Perfect place to rest after the walk, the natural baths helped eased our sore legs! Beautiful garden in a picturesque setting.

Stunning location. Very helpful and flexible host. We really liked the new hot spring pool down at the river. Amazing that e could pay with card with no extra charge. Internet was also decent.

One of the most spectacular views I've ever seen in my life can be seen from a little veranda here where we enjoyed our coffee.
This place is great and I highly recommend it. Service is phenomenal, they're fully stocked, the hot tubs are refreshing after a long day hiking, the room is spacious and clean, wifi is strong, and they take credit cards. It very much exceeded my expectations after a long, long day of trekking.
I have nothing negative to say. The place is great.

A beautiful oasis after a challenging hike from cabanconde. Virginia and Eric will make you feel comfortable and welcome. They serve delicious food - sandwiches for lunch and more substantial options for dinner - at very good prices. They also offer water and drinks to enjoy with beautiful mountain views. Their hot spring was delightful under the shade of a banana tree, which you’ll appreciate if you had to hike down in the blazing sun, as we did. The bedrooms are simple but cosy and we slept well. I can’t recommend this place enough. Very good vibes.

This is very basic accommodation in the canyon, but the place is charming. The owner has done a great job creating rustic rooms and bathrooms with showers. The hot spring is great. There are hammocks to relax in. Meals are simple but tasty. A great place to stay after hiking.

Basic but clean rooms set in a lovely garden with hot pools and plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks. The owner is very nice too, so is breakfast and dinner. If you’re hiking Colca Canyon, this is one if two places you should stay. The other is Colibri Lodge. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. The person that is running the place is really nice. He made me lunch with what he had when I came in.
I paid in total 85 soles for a private room, lunch, dinner, breakfast is included and 2 bottles of water!
Hammocks are a nice touch and the hot baths was welcome after the hike. Restful, peaceful.
Room was spacious enough and bed comfortable.
There is no reception or place were you can really found the staff, so If you need something you have to look around and try to found someone.

great tranquil place in the canyon. loved the hammocks with excellent view. great food at a very fair price
when we were there 2 of the 3 thermal pools didn’t work - but we didn’t really care. one was enough to sit in and relax :)

The hot tubs are not on the river but they were good anyways

Very quiet with a beautiful location. Great hot springs for soaking your legs after a long hike. The food was nothing fancy but delicious. Veggies catered for. The staff were so nice and polite.
Wish we got there a little earlier to chill in one of the few hammocks. The view was stunning

The owner/host is very friendly and does everything to make your stay enjoyable. Both the breakfast and dinner were great. The overall ambience was very relaxed and the hot springs are perfect to recover from a day of hiking

What a beautiful and relaxing place! I could have stayed one extra night just to enjoy the garden.
View was great, and there was a lot of space so you could be alone if you wanted.
One of the showers was a little bit difficult, but the owner was very quick to show us the "good" one, no problems with that.

This place was paradise! So much nicer than I was expecting. The views are stunning and the gardens are gorgeous. There's grass terraces to relax with lounge chairs and hammocks to nap in. There's full electricity with pretty decent wifi. Meals were delicious with vegetarian options (15 soles for supper and 10 for lunch). We ended up staying two nights cause of how chill it was. Nothing could beat relaxing in their private hot springs with a 25 sol bottle of wine.

we went fishing with Fabian. it was one of the most fun experiences!
Beautiful location above the river with many fruit trees.
pretty lounging areas with hammocks & thermal baths.
yummy breakfast.
cabins built out of rock which keep it warmer inside.
our room smelt a little of cat pee. no one else mentioned this though.

Our stay at Casa de Virginia was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we enjoyed using the thermal bath to rest our tired muscles, and dinner and breakfast were excellent. A great place to break from hiking in the canyon.
Nothing - everything was good.

The grounds were beautiful with multiple alcoves to relax and enjoy the view. Yhe hammocks are a great touch we really enjoyed!
The hot springs were just as good as you'd expect after a day on the trail. Super nice to be able to soak in the late afternoon. Hot showers were also a nice perk!
Lastly the food and host were great, we always felt welcomed and well taken care of. Dinner and breakfast were good. We really enjoyed our stay.

Host was very accomodating and made sure that the stay was perfect. Some issues with the hot springs were properly dealt with to still allow me to enjoy the canyon to the fullest!

We had a very nice stay. Casa de Virginia is 'the other hotel' next to the more wellknown Lluahar lodge. Because of unexpected circumstances, we could compare both hotels, and we really prefer this one. It is more quiet, the view is beautiful and the hot pools are warmer. The food also was really really good and the owner indeed is nice. Rooms could have a bit more light and I think one of the first things to do for the owner, is upgrading the shower, which really is rather primitive. But then with the hot pools and during the walk, expectations are lower of course. Still: a nice place to stay!
