Being greeted with freshly made barabrith :). Delicious. Super clean cottage
nothing.

Perfect for what we needed, very homely and felt Christmassy! Had everything we needed for essentials too.

Bedrooms lovely size, furniture good quality and comfortable.
Adjustable heating and all radiators worked.
Lovely powerful shower.
Not cluttered.
Washing machine and tumble dryer both worked fab.
Parking for 3 cars was so helpful.
Cake was delicious, and the handbook very helpful and witty.
WiFi worked really well.
Quiet street, great pub up the hill.
It really suited our needs and we were very comfortable there. We're so pleased we booked it.
Perhaps a heated clothes rail for drying walking boots / coats would be useful, we put the clothes horse infront of radiators but it took ages to dry and felt like it was making downstairs smell damp.
Also, another recycling bin in kitchen would help us keep waste more separate ie for card, paper, cans etc

Everything you needed - easy to get access, friendly owner who was there if you needed but didn't intrude.
It was quite cold in the lounge - it would be good if there was a rug

The front area.
On booking we were told there would be a king size bed and a queen size bed and 2 twin beds and 2 singles and instead we had a bunk bed 1 queen bed and 2 singles.

Everything was perfect. The house was very comfortable and instantly felt like home. Richard the host had left delicious welsh butter and milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread and then arrived with yummy fruit cake. The kitchen was well stock including tea bags and washing machine tabs. We had a great time and would definitely return.
Nothing, it was perfect!

Richard, the host, was very welcoming and gave us a lovely 'Barm Cake' on arrival. The property was clean, cozy and warm, especially because of the log burner. The beds were comfortable. Great hot water pressure in the shower. Only a two minute walk from the countryside. Fantastic little grocery shop within a minute's walk. Pub, pharmacy and newsagent also in the village. Perfect for Snowdonia and Portmeirion.
The bedrooms listing on Booking.com was not correct when I booked. The accommodation consists of 1 large double room with a King size bed. Another room with twin single beds and a third room with sturdy bunkbeds. This did not bother us as our party was 2 adults and 2 children. The property is also listed on Sykes Cottages where the listing is correct.

The host lives next door and came around to greet us, he let us know that he would be on hand to resolve any issues. Really nice and friendly! The house was large and well stocked with everything you could need. They had really gone above and beyond with the little details - including local bread, milk and homemade cake. Village is really quiet, local shop are also friendly. We went for a walk at night and saw incredible stars. Conveniently located to get to the different parts of the national park.
One of the twin mattresses had dipped so we swapped it with a spare bunk mattress (likely that this just hasn’t been noticed). All other beds were comfortable and decent sized rooms
One bathroom meant queuing.

Everything was fine apart from the weather

The location was perfect, loved the village and the people in it. Not too far to anything really and even Snowdon was only an hour away but what a drive !
I think an additional bathroom would have been nice, that’s not a complaint just there were six of us and waiting times for showers and the like could be a bit lengthy.

Beautiful forest Park within a 10 minute drive. Lots of spectacular walks not too far away.
Host was a little intrusive, came around too many times. Not a very pretty part of snowdonia
