everything was great except that there was no A/C
there was no A/C so room felt really warm.

I like the place that it was located very centric and customer service was great too!
there was no A/C our room was very hot, they only gave us the fan which got me sick but other than that stay was good.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Great location, friendly staff, wonderful rooftop bar! The rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is in an excellent location right in the main square. All the main sights are in walking distance. There are amazing views of the city from the roof top bar and restaurant. A perfect place for a sunset cocktail. The staff were very friendly and helpful- particularly on the front desk. The room was a good size and it was an added bonus to have a separate filtered water tap.
We slept with the window open which meant there was some noise but we did not find it too disturbing.

The hotel is so beautiful in front of the Catedral! It has the best view at the plaza. The staff was the nicest people! The manager, Patricia, was so nice! The food was also so good!
Everything was great!
My stay was great and I am very glad choosing your hotel!

breakfast area, location, decoration in room.
so noisy at night, thin walls, slightly overpriced.

We chose this hotel based on all the reviews and (on balance) it was probably the right decision. The view from the terrace is amazing and breakfast was good. However it is expensive and when we paid this amount elsewhere in Peru we got outstanding service and magnificent breakfasts.
We felt that the management of the hotel needs to be tightened up. We had ordered takeaway breakfast for our 5 am flight, but it wasn’t there when we got up. Whilst the terrace has a lovely view - the sofa doesn’t have a cushion (we asked). Breakfast is good however a little confusing - you have to order every item individually and there is an implication that you only order one dish dash but the hot dishes were very small. Also the waiter forgot some of our order. On Sunday there was a buffet which was much better because you could just help yourself. However, all the dishes didn’t arrive until an hour after service began.

good location, lovely rooms
the staff were awful, very unfriendly and borderline rude. Felt like they didn’t know what they were supposed to be doing. I think perhaps they were inexperienced but then the hotel should not rely solely on inexperienced people.

Excellent location on Plaza de Armas. The restaurant on the roof has a beautiful view of the plaza and the volcanoes.
The staff is great, very helpful. Have to make mention of all the people at the reception- super helpful. Victor who works the door is really all around the hotel and was exceptional. Everyone was friendly.
Very good breakfast!
Spacious room. At the time of booking, Booking.com already gave me an upgrade to a suite. The bathroom also had a separate drinking water faucet. It was great to have this rather than keep on buying bottles of water.
I initially booked only for 2 days. I liked it so much that I stayed there again another 3 days after a trip to the Colca canyon.
People have written about the views from the room already- the construction of the building is such that the windows facing the plaza give views only from their upper half. It wasnt an issue for me.
The noice from outside does carry in. That said, at night it seems generally quiet. On Sunday morning there's a flag ceremony on the Plaza and they start early. I used ear plugs

Very comfortable place to stay and can’t beat the location. Breakfast on the roof is the best.
Some rooms overlook the city’s main square so if there’s anything
going on out there, you’ll likely hear it. That was part of the charm for us.

Perfect, central location on the Plaza de Armas. Comfortable beds. Attentive staff.
4.5
The view from the rooftop restaurant. Really it was a breakfast with a view - to the surrounding volcanos and the Cathedral.
The positioning of the window in the upper part of the wall (due to the old building features) is somehow strange.
Jacuzzi wasn’t working.

beautiful room with great light, amazing location, very cool rooftop bar, friendly staff

The BEST hotel location in all of Arequipa.
Excellent service from all the staff, but especially from Estefany at the terrace restaurant.
Large comfortable and clean room.
Limited privacy in the bathroom;
it has a window opened on the main hall Anyone in the hall could hear what is happening in the bathroom and vice versa.
Also, there is a bright light in the hall that entered that windows, and the large window above the bathroom door let the bright light in at night.
Lastly, the desk area doesn’t fit the elegance of the room and the place would benefit from having a second chair.
Despite all these little things, we had an excellent stay at this beautiful boutique hotel.

Great check-in + help from staff to get to airport
The orange juice was not fresh, bummer for a hotel this quality. I was woken up by every single sound possible coming from all sides through the walls. You can literally pinpoint the exact location of where someone is standing in the room above you with sound alone. The hallway lights are always on, but they also peer through the underside of your door illuminating your room slightly at night, which I also found was quite annoying.

Three things stand out for me: the central location; the friendly, helpful staff; and the spectacular views from the rooftop restaurant, where breakfast is served. The English speaking staff arranged pickup from the train station, found a lab to get our Covid tests, and answered myriad questions. They helped make our visit to this special city even more so.
Our room had no view to the outside, but it was the price we paid for complete quiet.

This hotel has probably one of the best terraces for dinner and breakfast on earth. It is what the pictures show, just overlooking Plaza de Armas with volcanoes in the background. Staff is great, food is tasty.
Just avoid room 401. It was very noisy. 1) there was some horrible noise coming from roof all night. Probably vibrating A/C or fridge of the restaurant. 2) everybody walks close to it after they finish dinner and in the morning for breakfast. So if you are not waking up at 6 am, you will be woken up....

The hotel was very well located, and the room well equipped. The views from the rooftop bar especially at sunset were stunning and very special. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception and bar.
Nothing that I can think of.

The hotel provided blankets when it got cold on the rooftop, where enjoying the view of the plaza at night is awesome. The staff also provided us with boxed breakfast in the morning because we had to leave the town before breakfast dining opened.
4.5
Perfect location, very good view from the rooftop, where you can have breakfast or dinner. Good kitchen, comfortable beds.
All of our rooms (our group had four rooms) had no windows for outside. The windows opened onto an internal 'lichthof' without fresh air. Our room had two levels, so it is not ok, if you have any problems with your legs.

I liked the location and the helpful staff.

We arrived on an overnight bus and were able to check in early and they stored our luggage. Breakfast was on the roof top and off the menu and delicious. The staff were great at giving us a map and directions. Awesome customer service
Can’t say there is anything they could do better. The hotel is located right on the square in the middle of everything.
