House was loved by guests for being spacious, well-maintained, and close to amenities, making it perfect for large groups and family gatherings.

Very clean, nicely decorated place. Some issues with check in when the door wouldn't unlock with the code.
5.0 / 5.0
We had 12 people in our group, the house is very spacious. We loved that it had 2 kitchens and plenty of beds. The host was available whenever I had questions.

Our group absolutely loved the house. Plenty of room and had more cots and air mattresses if needed. Great stay. And close (walking distance) to a cute neighborhood with restaurants and coffee shops

We had a blast at the Gray Whale! The communication was excellent from the host and the house was very well maintained and had plenty of room.
4.0 / 5.0
Great for multi family groups, we were able to spread out and have some quiet spaces. The house is well equipped with bath and kitchen items and suggestions from the hosts.
Only minus--the grill is pretty rusted out , probably needs to be replaced.
4.0 / 5.0
We loved the arrangement of living quarters and the room for plenty to choose where to sleep. However, for older groups, you may want to consider adding more lighting at the stairs. We had two instances where a couple of people almost fell because they couldn't see where the steps met the landing. The house was VERY clean, and the managers were quick to respond when we had a problem. We would stay at the Gray Whale again if the opportunity arises!

This is a great property to host a large group. Multiple gathering spaces on two floors, two fully equipped kitchens, ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Hosts very responsive and accommodating to special requests. The location is great, easy access to interstate and 10 minutes or less from locations in Cinncinnati or Northern Kentucky

A group of us were in town for NCECA, the annual ceramic conference. The Gray Whale was perfect for our group. We used the downstairs for our communal space and the upstairs for quieter conversations. The location was only three miles from the convention center and has several restaurants and businesses nearby.
We all agreed we would definitely book this accommodation again if we were to find ourselves back in Cincinnati in the future.

The house had everything we were looking for. It was clean and well stocked. We had a very positive experience.

We used this location as one of two properties for bringing a large group down to northern Kentucky for 2-3 days of activities and couldn't have been happier. The home lived up to our expectations and our communications with the host were by far the best I've experienced with VRBO. I can't say enough what a help the hosts were and would recommend them and their properties to anyone! If you're in the Cincy/N Kentucky area and need a space for a group or large family gathering, you'll find this will fit the bill!

This house served the purpose with plenty of places to lay your head, counting couches, but not nearly enough bathrooms. Also not enough eating seating. I thought it would be closer to the city and Blink but it was too far to walk. Didn’t know that until way after we paid for it.

Fabulous house for a large family
We stayed at this property with 4 of our adult children and their partners. Everyone was comfortable and the a/c was fantastic during the heat wave. I can't say enough about how clean and thoughtful the property is, and it was great having bedrooms on the first floor because one of us was in a wheelchair. If our son gets married in Cincinnati, we will stay here again!

I stayed here for my bachelorette party! We had a large crew, and there were beds for everyone! The double kitchens are great, and this house is huge!! We were able to spread out and get comfortable in the home. I would definitely stay here again!

My sisters bachelorette weekend getaway
This house was absolutely perfect, it was exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway. It was super clean and very spacious for all us girls. The two kitchens were helpful and nice to have an extra fridge for food and drinks. I’m so glad we decided to book this house. Thank you again!

Family christmas
Our kids and Grandkids came in from out of town. Seldom do we get them all together there are 16 of us total.
The house was huge and beautiful.
We all enjoyed our stay very much.
My only negative would have to be all the garbage over flowing the cans at the curb..I guess when they came and cleaned before us they took it from the side of the house to the curb..it was an eye sore as the family arrived it was the first thing seen.
Other than that it was purpose

Exceptional!!!
This is by far the best rental that we’ve stayed in!! We needed somewhere for our entire family while in town for a wedding. We had 15 of us and it was not crowded at all. We could have slept several more easily. The owners thought of everything! There were plenty of blankets, rollaway beds, air mattresses, and loads of extra linens and towels. The cleanliness was exceptional as well! My mom commented that it was the first place she’s ever stayed where she didn’t feel the need to re-clean the bathrooms! LOL I can’t say enough about the house and how wonderful our stay was. Thank you so very very much!

Perfect big family get together home!
We stayed here with my elderly parents along with my 4 siblings and our adult kids. The house was clean and well stocked, we actually brought more than we needed. We made all our meals and there were plenty of pots, pans, kitchen utensils, mixers, and two coffee pots. There were two kitchens one on main floor, which we used, and a second one on the second floor. There was not a lot of countertop space but we made it work. The two rooms downstairs were good for those that have trouble with stairs but the shower on the main floor was not a walk-in in shower. We planned ahead and brought a shower transfer chair for my mom and an elevated toilet seat. There were three steps to get into the house but we were able to get our mom in. There were PLENTY of sleeping spaces and lots of blankets and sheets available. This place could actually sleep 8 on the main floor, 8-11 on the second floor, and 6 on the third floor. It had one bathroom on the main floor and two on the second floor, none on the third floor.
One of my brothers lives in Cincinnati and he has a 1 yr old that came and stayed the day with us. There were toys and baby gates which was awesome!
The living/gathering space on the main floor was great and there was a second living:gathering space on the second floor. The two gathering spaces were nice for the groups to split. It was cold outside while we were there but the heater did great keeping it warm on the first and second floors. The third floor was chilly where 4 of the beds are located. They did have modern space heaters that we used to keep warm up there.
Only thing I rated 4 stars was for location. While we had ZERO issues with any of the neighbors however, the location was not on a great “side of town”. Again we had zero issues with anyone and felt safe in the home, however not great for taking walks. It was super close to a nice hometown small business shopping area and the Newport on the Landing mall and aquarium was close.
There was a train track nearby and you could hear the train but it wasn’t bad.
Communication with the property managers was excellent!!!
Highly recommend!

Gray Whale Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at the Gray Whale! The accommodations were fabulous for our family of 13 adults and 4 children! Lots of room for everyone!!! Ample towels, kitchen supplies and small appliances were great for large groups. The only recommendation I would make is an electric griddle to help in preparing breakfast for a large group. The 3 bathrooms worked out well for our group size however the first floor bathroom need an anti slip bath mat inside the tub.
We loved the location, it was easy to get around town and to our family wedding in Cincinnati! We would definitely stay again when we are in Cincinnati! Thank you!

A GREAT PLACE
Great house with lots of room. They supply lots of amenities. Lots to do in the area. We loved the zoo and the ark. Also did some kayaking in the area and did an escape room in Cincinnati. We had a great time and would recommend this house to any group.

Jimmy Buffet trip
Stayed in Cinci for the Jimmy Buffet concert. This beautiful house was perfect for our friend group! Close to Riverbend, places to eat, and the grocery. Such a beautiful, clean house. Would stay again.

Amazing property, well equipped and convenient to Cincy
This house is huge. Two full-sized floors with two kitchens (I.e., 2 fridges, 2 coffeemaker, and 2 dishwashers!) meant we had plenty of room to spread out. The backyard isn’t large but is very functional for yard games, fire pit, grilling, etc. Our kids loved exploring all the nooks and crannies, and the adults appreciated the pool table and shuffleboard. The dining room, with its big table and side tables, fit everyone with no problem. We were especially thankful for the many chairs, the fully stocked kitchen, and lines and towels too. Some places provide the bare minimum but this place had plenty of everything. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return one day!!

This is a marvelous and unique property with many beautiful rooms, thoughtful touches, and one of a kind architectural details. Our gang was able to have great moments together along with lots of private time. The location is a short walk from nice sidewalk breakfast bistros and local brewery. Downtown Cincinnati was a short trip across the river and was fantastic. The kitchen and bath facilities were excellent and we had everything we needed for a wonderful family reunion.
