Great view of the desert directly from your tent! Outdoors shower with view of the desert.

The neighborhood was quite and the area ok

I really enjoyed the desert view, the surrounding is very beautiful. You can park free in front of the house. Shirley and Gili live nearby, they are very good people, they give you some travel or where-to-eat or what-you-need-to-know advice, if you want, they are very friendly, nice and helpful (Shirley helped me pay parking fine form downtown). Room was clean, air-conditoned, there is small kitchen with some basic dishes in the room. If you find calm place to stay and love nature, it's great choise. Consider to travel there in summer, it's quite hot there.
You have to be careful to some bugs don't get into your room.

The view is unbelievable. Camels were roaming outside.
Host was great and helped with whatever we needed.
It is in the town but at the edge so it feels like camping, but very safe.
Cute little park right beside where kids can play while you relax in the tent with a glass of wine.
The kitchen utensils, pots, plates and cups were all dirty and needed to be rewashed. The dish soap and sponge were old too.
Saw a scorpion at night. Didn't love that.

Shirley was a really nice host who gave us lots of tips on what to do (thanks to her we had a great 4x4 ride and saw some hidden gems) and she made us a great dinner. The room was very nice, clean and spacious and the outside shower with mounten view is lovely in the morning or refreshing after a long warm day in the desert.

Location was on the edge of a desert and this place felt like an oasis.

We loved our stay at the desert’s edge!
My mom and I stayed a night on our way down to the Dead Sea. Shirley also cooked us the most delicious breakfast… the best hosts and best tahini recipe I’ve ever tasted.
Can’t wait to return!
Loved it all.

We loved it there! It's a beautiful place and has everything you need. We stayed in the tent in december but they have a heater so it's warm enough.
Just know that they have cats that also walk through the tent. Two of us are allergic and that was a bit annoying for them.

Owners are really helpful. I had some issue regarding overcharge payment at the gas station before coming and the owner called customer service of the company. I appreciate that.

Lovely spot. We slept outside in the tent. In the morning you wake up with a stunning view. Everything was clean. There is a nice outdoor shower. Gilli, the host, is also a friendly guy with good advices for hikes and trips and some nice talks. I can absolutely recommend it.

The host and staff were very cordial and super welcoming, staying at the Dead Sea Desert‘s Edge felt more like staying with family than in a hostel. There’s a fireplace and a stunning view over the desert all the way to the Dead Sea. Especially if you’re into nature experience you should check this place out!

Lovely lodge up in the hills. Amazing views, comfy mattresses, very cool shower.

The view is the absolute USP. The bonfire in the evening is also nice.
The „mattress“ is just a thin piece of foam laying on the ground. Sleeping on the side makes your shoulder and hips easily touch the ground.
Beddings is 35 Schekel on top.
