Very clean and close to Elk

Property is in a great location two blocks from Elk Ave, with dedicated off-street parking. Nice small yard with a hot tub that we didn't use. "Master" bed was really comfortable, right off the living room. Second bed / bedroom is upstairs.
We did have a couple of issues - Internet not working when we got there which required messaging back and forth with the property owner to get it reset (modem / wifi wasn't in the unit.) Then, after that, it was pretty slow to the point I turned it off and just used my phone. The refrigerator was making a "buzzing" noise every 60 seconds 24/7, and the shower door wouldn't stay closed, which basically meant water was shooting all over the bathroom floor when you used it. The property manager said they'd come by to address both, but didn't while we were there. It's also worth noting that this place is a "quaint" refurb of an older house, but the living room floor is so sloped a square marble would still roll across the room. It's noticeable, but really just the living room.
All said and done, not a bad place to stay for a couple of days, but not without a couple of quirks or issues.

this is our second stay in this lovely little place. Little did we know there was SO much snow the first visit that there is a great yard! So close to town and hiking. We love it!

Perfect place for a weekend away with our dog. We could walk everywhere and enjoyed lounging at the property as well.

Great little place in perfect location! Plan on coming back during the summer to experience crested butte in warmer weather!

In a great spot in town, easy proximity to everything. Would definitely recommend with the caveat about the loft where the second bed iis — it’s a bit tight for adults (you can’t really stand because of the A frame) so probably wouldn’t recommend for tall folks especially.

We loved the location of this very old house, So Close 1block to bus stop that take you to ski mountain. And 1blk from the Main Street to shops and restaurants NICE
When we arrived we were surprised that the house was Two addresses not correctly advertised we ended up with the rental in the back of the home ( not renovated) the home is sinking and has a 45 degree angle downhill drop from the front to back of the house. The wood floors were so rustic it didn't feel clean and the rugs were very worn and dirty. The bed was comfortable but felt like your feet were above your head, There was an old bag of ice in freezer that tasted old and there was no toilet paper so we had to go get those items at the store.
Great location and Pet friendly were the two highlights. I rate this property a 3.5 star

This unit was exactly as advertised and we would stay again. Large enough for the 3 of us family members. Very clean and well appointed. Excellent location in town. We parked our car in the off street spot included and never moved it until we left. Walked to coffee, dinner and bus stop to skiing. Enjoyed the hot tub steps outside of our door. Thanks so much!

We enjoyed this charming cottage for a few days in Crested Butte. Very walkable to Elk Ave, the Mountain bus stop and grocery store. The unit is older but has incredible heating (including radiant floor heating) and a mostly updated kitchen. Overall a great stay for a family of four!

We had an awesome time, the place is perfect! Clean, cozy, great location.

We stayed for 3 nights and it snowed the full 2 days we had planned to hike. No problem- we walked over a couple blocks to Elk Ave (main street of Crested Butte) and enjoyed the off season, no crowds and fun dining at the Wooden Nickel, Slogars and Bonz. We were going to cook on our own one night (the kitchen was well stocked) but had so much fun going out. Drove to look at come cabins in S Crested Butte and then on up to the town of Gothic. Was gorgeous in the snow! Great that this unit had a hot tub- we used it every day- but the jets need working on. Would stay here again and so great they are pet friendly. Thanks Priscilla and Micah!

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is an older house, but everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was unbeatable for walking everywhere. It was especially nice to be able to bring our pup with us too!

We had a great stay! Walking distance to downtown Crested Butte, cozy home with plenty of space for 3 adults, the hot tub was a great addition for the cool mountain evenings. Definitely recommend!

I didn't want to write this review. But I'm so frustrated with my communications with the owner, that I feel like I've been forced to. When we left, we dropped something personal in the driveway. I asked Priscilla after we left if she could check the driveway for the item. She said she found it - great, right? I asked her if she could please mail it to me and I could reimburse her for doing so asap. She asked for my address, and then she said she mailed it. I asked for information about how it was shipped, how much it cost to ship so I could Venmo her. I never heard from her again. I checked in with her at at least 2 more times. No response. I'd read other reviews from previous guests who experienced poor communications with Priscilla, but I blew it off because I thought it wouldn't be a problem. I would hate to think of what would have happened if we would have needed something from her while staying there. Would not recommend. Zero stars of I could.

We loved our stay at this property. Perfect for a mountain weekend in Crested Butte. The hot tub is shared with the unit next door, but we didn't have any issues when we were there sharing it with our neighbors

The house was perfect for our week in CB. The location is right off Elk, the house is cute and cozy. We loved the gas burning stove, the comfy beds, the updated bath and kitchen, the fenced yard, and the hot tub. We will stay again!!

We spent a week in CB during a beautiful fall season. Perfect location in town and nice to have a yard for our dog. Worked remotely and the wifi was good for 2 people. New appliances and nice gas fireplace…we had a few chilly mornings.

Great stay at this property in CB. Location is ideal and our family enjoyed our stay.

We rented this property for a wedding weekend with some friends. The bride and groom were staying next door in unit a.
Location is awesome! Close walk to town and the bus stop that takes you up to the mountain. That’s about all the good we can say.
Immediately upon walking in we noticed the place was in desperate need of a deep clean. We understand it’s an old home but for the cost, we were less than thrilled with the cleanliness. There were spider webs in the corners, a spider living in its web in the bathroom, a big spider on the main bedroom wall, windowsills full of dead bugs and my favorite part - old fake eyelashes stuck to the windowsill in the main bedroom. It also has an overwhelming smell of wet dog and natural gas. We were so worried about the gas smell that we had the owner come out the first night to take a look. She promptly responded and came by and just said that’s how the house smells.
Overall the stay was fine. We really used the place to sleep mostly so can’t comment on the appliances or anything else.
Our bigger issues arose after checking out. We realized we left a bag with some pricey headphones inside. I contacted the owner immediately upon realizing this and got no response after multiple messages. A few days after that I received an insurance claim about a very expensive pillow case that we somehow ruined. I know this isn’t true as we all drove in and everyone had their own pillows. The sketchy part comes after I talked to our friends who stayed in unit a and found out they were also slapped with a damaged carpet claim for a room that no one even used. We all travel often and have never had any claims pursued against anyone so were completely taken aback at these claims from this property. It’s just very interesting considering we’re required to purchase their insurance when booking and then are immediately slapped with bogus claims upon checking out…
The owner finally messaged back after I sent another message about how convenient it was to receive a claim but no response on our bag. She responded quickly after that saying she has no control over the claims, shared photos of the damage she claims we did and miraculously found our bag but of course she found it empty. She brushed off my request of asking who cleaned the house and has not responded to anything else about my missing items.
Overall, the stay was fine but the aftermath is a nightmare. Don't waste your money.

Disappointing experience. This cottage is in a good location, had a comfortable bed, and has been partially remodeled but lacks basic cleanliness and serviceability. The lack of cleanliness was a major concern, from dishes in the cupboards, the performance of dishwasher and laundry, to the carpets and furniture being unkept. An accessibility issue was handled in an unacceptable manner. Although we visit Crested Butte often, we will not stay at this location in the future.

Location, location, location!
Can’t say it enough, ideal location for anyone wanting spectacular views and steps within Elk Ave where all the shops, restaurants, and bars are!

Great location
This duplex has a great location - 1 block off Elk and 1 block to the 4-way stop. It's has a cute, shabby chic decor. Nice heat in the kitchen/bathroom floors. Very comfy mattress. Very comfy for 2 people. Would feel tight with 4. And there isn't a table big enough for 4 people to sit at, or do a puzzle.
Priscila is very communicative. But the unit needs some maintenance - kitchen faucet broken, ice maker not working, lights not working, 1/2 the jets in the hot tub work. And during the winter, the path to unit B is not well-maintained. It's a slippy slidey path to the front door.

Great property in a great location. Easy walk to anywhere in town and short drive to the slopes. Clean and comfortable lodging and we would go back for sure!

Not a Great Experience
The adjacent property had 6 college aged boys staying. They trashed the hot tub on the first night and made us leery to use it after them - so we didn't. They were loud, obnoxious and rude and made our experience terrible. The units share plumbing so beyond hearing their party at 2am, you hear everything from their bathroom next door while you are in the master bedroom of this property.
We tried to make changes to our reservation a month before arrival but heard nothing from property manager despite several emails, phone messages and texts. The PM finally responded days before and during our visit and she was non-commital. Ultimately, she did not take action on our request which cost us over $300. We travel to CB frequently and have removed this property from our trip board.

Nice cozy ski trip
What a great space!! My daughter, husband and 2 1/2 year old grandson stayed in the adjoining cabin. It was so nice to have a separate space!!
I think our place was a little bit more cozy with the fireplace and a very snowy week.
My only complaint—and it has nothing to do with the rental was that it might be mentioned that the beautiful town of Crested Butte kind of shuts down on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s which meant that there were a lot less restaurants and stores open…maybe the rental price should adjust for that? Or just put it in the description :) other than that it’s super close to town!!

Cute property close to town
We contacted the owner about a one night refund due to a delayed arrival because of COVID. She said that they do not issue refunds so close to arrival. Since COVID is not a planned event, I think it would have been appropriate for her to honor my request.
The house is nice but we had a lot of snow during the stay and no one shoveled out the path so the entrance was difficult to access.
Otherwise, the property is very cute and well located.

Cozy Stay
We loved the hot tub and the location. Easy walk to anything on Elk Ave. It snowed during our stay, so our plans to do lots of fall hiking were canceled, but we had fun exploring the town, walking to the paved trail, and playing board games in the living area.
