It’s in a very good location.
Everything was fine.
3.5
Price, it was really cheap
It had a very familiar cosy environment.
The room was too hot and only one fan didn't help much...

Seniora is very nice lady. She prepared the breakfast for the time I asked. Rooms are clean and wifi works good. The garden / patio is unreal (so beautiful!). Also the cutest dog and cats there <3

the location is great
the woman speaks really fast and doesn’t want to slow down when being asked. beds are uncomfortable and shower/toilet was not clean.

Secure bike parking. Breakfast was simple but good.
Mosquito heaven. Not particularly clean.

Economic hostel
A closed metallic door was giving directly on the street, feels like you're in the street... Noisy
Not really sure if you can use the kitchen, you feel like you're not in your place

excelente location and they propose to you a tour in the desert for 120 mil pesos Colombianos . amazing tour with Tatiana she speaks English and Spanish I also recommend to go to the observatory . the lady that manage the hotel are fantastic thank you a lot ♥️

nice location, very good value for money
- The staff is not very helpful nor friendly. No one was here when we arrived, we had to wait for an hour.
- There’s only one key for the dorm, if someone in the dorm lock the dorm accidentally, you have no choice but to knock and wake up people inside.
- The bed sheets were a bit used and dirty. The bathroom is not very clean.

Tour was excellent to the desert that host arranged. Breakfast good. Room clean.

They are really good people, and they came to get me in Neiva cause my bus was late (at a price of course, but a competititve one at least. They also have some really cute and friendly pets.
First of all, my bed sheets on the second night were dirty.
They are so unorganised. I was changed of room 3 times in 2 nights, and the second was at 10:30pm. They moved me to a room when a guy was already sleeping, and the woman just switched on the loght and started talking loudly without caring a bit - I felt so bed for the guy.
The tour guide kind of dragged herself along during the tour, not showing any interest

Great location and comfortable beds, very clean. friendly staff who let us store our bags there while we went to the desert
the communal spaces feel like part of the family home so it’s not a social Hostal

If you`re on a tight budget this is the place for you! The accommodation is very basic but you get everything you need. I think we even got upgraded to a more private room (I booked a dorm) with a private bathroom. The breakfast for 7,000 COP was great and the atrium is like a little jungle with treasures all around - a very unique place indeed. It`s in a private home and the lady of the house is such a lovely and funny person. I felt very well hosted!
Our room wasn`t the cleanest, there was some sand on the sheets but since they dry them outside it might have been from that, The bathroom was also full of bugs and ants, but then again we are in the countryside.

Lovely hosts, incredibly helpful and great at organising transport/tours to the desert. The room was spacious and amazing value for the price! The complementary fruit and coffee were also an unexpected treat. They also let us shower and store our luggage after checkout, giving us more time to explore the desert. We were also able to use the kitchen which was an added benefit!

Great location in the center of Villavieja
No hot water shower, but that's normal in this area, the family that runs a hostel was not very attentive and I felt unwelcomed.

It is a very simple accomodation but with an unbeatable price compared to other options in Villavieja. The accommodation in general is ok, the bathroom is clean and the location is perfect. The owner can arrange tours or taxis for you if you're going to the desert.
This is really a matter of price but the room we got had not very comfortable beds and there was an open window which gave access to insects during the night.

Good location.
the road next to bedroom is so noisy.
I found hair on my bed..
The hostel lady told me the tour was 50.But actually I had to pay extra money 10.
But she didn't tell me in the beginning...
And watching stars with telescope was soso...Person.
We watch total 1 min and listening his talk more than 1 hour... that made me so tired...(other people even they understand fully spanish told me the same...)
But tatacoa desert is awesome.
I recommend you go there by taxi.and watch sunset and come back by taxi.(cost 40)

such a nice place. the owner is so kind and the whole family lives here together. they helped us organising the tour and transport, and did our laundry. she also offered us a very late check out without any extra costs. it’s nothing fancy, but amazing value for money and some wonderful people running it.

The place is in the middle of the little village and also close to the desert. The host is super friendly and from breakfast, room till tours everything is available in Hostal Villa Cecilia.
Check out was a bit earlier as described. Just make sure you communicate your wish check out time. I did not do that.

The hostel has a big garden inside full of fruit trees, friendly pets, and flowers. Señora Cecilia and her daughter Señora Flor are incredible hosts and people who are happy to help, chat, and make you feel at home.

Nice hostel, very cheap, in the centre of the village, very clean.

It's a family home with a nice garden and different rooms around, which they rent out. Very good location and they also organize tours to the desert for a good price.
The beds in the dorm are pretty hard.. I was fine, but if you are sensitive to that, you should reconsider. I think the matresses in the private rooms are better.

cheap, good value for many, staff were so kind, arranged a good price tour for you, breakfast is great, private room is decent although it’s very hot and only fan and lots of mosquitos
lots of mosquitos in room and only fan
