Location. Comfortable room.
Slow service at breakfast, a very long wait, the guy was on his own.

Nice selection of beer at the bar… was close to where I needed to be the next day.
I generally don’t leave reviews most places are ok, maybe 1 thing here or there but not something that I feel needs to be shared, but this place just had an accumulation of things that were not good. Where do I start?? WIFI didn’t work, TV didn’t work, only 1 non decaf coffee in the room and loose (fingered tea bags) no water in the room, room was tiny, creaky bed, bathroom and shower tiny and a bit grubby, no desk/workspace in room, huge kettle tiny sink (if you know you know). Food was edible in the evening, never asked if I wanted anything after main course, never asked if I wanted another drink with my meal so had to walk to the bar and order/collect it myself, waiting staff all busy sitting round chatting with the locals. Breakfast options were “do you want a full English?” No fruit, no cereal, no pastries, no jam etc… Breakfast coffee was like pond water, no taste I could actually see the bottom of the cup when it was full.

A warm welcome, a lovely atmosphere and fabulous hospitality . We ate here every day and the food was very good, generous portions and everything was home made.
Leaving!

Staff lacked basic customer service skills and general friendliness. The room was dated, and the mattress on the bed was shocking to say the least.

location for Buisness was perfect

great staff, lovely rooms and fantastic beer!
would be useful to have a description on booking.com that this is not really a hotel but a pub with rooms - the absence of a reception that’s open overnight means it’s not possible to arrive after closing time - not a problem but would be good to know in advance.

A good central location in Snaith with good adjacent parking. The room was well appointed but modest in size. The bed was comfortable but there was little wardrobe space in the bedroom. The pub itself was warm, welcoming, spacious and the local Best Bitter was a definite 10/10. The food was basic pub fayre and fine for that, but no more. Breakfast was cooked. We were not offered any cereals/fruit option.
There were no specific dislikes. We were advised the proprietors had only very recently taken over the Brewers and there was a feeling there was the potential for them to up their game in the way they present themselves to customers and deliver the offer. Compared to some of the alternative options the price seemed a little full for what you got.
