Location was perfect, property was clean, updated, comfortable and private. It was exactly what I expected based on photos and reviews and better than expected re:location.

Nice getaway to enjoy some good food in the evening after days of fishing and hiking. Walk to everything on Elk Street. We will be back.

We enjoyed the proximity of this rental to the activities and restaurants downtown. I didnt expect the steep stairs to the bedroom, but we were stronger at the end of our 4 night stay. The kitchen was wonderfully equiped. The livingroom could use a new couch!

My wife and I stayed in this Coal Creek property for 6 nights in late March with our pets. The property is compact but very well designed. Everything is there, even laundry. The location is fantastic, just a half block off of Elk Ave. We are seniors but in good shape. The only thing that seniors or renters with children might not appreciate from the pictures is that the stairs up to the bedroom are very very steep. As I say, no problem for us, just be aware. Just a suggestion for the host: With a bakery as good as The Breadery (fantastic sourdough ... and we are from San Francisco) just down Elk, you need a real serrated bread knife. Don't want to maul the goods! Again, love the place. Love the unit. Love the location. Love the town. Hope to be back soon.

Loved this place! It might be my favorite rental so far in CB and we are there most years for a week of skiing. Walking around the corner to Elk Street restaurants was great. It's close to the ski area shuttle. The place is well equipped and dedicated off-street parking is wonderful. If I were going to wish for anything on this property it would be for an outside locking gear cabinet for skis or whatever, since they are not allowed inside.

The property was wonderful. The place was very clean and had everything you would need. The easy access to the bus stop and the ability to walk to town was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

I/2 block from Elk Ave. Car parked during 30” snow storm over a couple days. Walked everywhere and took shuttle up mtn. Solid modern construction, with excellent heat, double pain windows. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Off street parking. Had everything you needed for a relaxing getaway. Management company, Alpine Getaways very responsive. Highly recommend this gem.

The bungalow is very nicely appointed and very clean. My wife and I were there for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location - close to shops and restaurants - and within easy driving distance from all the hiking trails, which was exactly what we were looking for. Would highly recommend it.

The property is located 1/2 block off of elk ave. The location could not have been better. We loved being able to just walk to the restaurants and stores and enjoy the farmer's market and art fair.

Clean inside and out with a great location. Perfect for a young couple.

The location is fantastic and allows for easy walking to local restaurants and shopping.
The property is attached to a main residence and is not a stand alone home. The stairs are very steep as noted in the description but are challenging to maneuver.
Overall, we had a great stay and would come again.

CB Reunion
Came home for my high school reunion and needed space for our two kids and two dogs to run during all of the activities. Listening to Coal Creek and having a central location to see all of CB's finest gathered together was KEY. Its in the best spot (and we could charge our electric car just next to the rental in the Town lot). Woods Walk morning coffees and then late night wandering back from Eldo was ideal!

I am very concerned about several IBC code issues at the unit .
I am very concerned about several IBC code issues at the unit . The bedroom stairs are a complete violation of the IBC and Colorado residential building code. In addition the power panel is next to the Murphy bed with flammable materials within 36 inches. I realize this is not Alpine property but Alpine takes some risk in renting the property. The advertisement for the property does state that the bedroom stairs are steep and has a coating. However if anyone falls on those stairs their could be serious ramifications. I point this out to help and support the Alpine team as I would hate to see anyone hurt as well as protecting your company . The Alpine team were very kind and great service . We had to delay out trip at the last minute to June and the Staff were very helpful to be able to move it.

Stylish and comfortable space that was well designed to maximize room and storage. Bonus that there were two attractive, updated full bathrooms to give the two of us extra elbow room.

We have stayed at this property many times. It’s our favorite in Crested Butte. This time the upstairs shower had a moldy smell and sure enough I was able to scrub mold off the walls and floor. Also, the kitchen could use some storage containers. But overall it was a great stay! Friendly and helpful when I needed to print a hard copy of a document from my phone they said to come into the office. Thanks

We love Coal Creek and we will certainly be back! The only comment we have is that the upstairs TV was not reliable for good reception/internet connection. Couldn't really reliably count on it to work and be watch-able with the freezing/cutting in and out we saw. Everyone we communicated was friendly and helpful

Great Location
Very nice finish and use of space in this property. We were able to make a Thanksgiving dinner with a full refrigerator and up to date oven. The location is wonderful and allows easy access to Elk St. and to trails.

Coal Creek Delight
Great location, well supplied, very clean, small but perfect for 2. We are in our 70's and handled the steep stairs just fine. Enjoyed sitting by the creek.

In the heart of things!
The property is well-designed and well-equipped, the only drawback being the steep stairs up to the comfortable bedroom. We loved being on the creek, going to sleep to the sound of rushing water. Being in the heart of town was terrific for walking to restaurants and the grocery store and easy access to Kebler Pass for hiking.
