The pool was nice, the staff friendly and helpful en the location good if you want to visit the desert.
There was no cleaning service for our room, the water did not work at some point, there was no warm water or even a shower head (was like getting a cold shower from your garden hose). Beds were really hard!

We are in the middle of the desert .We had a clean room nice staff beautiful swimming pool
Very difficult to say as you are in a desert but I think we got a great hotel - couldn't have done this without air conditioning and a pool which this hotel provided

Pool lovely and clean. Rooms very basic but AC and clean.
Restaurant staff lovely but guy at reception very rude and unhelpful. No English but with Google translate and little Spanish and a smile not usually a problem, this guy made us feel very unwelcome. Told us had arranged transport transfer and when didn't arrive was very unapologetic and just laughed. Short walk to town but dark dirt road so do feel so safe walking.

I loved that it had a pool (I didn't end up using it though) but was so nice to have as an option. The hotel is nice, beautiful, and well done. I loved that there was free breakfast too. They originally gave us the wrong room we booked... so make sure to pay attention to the room type you booked/get. The staff is really nice and friendly though. We really enjoyed the staff as they were always so nice and helpful. The room was comfortable - there was 3 of us. REALLY enjoyed having AC since it's so hot. The location is a small walk to the center which isn't too bad. We didn't really need to go to the center because we were on tours all day for Tatacao. When we did go, we walked a few times (at night) and it is completely dark so we didn't really feel safe as 3 women. We ended up taking tuk tuks and it was fine - not expensive at all. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was fairly clean, nice staff, free breakfast, pool, AC - major plus since a lot of places didn't have AC. Would stay here again.
Do NOT do your laundry here. I'm still really really bummed what happened to my clothes. I sent my laundry to get done. The laundry took longer to return than when they said it'd be done which was concerning for me because I was leaving the next day. When they finally gave back my clothes, there were bleach stains all over my black sweatshirt and clothes. Completely ruined. I asked what happened and they said because it was drying in the sun, the sun bleached it. Hm... that's not how it works and I've dried my clothes many many times in the sun and that's never happened. I'm really sad and disappointed because my clothes were completely ruined and now I have to replace the items because the bleach stains are that bad and that noticeable so I can no longer wear them. So do not do your laundry here because they can get ruined. Also, they forgot to give me my shorts back. I didn't notice until later and thankfully told them and they went and grabbed it. So if you do end up doing your laundry here, make sure you get back all of your items. Also, it'd be nice if they added more vegetarian items at the restaurant. Since the hotel is a bit further from the city, being able to just eat the hotel is so nice, but the menu items were very limited. Would be nice if they could add more items to the menu in general and more vegetarian items - thank you!

The room had a nice airconditioning and the pool was very welcomed in the hot area. the hostel is on the edge of the town, you walk to the centre in about 10 minutes. Even though the staff doesn’t speak English, they try to speak as basic Spanish as possible for you to understand (appreciate the effort!)
Rooms were somewhat basic but everything we needed was there. Breakfast was ok but not amazing.

Very nice pool
Prepared us breakfast prior to opening hours since we had to leave at 6 am.
Small portions for breakfast. Additional portion was charged extra and overpriced.

although it was said that we can pay by card (master/visa), they accepted only cash.

The location is great, it's right in the desert. The hotel is beautiful, with plants all around, a comfortable pool and nice breakfast.
To get to the hotel the shortest road is complicated, including a 15 to 25 minutes distance of mud and bumpy road and a ferry that's mandatory because Magdalena River gets in the way. The staff doesn't wear masks, not even the staff that's in the kitchen and serves you your food. The toilet of my room was broken. On the first night there were people in the pool until 4 - 5 am yelling and listening to high music so we couldn't sleep. The bar doesn't offer coctails.

Pool and cafeteria are great. Location is perfect if you want to hike to the desert for sunset or sunrise. There is food at the hotel, but there is also a good (but expensive) restaurant around the corner. The city center is a 10 minute walk.
We booked a 2 bed bedroom for 2 people and it was the right choice. It was also the same price as a double bedroom

The pool was very clean and refreshing, the personnel at the hotel were very attentive, and super helpful, they take security seriously, quiet location, walking distance to town and variety of restaurants, tour guide onsite, free wifi (average of 12mbps), big room, nice views, onsite restaurant has reasonable prices for alcohol and food.
Cold showers (but that is me personally, the weather is very hot, so it isn't completely necessary)
