armoire for storage, en suite bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in tile shower. This bedroom also has an ocean view and access to the balcony with sitting chairs.
• QUEEN BEDROOM: 2 queen-size beds, walkout balcony viewing the city of Galveston.
• BUNK BEDROOM: 6 custom bunk beds with XL twin mattresses.
The Queen Bedroom and Bunk Bedroom share a bathroom with double sinks and a separate walk-in shower room.
• CUPOLA: spiral stairs to the third floor, amazing view from the highest point of the house.
HOUSE RULES
• Must be 30 years old or older to book the property. All reservations are subject to a signed Short-term Rental Agreement. The guests must review, sign, and send back the rental agreement along with a copy of a valid ID within 48 hours of the booking.
• No loud large gatherings (no spring break groups, parties, or prom celebrations, no youth groups without adult supervision).
• No more than 16 people including kids, infants, and day-time visitors in the house at all times.
• Our house is not child-proofed (no locks on cabinet doors, no outlet plug covers, there are knives in the kitchen drawers, etc.). Parents will be responsible for walking through the house and identifying hazards to their children.
• No smoking (the rule includes: no smoking inside, on the balconies, no e-cigarettes), no drugs, no drug paraphernalia, and no underage drinking.
• Pets of any kind are NOT allowed anywhere on the premises (inside or outside the house).
• Driveway parking only. Our driveway can accommodate up to 6 mid-sized vehicles. No street parking (strict HOA rule). We do have designated overflow onsite parking within 2 minutes of walking time.
• During holidays and weekends the minimum stay is 2 nights.
RENTAL AGREEMENT
All our reservations are subject to a signed short-term rental agreement. The rental agreement contains the basic information about the property, house rules, cancellation policy, etc.
The guests must review, sign, and return the signed agreement along with a copy of a valid ID within 48 hours of the booking confirmation. Otherwise, the reservation will be canceled. We use DocuSign to send our rental agreement to make it convenient for our guests to sign it digitally.
Sometimes we receive multiple inquiries for the same dates. We confirm reservations ONLY after we receive the signed rental agreement. We do not hold dates for our guests.
CANCELLATION
• Our reservations are NON-refundable and NOT re-schedulable.
• If you are concerned about the possibility of rescheduling, early departure, or cancellation for ANY reason, we strongly suggest that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment. It will help protect your investment and will save you a lot of headaches.
SAFETY DEVICES
We have 3 Ring Doorbell cameras overlooking our driveway, ground level, and backyard. We also have security cameras facing the driveway, ground level, backyard, and second-floor balcony. All devices will be on during your stay. Cameras are only used for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the house.

We all loved the shaded deck in late afternoons and evenings, Our location was just a short drive to the Pier and all our young people really enjoyed the rides and gift shop. We could not have imagined a more perfect house for my 3 kids and 8 grandkids to enjoy Galveston. House was great we enjoyed our stay emensely. When we visit Galveston which is frequently ewe usually go to East beach so we were right at home fishing and having fun on the beach. The house was very comfortable, very well equipped with everything you need. There were signs everywhere you turned that told you what not to do, and I mean everywhere which was a bit of a put off. The family couldn’t stop thanking us for finding and booking this hidden gem. This is the place to stay if you want the best beachfront property in Galveston.

Gary and Anna have a beautiful home in Galveston. It worked perfectly for 8 adults. We surprised our Mom for her 60th birthday and had a blast on the beach.
Great amenities at this home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is huge and works great for big groups. The locals are friendly and have tons of recommendations for what to do in Galveston. 10/10 would recommend this home!

The house is beautiful, and the location provides a perfect balance between being close to stores and restaurants, but without packed beaches.
The deceiving part of the listing (in a good way) is how big the bunk room is! It’s huge, with lots of space. The living room also easily accommodated everyone with space to spare.
Gary was able to call and provide very clear instructions about the elevator, and we had zero issues. There are instructions and FYIs throughout the house which was really helpful.
My family is pretty picky and there wasn’t a single complaint. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and I hope we can revisit the property again in the future. Very highly recommend!!!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Sandy Sea-Cret! Great location, both on the island and beachfront with easy access to the beach. Spacious deck and fully stocked home with all the necessary items you might need. Owners have done a phenomenal job providing directions (and even informative instructional videos!) on how various things around the house work making it fool proof! It was the perfect fit for our family and we can’t wait to come back!

Breathtakingly beautiful home and view. The home was very clean. It had everything one could need. Location close to restaurants and activities. The view of the Gulf was incredible and a very close walk to beach.
The home was very spacious, with lots of room for family members to hang together, or have privacy if you wanted it.

We had a group comprised of 4 moms and 8 teenagers. The property was perfect for our group to have a relaxing and memorable get together. The owners have thought of all the things, many that we forgot not having been to the beach in a long while! The kitchen is fabulous and made it easy to bring food we could cook and eat there. The bedrooms are roomy and all rooms are well appointed and decorated beautifully. Being on the beach was a priority for us and the location delivered! So easy to walk out and be on the beach in seconds or sit on the expansive deck and enjoy the sound and view of the waves. We ventured to the seawall and a restaurant one night and it was fabulous how close we were to all the popular spots. Our favorite thing might have been the fire pit with ample seating to make s’mores and hang out together. All in all a fabulous property and we can’t wait to return for our next Galveston trip!

We are a group of 8 women who have known each other for 50+ years% we have been taking a yearly trip together for the past 21 years. This has been one of the very best places w have stayed! The house was PERFECT! Plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Great location to town and beautiful view of the beach. The hosts were also very, very nice and helpful.
We will be going back again next year!!

We rented this house while our mother in law was undergoing treatment at UTMB and it was the center piece of a wonderful Galveston visit.
The house and property are immaculate. Everything is conveniently labeled, you know what every switch, button, and appliance does and how to operate it at a glance. The owner has an amazing attention to detail, Gary and Anna have thought of everything you need for a great vacation. The elevator enabled our mother in law to be able to enjoy the house along with us. Everyone was happy and we have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

The house is so beautiful and offers many amenities. The setting right on the beach is breathtaking. You can sit on one of the decks for hours enjoying the view.
There were ten of us staying here and cannot wait to come back!

The house was perfect for 4 families. Each family could have their own bathroom and the bunk room was great for 6 teenage boys. We wish the weather could have been better, but we enjoyed the house and the view.
Only issue was the alarm system. Doors had to be closed and it was a learning process with 15 people, but we got it. The alarm went off on our last night and all doors were shut closed. Nothing was open. We had to then go through and open and close doors to reset the contacts. The alarm is piercing on the main floor. Other than that, the house was great.

We went here for a quick spring break trip. Unfortunately the weather was not good. Thankfully the house was nice and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and were grateful to have an elevator for our handicap daughter. We did lose power for quite some time the last day. It would be nice if the house was stocked with flashlights and other emergency supplies when this happens. We ended up leaving an entire day early but were not compensated.
We’ve stayed on the island in several different areas. We liked this area with a private beach, small quiet community, yet it wasn’t far from restaurants and other activities.

The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen, lots of beach chairs and toys and the bedrooms were quiet, you could not hear others in the house. Excellent location for beach access, viewing beach or incoming ships plus easy access to activities or restaurants on the island. Plenty of room for everyone with nice en suite bathrooms. The only complaint is the extremely loud alarm system, it was annoying because of all the false alarms, and not being able to see (on an alarm pad) or find which door was setting the alarm off. Like another guest wrote in their guest book…if it was a true emergency, a fire danger, we would all be running around trying to figure out what door was open, i.e. not vacating for safety and we agree. We also understand 100% the requirement to not leave doors open and we were very careful in closing the doors in a timely manner yet even when absolutely closed the door(s) within the time allotted the alarm would go off or sometimes we would be in the house and the alarms would start going off and no one was even opening any door. This happened numerous times and again it is an extremely loud alarm. One time a few of our party members were inside working remote and it went off. We would go around opening & shutting doors trying to get it to stop which might take 5 minutes. An alarm pad signaling the specific door causing the alarm would certainly be helpful. Otherwise we really enjoyed our holiday!

This was our second January stay at Sandy Sea-cret. I can’t imagine a more beautiful and welcoming home for a winter getaway. The view from the large Gulf-facing windows is incredible! The house is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We alternated eating out at some of Galveston’s great restaurants and cooking for our group of 9, and found the kitchen to be very well-stocked with everything we needed. This is one of the absolute best properties my family and I have rented. Gary was very communicative, and the check-in process was seamless. The home is even better in person, and it is clearly lovingly cared for. Despite the dreary weather the first few days, the comfort of the home made our time indoors fabulous.

We had a family reunion at this beautiful home, with 8 adults and six kids ages 11-78. Every one of us absolutely loved our stay here.
The home was super comfortable, well stocked and with clear instructions. Owners Anna and Gary were impressively responsive when we needed help, even though they were on vacation.
The elevator made this family vacation possible for our group, that was the icing on the cake.

This house had everything we could think of. The bedrooms were perfect, the kitchen was fully stocked, beautiful views, fire pit was perfect for s’mores and the hot tub was great for our sore muscles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again next year.

Our yearly Family Beach trip to Galveston is loved by every family member. Young and old alike, we all love it. As our family has continued to grow, we have to constantly seek longer and we’ll equipped homes. This summer we had the Best ever rental. The beautiful home has plenty of room, a fully stocked kitchen, outstanding patio furniture, and is super close to the beach. Everything was just great! Everyone is ready to go back to this home next year.
