Really perfect location to visit the peninsula. The structure is equipped with all the comforts, very equipped kitchen and bathroom. The house is warm and cosy. Host Tina is ready to respond to every request in a timely and timely manner.
I don't feel like reporting anything negative, the house is still being renovated but it already has all its potential

Small but cozy and clean house. Especially, we loved the kitchen and living room. Village was beautiful and quiet. Close to other sightseeing places.
Room with two single bed was cold… so one of us had to move to sofa bed in the living room at the midnight… and the other room has huge radiator on the wall with massive (operating) noise through all night… hard to sleep without earplugs…

Our host Tina is very meticulous and provided us with everything we might need, from user manuals for oven and washing machines to tiny stuff like cotton buds and plasters. The kitchen is also very well equipped.
Nothing.

We very much enjoyed our two nights in Olafsvik, as part of our visit to the Snæfell peninsula. As we relied on cooking our own meals during our stay in Iceland, this place was pretty perfect as it had a kitchen containing all the necessary utensils.
There was a strange, "old" odor permeating the flat (which is located on the lower floor - the owners live upstairs).
4.5
Very clean. Great amenities.
Some areas need updating but all well cared for.

PlayStation was a nice touch. The girls enjoyed that in the evening. And the slippers!

Bathroom is nice, but has 2 doors and neither has a lock
Small, still being built, so there are some oddities like a missing door or a door that cannot latch.

The host is very friendly and made sure that there were sufficient facilities for a small child. Furthermore, the appartment is an ideal location to explore the peninsula with some shops to get the required supplies. The renovated bathroom is very nice.
We were noticed on the day of arrival that there was a renovation going on (which is delayed due to external circumstances). This meant that there was not a proper entrance with a door that could be locked. Furthermore, part of the appartment is not entirely finished (walls not painted, some of the plug contacts not installed and dust of the renovation in the bathroom). We have received a compensation and I reckon that the apartment will be in good shape after the renovation, we just had a bit of a bad timing for our visit.

It's kind of close to the town center and easy to walk around. A small apartment on the first floor with a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. There is a washer/dryer which could be handy if there is a need to do laundry along the trip. A bit old-fashioned but feels cozy.
The area outside the apartment is kind of messy and should definitely be cleaned up to give a better first impression. The same goes to the interior of the apartment. There were like mops, brooms, and cleaning products right outside the bathroom, and not arranged in an orderly fashion. It was nice to have some cooking supplies in the kitchen but some of the products already expired. Overall, it'd be nice to have the apartment cleaned up, both inside and outside, and update the stuff in the kitchen.

It had everything you need and felt really like home. Easy access with a personal parking spot. The hostess (Tina) is also very friendly and willing to help!
It could be considered slightly pricey, however due to the fact that you get a full appartement with everything you could possibly need it's definitely worth it.

The apartment is a little bit old but this didn’t matter for us.

This is a very nice older house in the mids of the small town, where the hosts are extremely nice and helpful people. You get the feel as you are part of the town and with its locals.
The facilities are good and all service close by.
I would for sure recommend this property and its hosts.

Facility was nice. Be careful not to disturb anything. host will charge extra.
The host has a list of many rules. She is very cheap. We had only two people, but she insisted that we pay for three people. Why? Because the other beds were disturbed. She said we were stealing. We never had a third person. But now we have to pay for 3 people.

Great location for touring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. A super cute town with gorgeous views of the mountains and the ocean. You can even see a waterfall from the windows. The apartment is well equipped and spacious.
The shower works well though is not spacious.

Great apartment in the center of Olafsvik, perfectly situated for a tour of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The place is quite big and very practical, there is everything needed in the kitchen. Comfortable beds and small but nice bathroom with a washing machine, a great feature after all the hiking in the rain. Decoration is vintage but clean and cosy. Communication and check-in/out are super easy.

Great kitchen, and a really good location in Ólafsvík. It's an easy walk to restaurants, the pool, the gym, Vínbúðin, and the grocery store. And it's so close to Snæfellsjökull National Park. Just minutes away from great hiking and scenery. The living space is nice for both dining (table for 4) and having a movie night - with a nice size TV and easy to connect a streaming device.
Nothing really. The bathroom is small, but it is fairly represented in the property pictures.

Tina was was patient about my arrival and apt access. Fabulous apartment that was “well loved” but very comfortable. Laundry, baths and kitchen were spotless and very welcome. Wish I could have stayed longer!
Nothing. It was a great value.

Anchor in Olafsvik is a homely and comfortably large two bed ground floor apartment with views in Olafsvik. It is warm, has a well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, basic clean bathroom facilities. We enjoyed the apartments' size, amenities and location. The instructions given by the host were excellent.
The house is on a corner and the number faces the other street.
