We loved this charming house for a weekend wedding stay. It was clean, comfy, and had all the essentials needed to accommodate our needs. The location was quiet and safe! It was only a 10min drive into town and we loved the Swamp Rabbit Grocery and Cafe. The host was quick to respond when I had any questions. Would highly recommend for a weekend stay!

This was an excellent pet friendly home. Location was close to everything. Cute home. Furnishings were a bit shabby and could be updated, but fine for us. Johnnie was very responsive to our needs and a great host.

My wife and I wanted to stay in Greenville as we were racing the Gran Fondo in Travelers Rest. House was perfect for us. Easy access to both downtown Greenville and Travelers Rest. This house fit the bill. Johnnie was very responsive and access was easy. Plenty of open spaces for our dog. Would stay here again.

House was warm and welcoming. Host was great at returning messages. Location was convenient to Paris Mountain State Park where we attended a wedding over the weekend.

This house is located in an industrial neighborhood. It’s surrounded by an auto graveyard, animal shelter, and industrial warehouses. There are active train tracks a block up the street. Trains do run late.
We checked in very late Fri evening. A dog outside of the Animal Shelter across the street was crying and howling from the time we checked in until sun up. The kennels are about 400 feet from the bedroom and it’s an older house with thin walls. It kept us up the entire night.
We texted the owner around 9AM the following morning explaining the urgency of the situation. We offered him recordings of the dog howling to illustrate the severity. An hour passed with no response. We started calling hotels to be safe since the NCAA tournament was in Greenville that weekend. Hotels were pretty booked up. We finally found an accommodating hotel manager who was willing to hold a room for us for an hour while we waited for a response from the owner. The 2nd hour passed with no response. Now we have to book the hotel room or lose it. It was an industrial area with an animal shelter across the street. A dog kept us up all night and the owner is now MIA for over 2 hours after we texted his direct line. We booked the room.
The owner finally replied around 11:45 apologizing for his late response. He stated that “only” a couple other guests had complained about dog and train noise and that he has “various fans in the house that guests use for sleep noise as needed”. So he's fully aware there are issues with noise. We notified him that due to the circumstances and his lack of response, we had to make alternate arrangements and checked out. We asked if he’d be willing to refund us 1 or 2 nights out of our 3 night reservation. He denied this request telling us that the howling was a result of a violent dog the police took into custody during a drug bust in the area. They left it outside of the shelter since the bust occurred after hours. He called it an isolated event.
After texting back and forth with the owner for a week, he offered to refund us the equivalent of less than 1/3 of 1 night. He would only offer us more if he could collect damages from the Animal Shelter first. Good luck with that. There are obviously some noise issues here. You might encounter them or you might not. If you are unlucky like us, the owner will hold you financially responsible for your reservation. We sent everything into VRBO. It’s in their hands now.

Spacious dog friendly, close to Paris Mtn
My running partner and I stayed here with our spouses and dogs. The house is only 10 minutes from Paris Mtn, which made traveling to and from the trails a breeze. Travelers Rest is about 10-15. The backyard is massive, which was a pleasant surprise and convenient for our dogs. We really enjoyed the grill and outdoor fire pit. We did have a hard time finding steak knives and measuring cups. Other than that, we had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend this AirBnb.

Cute cottage
Super cute cottage. Conveniently located to down town. Nicely updated renovations to older home. Pet friendly which is a plus but must mention that an animal shelter is within earshot of the house. Our pup is trained well and was not disrupted by the chatter, however.
We would book again. 🙂
