This place is so close to the ski lift, the people transport is 15 feet away, my party had wonderful time skiing at Heavenly.
The unit itself is very clean and well organized. We were able to use the kitchen to get our dinner done, our night in the living room is cozy, our beds were comfortable as well.
Overall I would strong recommend this place to skiers, I would definitely come back.

Overall, the facility is very nice. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Lower building is a little inconvenient if you are a skier and want to use the shuttle or gondola. All uphill from building. Have to boot up in your room. Found it to be easier to drive down to ski area. Found a lot of minor issues with the facility that need repair. Outdoor hot tub in building not working. One of the two elevators out, etc.

We arrived in the evening.. it was windy and icy and we were driving a sedan with chains. The driveway up to the resort was very steep and we couldn’t make it up. We were not informed about this hill prior to arriving so it caught us off guard. They had parking for us at the bottom of the hill and shuttled us up to the resort. It was fine but not ideal with all out luggage. I recommend taking a AWD if possible for most options, as we did t use our car the whole time, the neighborhood is hilly and our sedan with chains didn’t cut it. We even had to over to the grocery store because our car couldn’t make the trip. The resort is very nice, and clean with two restaurants and a great fitness center. This is a ski in ski in ski out property which is awesome. You can walk to skier express which is a gondola the resort runs and takes you to Stagecoach lift. If walking to skier express is difficult for you they offer a shuttle but we walked each time no problem even one of us was walking in ski boots carrying her skis. There is also a convenient rental shop on site which makes it very easy. Overall I would stay again, take a different car and grocery shop before arriving.. the Safeway in town is very expensive. Oh one last thing, I noticed on VRBO there are many of the same listings at this site …all different prices.. that is still a mystery to me. I now know that you can book direct at Holiday Inn Resorts.

We had a great time.

Had a very fun time. Rooms were very warm and stuffy. Fans were provided, but it was uncomfortable to sleep the first few nights. After airing the room out for a few days, it was fine. Lots of fun things to do. Swim, hot tub, sauna, pickleball, mini golf, pool (billiards), and shoot basketballs were the activities we enjoyed. Beautiful view over the valley and only 15 minutes from town. The staff was friendly. One staff member did give us bad advice about parking and we ended uo with a big parking ticket, but other than that the staff was very hellful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.
4.3
We had a wonderful family vacation. The suite was roomy and comfortable for our family of five. We enjoyed all the amenities on the property. Would definitely stay again
4.3
With no AC, impossible to stay at the place during the day and very hard to sleep at night!!
4.3
Good location and amenities. We got very late due to plane delays and had no problem with the check in process. Everything else was great.
4.3
Convenient, comfortable and easy. Nice to be so close to slopes that kids could come back home on their own. Roof top hot tub and sauna was great apres ski. Lost one star overall only because there is a very unattractive cyclone fence built around the ground level unit directly outside the living room and bedroom windows which was a huge eyesore when looking out at the view (yikes).
4.3
We had an easy check in. The hotel staff was friendly as can be and helpful. We are able to rent ski equipment onsite and loved the ski in/out aspect. Would stay here again!!

Enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn Timber Ridge Resort on the Nevada side of Heavenly Ski Resort. The unit was incredibly spacious for a VRBO/condo on ski hill resort. It was very clean, had a well appointed kitchen and location was perfect. Skied down or rode the tram down to Heavenly Stagecoach lift. 15-20 min drive to Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
FYI, the resort fee and taxes are not included in the VRBO cost. We had to pay $266.76 when we checked out.
4.3
Good location but very limited amenities : small gondola to ski slopes, hot tubs not working , furniture dated 30+ years- service mediocre. Good potential but lots of work need to be done. No communication at all with host.
4.3
We enjoyed the property very much. We stayed during this massive winter storm and having a parking garage to park in free was huge. Other places that didn’t had cars snowed in and stuck all over.
You must have a 4wd vehicle in the winter to use this property, or any in the area.
The place was nice and clean. Not exactly a two bedroom suite but a one bedroom suite connected with another regular hotel room. Not a problem though, still works the same.
Know that there are multiple complexes here, so you may not be staying in the same complex as the bar/restaurant/hot tub etc. Hot tub wasn’t working.
Overall a very good value though. I’d stay here again.

Tahoe Ridge Resort was amazing. We come to Tahoe to ski at least twice a year during the season. This is the only place I would happily return to. The Resort was superior, the staff was wonderful, and our villa was beautiful. We had the most beautiful kitchen with all the amenities, a living room with a fireplace and two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The two bathrooms had deep, wide Jacuzzi tubs and separate shower areas. Each room had its own television. A shuttle service was available right outside the door to take you to the ski areas, main lodge for dining or cocktails and to the casinos. This was every bit as nice as the VERY pricey resorts. I cannot recommend this place more highly.
4.3
Pretty tight for six people but we made it work. Express gondola is a short hike up the hill. A few light bulbs burnt out. Hotel staff was very friendly. Good place for the price. Would stay again.
4.3
Great stay, properties are a little outdated though, and hot tubs not great had to go to another building a bit of a pain
4.3
The room was nice and not as far from town as other reviews made it seem. The roads were well maintained so it was easy to get up and down. The property had a game room, bar, bistro and indoor pool which were great amenities and came in handy every day. There is also garage parking which was a great surprise since most reviews and the listing say outdoor parking only.
Why you need to do your homework: the property is In Nevada, not Tahoe like the listing leads with. It’s not a 2 bedroom place, it’s 2 adjoining rooms:had I not seen that in the reviews I would have been a little upset upon arriving but the rooms were nice. I just wish the listing was clearer about this. The listing says it’s by the heavenly gondola, that’s a fabrication. It’s by a skier express lift to a heavenly lift. Even the hotel said they wouldn’t call it a gondola. It’s about 20 min drive from the actual heavenly gondola. However if you’re planning to ski it’s a great perk you just need to know what you’re actually getting.
The dishes and kitchen in the place were great. There was a small bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling. We found a mini bottle of alcohol under the couch which is alarming when you have a small child. Otherwise it was clean though.
The heater made a lot of noise in the main bedroom which was annoying but not too big of a deal. If you’re a light sleeper though it would have been too loud.
Overall I’d stay here again and would recommend for winter stays.

As stated by some recent reviews, this property is now owned by Holiday Inn and is a time share property. I was confused at checkin when they gave me 2 rooms for our stay. I assumed the set up would be more like a condo with 2 rooms (as the pictures showed). It was just them opening up a locked door between rooms to make a bigger space like in a hotel room. So my parents had a pretty large space which was a studio, and my family had the main living room space. The common area was smaller than the pictures shown but it worked. I felt better about the smaller living room b/c the bathrooms were huge and very nice. I did ask to move locations at first but the staff at the front explained I was in the largest space for the 6 of us. When I showed the pictures to the staff they explained to me that the kitchen photo and the living room photo are from 2 completely different buildings and is not an actual unit that exists. (Guess I overlooked the last paragraph in the booking description) There are 5 buildings here and all have underground garage parking which was amazing since we got hit with a huge storm. Each building has a hot tub. Ours had 2 on the roof, but only one was operating. Yes there is an indoor pool but that’s at the main lodge. So we had to shuttle up to it (could walk but with 2 young kids and older parents it was not ideal). The pool was warm but had quite a bit of debris in it since half of it is outside. The changing room had half the showers out of order and half the lockers out of order. The staff was great and really helpful and nice. The shuttle drivers and snow plow drivers were on it 24/7 during this storm. Overall the rooms could have been more clean (food and crumbs in the corners and under heater) and the carpet definitely need’s replaced. At first I was a bit upset about not having a room I thought I was getting (vaulted ceilings, fireplace, 3 couches, balcony) but we made it work and was happy overall with the convenient location and having the tram/ lift to stagecoach.
4.3
We stayed for 5 nights and loved it! So close to the stagecoach lift. Facility was clean and all the staff was helpful and polite. It’s definitely a winter location. If you are driving here be sure and rent or drive an all wheel vehicle with good tires. It’s at the top of the mountain and beautiful scenery around. We had 2 rooms and was SO spacious. Kitchen was awesome we cooked dinner and breakfast for our family. Grocery store is in town near the main gondola. Can’t say enough positive stuff about our stay!!
4.3
I don't like to leave negative reviews and do not feel this to be a negative but there are some things that renters should be aware of to enjoy this property.
First, this is a time share property for Holiday Inn Vacation club, so on arrival to get my keys I needed to sit with a time share salesperson to tell them I already own too many timeshares and I am not interested. so be aware this is a timeshare sales situation.
The property is nice and has many nice amenities listed but they were not in working order and a bit less than advertised. Activities, hot tubs, pools Spa etc. all listed and if available were limited. for example, SPA closed since 2020 hot tubs all drained and closed, shuttles on very limited timing etc.
The property is also located a fair bit out of town so be ready to drive and if snowy the drive is a bit Hairy.
That said the rooms are large and really nice and the owner/property manager responsive.
Also, we unfortunately hit a bad week for them with too much snow for Tahoe and the property to manage so this may have impacted their services.
4.3
Great condo. We got tons of snow!! Make sure to have 4WD or AWD if you stay during the winter. Place was nice and cozy!
4.3
Despite the weather not cooperating for a good ski week, we had a lovely stay at the Ridge Tahoe. The 2 bedroom we stayed at was large and comfortable for our family of 4. The convenience of the shuttle bus (both to the lifts and around the property) was great.
It would be nice for the units to get a cosmetic facelift. Despite being maintained decently, You can tell they are older - and show wear and a tear. It would also be helpful to have slightly more kitchen items (plates, etc), so you can wash daily instead of after every meal.
Overall a very nice time!
4.3
Clean and big. Great location. Right on the Nevada side of the Heavenly slopes. Kitchen stocked with all the equipment you need, but no condiments nor coffee filters, so bring those or pick them up at the store. Check in was a bit annoying as they tried to sell us time shares, but luckily took no for an answer the first time. Sleep number beds. Didn't check out most amenities. The only place to eat on site has a limited selection.
4.3
We loved the spaciousness and amenities of our condo. Sleep number beds, two bathtubs/showers and a wonderful view. The location is fantastic. Walk across the street to the Heavenly tram and you are right at the slopes. If I was to suggest one thing: having another set or two of plates and utensils would be helpful to not have to clean dishes for every meal. Also, and this is not on the owner: the facilities of the Holiday Inn Vacation Club are partly quite run down: spa showers and soap dispensers broken, pool needing repairs, hot tubs not working, ceilings and walls not kept up. The condo was in great shape while the public spaces we saw were not very well maintained.
4.3
Great location. Great value
4.3
We had a great stay. Everything was spotless and clean. It’s the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. The bed was comfortable. Just about everything you need was available to cook a meal for a family. The only down side for us was that the ski lift and gondola were closed and we had to drive down to another location to ski which if we had known we would have booked a location closer to the other ski lift.

It was very relaxing and quiet. Disappointed that they no longer have a spa onsite where you can get a massage.
4.3
Nice location and things to do on the resort.
It’s better suited for ski season but still decent for driving to the lake.
4.3
Too hot but nice room and view
4.3
Honestly I was very happy overall with the place. It was large and had everything I could need. The couple of things that bothered me were the beds—the mattresses were just not great. The pullout mattresses were even worse. Felt like sleeping on rocks. The other thing was the temperature controls weren’t ideal. Honestly couldn’t figure out how they worked at all as they were extremely old. Thankfully the weather was nice so it didn’t matter at all. Other than those two things, the place is great
4.3
We booked a two bedroom. The place was great with a separate entrance for the second bedroom. Bathrooms are amazing. The mattresses are sleep number and I’m definitely not buying one after this experience. Location to Stagecoach lift was great. Ten minute drive to town so isolated if you have teenagers. Younger kids will love it. I would stay here again for sure
4.3
Very close to lift but you need to rely on the shuttle for everything. The shuttle is always available and arrives quickly when called. I do wish the property had a restaurant on premise. There is a quick order bar area with a limited menu but for a place so secluded a real restaurant would have been nice. Besides that everything was good.
4.3
Fully equipped and clean. Great ski location and spectacular views
4.3
Overall great experience renting this VRBO! Suite was clean, spacious, and had an amazing view! Hot tub was conveniently located in the same building as well as parking. Highly recommend considering this listing!
4.3
Stayed two weeks. We were very happy with the unit. Condo was very clean, comfortable and in great shape. Great location for ski lift access and ski rentals (next door). Employees were all very friendly, courteous and helpful.
4.3
It was great to be back on the mountain. Fireplaces did not work in the Plaza, but it was still good.
4.3
Enjoyed everything about the stay, until we were double billed for our vacation. If I had not caught it on the credit card statement, nothing would have ever been resolved. Unacceptable this day and age with technology that we would be double billed, after pre-paying for the property. Had to spend 45 minutes on the phone resolving this. Not happy at all and very suspicious.
