Friendly and helpful hosts, clean and decent room for the price in good location close to airport.

The hostel was perfect location close to the airport with access locally to public transport, the hosts were very helpful and had some good chats with them. Good facilities in terms of lockers, storage, kitchen space. Nice chilled atmosphere with garden that had good sunlight and quiet area. Tried Nan's Noodle House nearby which was so good!!! Hosts went out of their way to help me with something unrelated to booking, which was very appreciated.

My bed was high up bunk bed which was quite small and cramped, and hard to get into/out of. Some guests in hostel were friendly but some were not, this is obviously not up to the hosts. Kitchen had one portable stove to use & kettle but this was all in terms of cooking.

Lovely accommodation, wonderful host, a true home away from home.

Beautiful Alberta home. Loved the log burner stove and the traditional art. Bedroom space was generous and private.

Fantastic accommodation, great welcome and fabulous hosts!

If you need food, a pair of boots, a comfortable lounge with a fireplace and fabulous hosts - just book this hostel! It's awesome!!! Ah, if you have no coins for your bus fare - they'll lend you that as well :-) Not to mention scrumptious waffles Stuart makes :-)

The most cozy hostel in Calgary with the best owners!

Very cozy atmosphere Most friendly owners - Bob and his wife! I needed to have winter stuff and they were so friendly to took me into to the second hand shops. Thanks so much!! And of course the morning waffles from Bob!

My stay was very comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. 5-starts !!

The Host are very welcoming and the property is beautiful both outside and inside. One of the most comfortable stay I have had. This place is not like other places who try to rip you off by charging more during special events like Stampede. they kept their price fixed throughout, which shows the amount of care they put in serving their customers and not just there for the money.

I would stay here again for sure.

The location was great. It was only an 11 miles from the airport and a two miles from a grocery store. The hosts were very friendly and available. They showed a an interest in the personal lives of their guests and were generally interested in hearing about our lives and endeavors.

It would have been better if there was a stove to cook on. There was a hot plate that didn't work.

The property was extremely homely. The communal space was a tv room with comfortable sofas that were phenomenal to nap on post flight, drink beer on and just relax on. In the outdoor garden I gleefully watched beautiful sparrows and woodpeckers fly in and out of the steel gazebo, in the mornings you will catch wild hares and squirrels running through the lawn. Bob has put considerable work into the outdoor garden with edible berry trees, a fire place, and feed for the birds.

Nothing. The property was extremely clean, the hosts were accommodating in a way that can only be described as maternal. The kitchen was large enough for multiple guests to use at once. Both bathrooms were clean.

The hosts were lovely, very kind and friendly. They have a beautiful home. It was very clean. The shower and the waffles were my highlight; the shower pressure was amazing! And the waffles were so tasty!

Very welcoming host. Interesting guests. Free waffles for breakfast. Great shower. Curtains around each bed in the dorm.

Good all round. No hostel sign outside, found it by the house number. Would have liked a little shelf next to the bed with a light and a charge point. Can highly recommend this hostel.

Superb

I only stayed one night arriving late and leaving early morning. However, the staff were great letting me in late, showing me around and taking me to the airport at 6am for $20. For the few hours I was there I spent time in the sitting room which was so nice and homely. Wish I could have spent more time in Calgary. Room and bathrooms all good :)

Really nice and warm atmosphere, I felt at home. I was lucky to sleep alone in the room, there were not many guests at the time. Friendly hosts, always smiling. I liked also decoration in an indigenous style. Everything was in a right place and convenient to use, from towels and soaps, cups and plates, kitchenware, etc. Transfer to the airport.

sometimes you can hear how someone goes in the upper floor, but it wasn't too irritative.
