Perfect position, beautiful apartment and great host, Gennaro!

Perfect position! Centre of Matera… beautifully appointed apartment! Clean and everything you need close to restaurants and short walk to the historic old part of Matera.

A Fine Choice in Unusual Matera

The location is very close to Matera Centrale (one strange little station)! Gennaro is very kind and helpful, and my worries about gaining access to the place were soon calmed. My room was rather simple and not large, but extremely clean, and the bathroom was sleek & modern.

Will definitely return

The property is perfectly located, everything is brand new and super clean. It is comfortable, modern, well located, absolutely perfect. The best part is the host, Gennaro, who allowed an early check in, greeted me, went out of his way to help with any requests, and even went to his place to find an adaptor that I needed, he is amazing. He also speaks perfect english which made things easier. Cant recommend enough, thanks!

Very comfortable, practical and great location.

Very comfortable room, great bed and linens, modern bathroom. Location is great and practical, easy to park. Also love that they name the rooms after great photographers and display some of their pictures.

Everything you need for a relaxing stay near the historical center.

It was everything as in the photos and description. The room was absolutely clean and you have everything you need. Very spacious, good location, Italian breakfast and the host is very polite and you can ask everything you need or any suggestions.

Exceptional

Extremely nice accommodation and suberb location. We can warmly recommend. Also great for two friends or family as there was another double bed in the loft in it's own privacy. The room and excellent bathroom were spacious and coffee machine in the entrance was an extra bonus. Also kettle in the room and water and juice in the fridge. 10 points!!

Excellent accommodation in a must-see city !

Spotlessly clean, v comfortable and great location. Genarro was very welcoming and the pastry shop for breakfast is super!

Exceptional

This is truly a unique hotel - a clear four star bordering on a 5. It’s unique design and use of space needs to be seen to be believed! The accommodation is immaculately presented with all modern amenities including a choice of lighting colours for the shower. Matera’s wonderful attractions in its ravines are only a short walk away and the breakfast arrangement at the nearby café is lovely … also has availability for private parking for additional €15 a 5 min walk away. The owner was very helpful with his detailed local knowledge of Matera and it’s surroundings and personally helped me change a flat tyre on the day of departure! Delightful, would definitely opt to say again next time in Matera…grazie di tutto!

A great experience made better by our warm and welcoming host Genaro.

Genaro was a wonderful host, he even parked our car for us after a stressful first day driving in Italy. He was full of tips and information to help us make the most of our visit to this fascinating city, including maps and a booklet.

Superb

The host was kind and generous to share instant local tips of finding various kind of food, while many restaurants were full in this public holiday. Lovely interior design and “disco lights” above the shower.

Our room had a door which looked almost as same as the entrance, so some people attempted to open and knock it. Our room was on the ground floor and near a pub. There were some people lingered and spoke loud right outside our room.
