We had a lovely stay here, it’s the perfect location, close by to one of the best coffee shops! The backyard is a huge plus since we traveled woth our dog. Would recommend!

Property was great. The temperature difference from the bedroom on the right from the rest of the house made it uncomfortable to sleep. Did enjoy the property though. Thank you.

We never made it to the property but I had to include stars to submit my comments so honestly I couldn’t rate appropriately other than my communication rating.
Unfortunately, my family and I are very disappointed in this experience for the property. My entire family (3 yo/5yo and 75yo mother) came down with the flu prior to when we were supposed to go up to this property for the kids Winter Break. We were all so excited and when I discovered we all had fevers of 103+ I immediately notified the property management company in hopes we could check in a day or so late. They accommodated that with no issues but noted no refund for those days b/c of cancellation policy. By our check in day, I knew we would not be able to travel so I reached out again to the property management company to inquire what I can do. They offered to reach out to the property owners to inquire if they would be willing to move our dates even with an additional fee, that would have been ok. They said the owners would respond within 24-48hrs and they would call me back as soon as they heard from them. I never got a call back so I contacted them again within 48 hours and they said they were still waiting for a response but they would get back to me. I never got a response. I even reached out to my local contact via text message and did not get a response either. I just called back on 1/3 to follow up and they told me they got a response on 12/29 from the owners saying they were not willing to accommodate any kind of change and that was the final decision. If the property management company would have called me as soon as they got that info, I may have tried to get someone to come out and use the reservation rather than just lose $5K. Yes, it’s my fault I did not purchase travel insurance but I still had 2 days left on my reservation when they knew the owners were not willing to accommodate anything. It would have been great to have the option of all of the info to try and get even one of us to use the property. Just be warned, this property management company is not as responsive as they promise to be and the owners are not sympathetic to any circumstances during these times of Covid/major flus if you didn’t get travel insurance. If we went, we would have spent the entire time leaving flu/pneumonia germs in their property. I’m sure the next renters would have appreciated my decision to keep our germs to ourselves.

We enjoyed the house and yard. Welcoming to dogs and our 3 dogs enjoyed the large backyard. Very convenient location and house was comfortable.

This property is fantastic! Like all older homes, there are some quirks, like figuring out hot and cold in the shower, but it is soo adorable. Location is great and the neighborhood is quiet.

Great location
My friends and I had a lovely stay here with our 3 pups, who loved the huge yard. Just a 20-30 minute stroll to the beautiful Nevada state beach and a quick drive to the center of Heavenly Village. My only complaint would have to be the weak shower pressure and wonky temperatures of both bathrooms, but all in all, we had a wonderful time.

Charming house with a large fenced backyard; perfect for our two pooches. Ideal location as it was close to Fjeldheim, where our friends were getting married. Also very close to all the action in South Lake.

House was in a great location for access to everything in Tahoe we wanted to do. Located on a neighborhood street very quiet. House was comfy, bathrooms need updating had problems flushing the toilet in small bathroom, thankfully a plunger was supplied. Yard has fence, but little to no grass. No air conditioning except for small "window" unit in family room. Fans provided in bedrooms.
If going to beaches, make sure you bring beach towels, as none provided and they ask you don't take bath towels to beach.

This house had everything we needed and even a lot of extras in the kitchen! The towels and bed sheets were even softer and fluffier than some hotels we've stayed at. We definitely will book this property again!

We had such a good time here! Our initial plans were thwarted thanks to all of the fires and the beaches and trails being closed, but we enjoyed our stay in the house nonetheless! Everything was very very clean upon arrival. Dwight was very easy to communicate with. We brought three dogs under twenty pounds and they had a blast too! There is a beach less than 10 minutes away (Zephyer Cove North, beach I think) and before the beaches closed, the dogs were able to frolic there for a bit. The backyard is very spacious for them to run around, and Dwight provided us with blankets to put on the couches so the pups could lounge as well. We cooked 2/3 nights we stayed and the kitchen has every thing you could need to make a nice home cooked meal. There was even a grill and we were bummed we didn't have more time to use it as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely looking into booking this home again.

New Year's 2020
All-in-all this was a great location and a nice home for five of us to stay for a week. The location is central to everything in South Lake Tahoe with easy access to Heavenly and the main strip (Casinos, restaurants, etc.). Would have been a challenge to sleep more than 5 people in the house (even kids) however it was comfortable for us. Very pet friendly location with a large yard and access to a substantial trail system for walking/hiking. Only issue encountered was a related to some leakage in the second bathroom as we were limited to the use of one bathroom. Also, BBQ was not working while we were there however we were notified later that there was an additional propane tank available to us but it was not clearly communicated. We should not expect to have to hook up new tank. Outside of those issues, I would recommend this house and we would consider staying there in future visits.

The location of this property is great. Huge backyard and very close to Heavenly. Great coffee spot close by to, Clydes. Very cozy and comfiest sofa for lounging in family room.
