The hosts provided a little extra - cereals, milk, butter and bread. This was a great addition, as it was unexpected. The facilities were clean, there were some games put out in the lounge to encourage interaction within families or with other guests. Heaters were provided to keep the house and/or rooms warm. Location made it easy to access surrounding shops by foot. Very friendly hosts.
I do prefer a separate toilet/bathroom, but the one provided was still great.

Location felt comfortable backpacker
was a bit surprised to have the staff come to strip the bedroom at 930 when checkout was at 10 never had that experience before she was very pleasant but it did seem like we were intruding

It was the first place, where I have turned around and left.
Bad parking, zero privacy, no assistance.

Basic continental breakfast provided. Perfectly adequate. Good location and facilities. Little noise even though full. Staff only seen on room changeover in the morning, otherwise everything automatic/online.
Nothing.

Useful stopover while travelling with good restaurant on site.
We would have preferred not to have had to share bathroom facilities.

the hotel is in the center of town so it was a very convenient location. The staff are exceptionally helpful. it was a wet day so they lit the stove so we could be warm and dry our clothes. The bathrooms are shared but were very clean. There is an excellent pizza place located on the premises.
We had to leave our bikes outside under a staircase and we would have preferred. more secure place.

My stay at The Lazy Cow was good, exceed my expectations. The place is nice and clean, nice kitchen and some items for breakfast. Excellent staff. Great place to eat adjacent the accommodation.

This was one of the best surprises in a long time. It is actually a backpacking place, but more like a guest house. The owners are friendly, the Wi-Fi is super and there is great facilities with kitchen and living room. Free breakfast and tea/coffee in the kitchen. Nice little restaurant where they serve the best food. What’s not to like.
Nothing really

Very well resourced
The 4pm check in time, they made an exception for me but nevertheless it’s pushing the envelope and sending a negative message to travellers. It’s a small hostel, check out is 10am, they are professionals. There is no reason why they cannot have the hostel ready for guests earlier.
